If the coding is easy, I can do it... I mean, I can imagine that all I have to do is make the script for a companion something like... Trips : 999999 (in most programs, six 9's is pretty much the standard max) Attack : 10 Health : 10 Loyalty : 10 Price : Free (Since that dude didn't payed anything for her, he met her, which here it comes...) How to get : through event, you can find her in towns too, however, she'll ask you for money, but ideal would be to find her through events on the road, which, will be rare... Yeaaaaaahhhhhh....no, a mod like this is going to ruin the game a little since Holo can pretty much wreck anyone in her wolf form...or maybe if I can tweak her just a little bit...like here and there to not make her so OP...
keep it to human form only that will make it a bit more balanced. she was still useful when in human form with the super smell and sight. that can give you a warning when your in town that there is something on the road a head but not going into too many details.
Aaron Worrell I'm not sure if the events ahead on the roads are predetermened when you reach in the town, or when you start travelling, however, I think she could like give you the percentage of danger when starting the road and having her could like give you an event like.. "There is a possibility that on this path we might get ambushed, however, if we follow this other path it's going to be safer, but it'll take more time" If I get the game I'll check it's coding to see if it's an easy one like on paradox games with games such as EU4 or Stellaris But even like so, I plan on learning to mod games, so yah, I'll look into it if I have the game...and time ofc
Bought a new 1k$ pc and still I look at indie games and still play my old indie games. The first AAA game I tried when I booted up my new computer was Battlefield 1, I went around like Ferdinand the bull, just looking at flowers and enjoying the view. Then after that its been indie game after indie game. Guess charm and new game mechanics is hard to beat with nice graphics and high production budgets.
Rimworld, Prison Architect, Xcom 2, Witcher 3 is some of my favourite games and games that I can sink my teeth in and get lost for days. Been planning on getting Nintendo Switch now and I guess my time will go to Mario Kart, Zelda BOTW, Mario Odessy(when it comes out) and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle which looks like Xcom set in a Mario world with those crazy rabbits that I still laugh my ass of to. But untill then I can check out Tyranny, GearCity and look out for Graceyard Keeper. I've tried Software Inc. A game I'm on the lookout for is Hospitalize since I'm a sucker for Theme Hospital(one of the games that came with my first pc I ever bought as an 8 year old)
I had to plan my computer build over two years getting the budget down to something reasonable for me in my mind, as I play older/indie/MMO/management/simulation type games, the most intensive game I currently own is Cities Skylines. I started with the idea I needed a 1200 dollar rig but got it down to just over 450 building around an i3 sky-lake processor. Don't care so much about max graphical settings just keeping gameplay over 40 fps in more intensive games, but haven't had an issue with max settings so far in the games I enjoy most.
I like the premise but it doesn't seem to have much to offer that other fantasy games (not even trade focused ones) could do. I still think my favorite trading experience was probably Black Desert Online. Hope they flesh it out some, as I'm always interested in the mercantile life.
I remember a flash game where you are a merchant and your companion is a tiny floating anvil with eyes.Sometimes a customer would ask for a chicken instead of the weapons I was selling,which the anvil(forgot his name) will offer to get a chicken in turn for ten gold. If a customer asked for a sword, bow, or shield for a low amount of gold, you can refuse and they`ll up the price. On the first day, people wanted swords to kill goblins. On the second day, people wanted bows to kill mushroom monsters without getting close. On the third day, people wanted shields to hide from berzerkers. I sorta lost because I let people have weapons for 2 or 3 gold! Please tell me if you know where this game is, because I forgot its name.

im sick trying to find a good trading / commerce game.. as far all the ones that i find are boring after a couple hours.. Patrician III was an amazing game for me.. if anyone knows any trading game that deserve a look let me know !
Unbelievably dreary and dull. They couldnt even be arsed to make unique nice icons for the trade goods, just nearly identical looking vector art. Devoid of soul, couldnt play this for hours on end thats for sure.
The facets of game design are far too complex to explain in a RU-vid comment, so I won't argue your first point, but your second I take many qualms with. While you are free to prefer any art style you wish, that is not pixel art, it's polygonal art.
