To kill Lux ~6:00 mark he needed to overlap his crowd control better and weave in more auto attacks during the crowd control duration. It doesn't look like he autos in-between his root and his ultimate's stun and the root was only half done when he used his ult. Learning how to overlap crowd control to get the most bang for your buck is an important tool.

17:18 that was super impressive. Probably 95% of players would have left the brush there, but he stays in cover and sure enough, his erstwhile attacker decides he's not there and leaves. Way to stay cool under fire.

Damn the first five minutes of farming was really satisfying to watch. He only missed 7 creeps in the first 5 minutes. He hit 85% of his first back CS and had reliable gold to play with. I wish more clients practiced this before they came to coaching.

His camera control seems already way better than most people in silver/gold

5:40 The layering of cc was definitely off as the student R'd before the W root was finished. More importatly, though, if he had led with Q into R after the root instead of ulting first, the Q likely would have been off CD at the very end to snipe the kill post Lux flash. Also the layering of the cc wasted the slow from Q as I'm pretty sure it was cast right after R.

The best thing ever is when neace is genuinely impressed, so awesome to see. And his confidence must be through the roof after this!

Use Q sooner and hold W till after R ends. This way he could have used 1 more Q and Lux would take much longer to get under her tower

If he hold ignite after lux barriers he kills her, also if he q right away he would have second one to finish her - he would walk up behind minion and q instead last auto attack

At 5:45 he opens his combo with W>Delay>R>Q>Ignite. He held his Q and R for quite a bit before using it (at least a full second), maybe he was trying to weave in auto attacks. If he had opened the combo with an INSTANT R>Q>Ignite, it would have prevented lux from using her Q and since R stuns instead of roots, he could reposition to W right before/after lux's inevitable flash. By using Q earlier, it would have likely been up for another cast at the end of his combo if he spreads his CC out just a little more efficiently. The only thing that prevented him from getting the kill was that he took lux's Q to the face when he could have started his combo with R and not been rooted. Lux's barrier and flash wouldn't have mattered if he had been able to reposition.

I’m still in silver and it’s weird because I feel like he exhibits what’s typical in a lot of my games. I assume he is NA and like Neace has said NA mechanics are typically good but just not sure what to do in certain situations. I feel like if Neace is able to help him learn the thought processes that need to take place mid and late game he will rise quickly!

Weave more between the sides of minion waves during Q cd to make it easier to dodge poke and if Lux uses E it's only hitting a small amount of minions compared to the entire wave.

My knowledge of League and rotations have improved so much after I started watching Neace and one other dude. If you wanna learn adc I would suggest playing Aphelios in norms. You are forced to perfect your cs and positioning or you're useless. Best champ to learn the role. Edit: the other guy is coach blaker

The way he gets the kill is by not overlapping R stun with W root, instead going for an AA while the W is still in effect. After that you can micro other stuff like walking towards her tower in between spells to maybe squeeze in one more auto even.

delaying the ult by abit so he gets a longer cc chain, he's not bad definitely for silver just not confident in his play. Just a player who needs time to limit test and figure out stuff

In a lot of the later team fights I think the student could stand to be more decisive throwing R. He doesn’t recognize when he’s in a position to cc lock the kayn or aatrox out of drain tanking fast enough. Maybe needs a bit stronger understanding of when they’re looking to use big CDs to heal and he’s in a position to preempt it

Idk if u can barrier if she Rd first then ignite. That and he could of orb walked forward more during his R on the all in .he just left a small gap in his combo on the first possible kill.

there was 1 cs under tower on that first kill attempt so since he didnt have turret agro, he coulve walked in under tower after lux untill the shield dropped and then auto her for the kill with the ignite ticking as the 1 cs couldve tanked 1 more tower hit.

He cancelled 2 autos, don't think they would matter anyways because barrier would just eat it. He also used w before r+q combo instead of r+q+auto+w+auto, would be mutch smoother and maybe get more damage trough barrier so ignite tick kills her, not sure if it kis but certainly gets you that auto that he cancelled earlier + it makes it so he can walk infront of her between basics while she is cced so he could probably get another auto off without flash. But at that point flash auto would be still good because it gets his lane ahead and he is neutral with her sums.

I am not familiar with the details of 50% of the champions' kits in league, but from the 8 years of moba experience i have elsewhere and knowing lux kit quite well, its obvious that she is looking to Q immediately when shes trying to get away. There's no reason to not anticipate that response and side step left or right. That would have made that kill almost trivial getting to auto her even one more time. Probably could get 2 autos on her depending on how long the cc lasts relative to the atk spd on this champ

5:30 he either could’ve ignited earlier during the great burst, she probably wouldn’t have time to react to all the abilities pressed at the same time and an ignite 0,5 or 1 sec earlier was enough to kill her if she didn’t instant barrier.

At 28:00 where you tsof died, then flash the Lux Q or be so close she misses it, those 2 would of died And since Vex is the one who feared him making him unable to E over and flank the Jinx, she could of popped her aswell. Ofcourse this is in hinsight, but Vex really was 1 Q or W away from death and he had F & Zhonyas, so could of gotten a triple potentially if not double for sure. Dank Video though.

Lux doesn’t heal, but the damage from ignite was absorbed by barrier. He could have killer her by holding ignite until barrier came down, or on the tail end of it.

Ult into auto Q W ignite would've killed. Ignite after she barriers, not before because that extra burn damage would burn off a little of her shield at the end & kept burning her, rather than burning her a little and then the rest of the burn going towards the shield.

Could do E+AA+Q+AA(q aa reset for electro)+W(lux is 100% in range, cause she stops to cast root+slowed)+ingnite+AA+AA+R+AA+AA+Q to the back if she still survives (this is how I would've played it, yes ignite into barrier, most likely like the guy did, but still, I'm pretty sure that would've killed).. Run theory in practice tool- ye should be a kill around 1200-1378 damage max depending on rune choice and execution ofc, higher with "scorch", but "transcendence" is fine too, just need to move a bit in-between "last" 4 aa's and R as u want to hug her after root on you expires. (lux has around 942 hp and 40 mr)

ok about the fight at 5:45 he use his E W and that is fine. After that HE SHOULD AA and then ult because of the stun from W she cant get away and after that just Q-AA-ignite and its done. Overall, he miss the kill by just 1 auto attack :)

i was thinking other than the abilities perspective of use combo, more like when he uses liss dash(which is e?) since his dash reaches anyways he couldve waited in the brush for the potential that there wasnt any vision instead of showing and telling self and i think it mightved ended differently cause if i recall correctly it seemed that when liss appeared on mid she walked towards the center of lane and more away from the e? it also could provide a element of surprise vs just tellign on urself and she mightve reacted a bit late with flash barrier?

I think pink ward usage is dependent on elo. Spending 150 gold for two pink wards in that elo, when vision isn’t really being contested, is a huge waste imo. People don’t even know how important vision is in silver/gold 😅

To kill at 6:00, he could have actually gone for another aa if he hard committed (instead of walking back straight after shooting that last aa) and then flashed through the wall into the raptors to get away with it. Keep the flash to save yourself, not to kill and then die.

After W first auto, then Q into R -> auto again then Q + ignite should do the job.

at 5:53 if he walked towards her deeper he could have killed her with one more auto ( that would mean he will have to burn his flash to stay alive from the turret shoots) but if he started with autos earlier, probably she would have died faster too without the need to burn his flash

all he needed was one single auto between two spells. example, ult auto q and she dies off the ignite. the cc could have been layered better, but, wasn't as relevant as the auto. but either would have secured the kill.

In matches like this he shouldve ult himself more often and also he is not using zhonya enough in combination with ult to stall for skill to come up.Thats just my thought and also for champions like lissandra learning for even 10 minutes in practice tool quick self target ult on keyboard is must have.He did once or twice ulted enemy instead of himself becouse of no knowing this trick.Anyways great training and coaching session.Good job!

He has boots and lux does not. Could follow Lux under tower for 1 more auto. Would survive the 2 tower shots. Can still kill her even with non-perfect CC chain and not needing to flash. Even holding ignite longer would have killed her since she likely uses barrier too soon.
