I don't talk about it much but I live with an incurable illness that's forced me to rely on my RU-vid channel as my only source of income to survive. I have a few Warm pieces and they don’t make me fall out of my seat. 1073 and Pul Tech both stereo and their 241 which I really like that for the cost especially. Just got this one coming in because the price is worthwhile to have tracking. Even if the others aren’t anything special they still work great for what they offer. They aren’t bad either by no means. I have some HW pieces that are just magic boxes being no name not even made for pro level stuff. Like Technics SH-8020 parametric eq made for hi fi stereos back in the early 80’s are just pure magic boxes it’s a 32k band and make quick work of some sterile tracks

Kree is one of the few local hip hop artists I mess with. My city is full of "artists" but few with actual talent that separates them from the crowd. I try to get who I can from that lot to feature in my videos.

I like your desk. I found your link in the description to get more info and it doesn't have your desk at that link, or any recording studio type desk with those rackmounts placed in the perfect position :( Great review, I'm excited about this new WA product. I bought their last new product and wasn't a fan of it (wa-mpx) but I do have some of their preamps, and the wa47 mic

I'm in the same boat. The WA1B has essentially bumped my 2A. The 1B sounds so great I really don't see a need for the 2A now

Too muddy and “warm” with some harsh hi mids…the original sounds much smoother. A shame really. You could use access analog to try the 1B by the was, over streaming

Fair enough. I haven't tried the original and since the pro studios I reached out to in the area didn't have it was out of luck to do a comparison.

@@JacobDarkOfficial i appreciate the content though! you should really try access analog: I think you would really like it. Its a plugin you load into your daw: in real time, it sends the audio out of whatever track you have loaded it on, across the world, to a bunch of gear hooked up to servers. You have “plugin” versions in your daw to control, but you are actually controlling a real analog unit remotely over the internet. Theres a little latency of course- but its absolutely incredible. Theres loads of stuff to try, vintage neves, distressors, CL1B, fairchild like compressors, manleys, the new RND Master buss transformer and Master buss processor, Pultecs, API, 1176s…as well as entire mastering chains with some incredible stuff- even an alpha compressor. Give it a whirl :)

The GAP is less than half the price so that's tempting but I've never tried it so hard to say which one is "better". I'd imagine you could get great results out of either one if your skills are where they need to be.
