A Mercedes with a BMW engine, that's perhaps even more unexpected than the rest of the modifications! Looks like a fuel-injected 1.8 liters four-cylinder out of an E30 or E36 BMW 3-Series

@@technicalitems731 BMW M43 engine. From 102 up to 118 PS, 150-180 Nm. Used in 3 series E36 and E46 and also Z3. From 1.6-1.9l displacement.

The B58 will literally change your mind tho, one of the rare German engines that built like tanks

@@baoquoc3710 German engines have historically actually been among the most "built link tanks" engines because of the Autobahn. They were made to endure potential full throttle scenarios over a longer period of time. If you took a US car from the pre 2000s to the German Autobahn chances were the engine was not gonna make it out alive if it did not have a speed limiter in it (many US cars were then shipped with something like a 180 kph limiter). Also, most Mercedes engines were more "built like tanks" than any BMW engine, especially the older ones.
