it's not bio not even in the walker stage,..It's a mech, just like the viking, or the goliat. What is the difference between a firebat suit bio unit from sc1 and the hellbat? The legs and arms are directly what the human uses as a bio unit, whereas, a mech unit they pilot the feet and hands of the walker robot as they sit in the cockpit area, siting in a seat like a car or tighter like a motorcycle
I would say whatever upgrades benefit the Hellbat more are what it identifies as. Ex. If the armory+1/+1 gives Hellbat the buff it's mech. If Engi Bay gives bonus, it's bio.
Would love to see you recreate Specials hellbat ghost timing against zerg that he then went 4 cc in to mech with. Was cool watching queens get sniped whilst hellbats just kept walking forward
The stalker is only "bad" lategame because people don't have the capacity to perfectly micro them all over the map at the same time, same goes for templar/Disruptor/Viper/Infestor/ghost. They all are overpowered, but they require attention as upkeep
Hellbat is 100% mech. It transforms from a wheeled unit to a walker mech. Just like the Viking that transforms from a flyer unit into a walker mech. The difference between it being mech or bio is like the suit of the firebat which is a suit where feet and legs are inside the armor, while a robot you pilot the hands and feet and weapons (mechwarrior style) Now, what do the official SC2 devs consider it? Can it be repaired by scv or healed by the medivac
Hell cat Is more bio, it doesnt have enough power as a tank. A human controls the preciseness. Its more human intuition of the units placement. A tank has so much power that its more power than human preciseness that controls the outcome.
More bio! It's people in suits/mechs. But we still love our suits/mechs. We're small and soft, we need them to help us carry our big guns. It's a symbiotic relationship. win/win and everyone thrives.
I would say the SCv is no more of a biological unit than the hellion, hellbat, or the cyclone. Theyre all big mech units with a little dude inside. Just because the scv and hellbat are humanoid shaped does not mean they are suddenly biological. The majority of damage these units take is to their mechanical hull, theyre not getting roach spittle dissolving their limbs inside the robot which would need medivac repair. The components are getting damaged.
4:05 I don't know exactly what I was expecting to be the overpowered protoss unit, but it was NOT the stalker. Everything I've seen suggests that stalkers are basically never good, though they're mediocre in almost every situation.
@@zachariastsampasidis8880 They have strengths, but in even moderate numbers they get destroyed by bio or low-tier zerg units, even when the blink micro is done by professional players. They're a non-amove unit that loses to the amove units, even if they're microed. The weakness of the stalker (and zealot) is why blizzard has to keep giving protoss incredible defensive tools like shield battery overcharge and the mothership core - protoss tier one units cannot hold their own against terran and zerg tier 1 units.
i think you will find most redditors are brain dead and you shouldn't visit the site in general, the creator is rolling in his grave to what it has become.
