I think it’d be really cool if there was a replay feature so u can watch both players speed running at the same time after the match

This mod is actually such a blessing and an absolute w FR, it's also great for people who are new to speedrunning to take stuff seriously and start getting more competitive!

15:12 EARTHQUAKE, ur not supposed to crouch off the side of the block when pillaring in the middle of the fortress walkway cause the skeles will think ur located at the bottom of the pillar, crouching off the side only works if you pillar right next to the "handrails" of the nether walkway. Instead you should just stand in the middle of the gravel pillar as the skeles will pathfind to try and match your y level, resulting in them getting on top of the "handrails". also great video! hopefully will bring more attention to ranked

The mod is incredibly exciting to watch, it's the sort of thing that's almost perfect for bringing attention back to 1.16 RSG.

i feel like a replay option would be great, being able to see what your opponent did differently after a match by just watching their gameplay and honestly thats probably good enough, but being able to slow down the game or go forward in time/ go back in time and possibly change pov (as in spectator pov and opponent pov) would just be a great feature. if youre new and you lost, you can see the opponents actions and learn speedrun tactics, and even if you won you could see how the opoonent did differently, a different approach or mistakes that you can learn to avoid next games

good to see how the level of editing has stepped up and how youre being consistent and posting all different kinds of stuff

Actually I think you could be extremely competitive in that mode since you have a ton of experience in no reset speedrunning! I think it would be cool to see you play with calculator enabled to see your full unleashed potential :)

Quick thought about an *inconvenient* of this mod, especially if you use it for speedrunning practice and not just for fun. If you get information about what your opponent is doing, it makes you adapt on the fly in a way you wouldn't, because you couldn't, if you speedran solo, because you wouldn't have the extra info. For example, if you see your opponent is already in the fortress while you're still in the bastion, you know the fortress can't be far away, so even if you don't see it immediately, you know you need to keep looking because it HAS to be somewhere near. I've seen the same exact thing in Ocarina Of Time Randomizer races. For context: it's an OoT mod, you generate a seed where the major items in the game can be anywhere (not in their "vanilla" location), and you have to search for the items needed to beat the game. During a race, you get notified when a player finishes, and if you're still looking for a lot of items at that point, it tells you you've been looking in the wrong spots because all the items CAN be found quickly (because someone DID find them). Remaining players frequently *completely* change the way they route through the seed once they see that someone finished.

replay features would be so cool as well so you can check out how the other guy did some things or of course watch some replays from top players, but I guess that would be pretty hard to do

What an excellent description for the in-video video

so there is this mod i have been playing with recently calles "end remastered" where you can only open the end portal with 12 of the 16 custom eyes, each having a different way to be obtained. for example, one eye is dropped by the wither, one eye can be found in bastions, one eye can be obtained by tradin etc. i would love to see how fast a proffesional speedrunner can get to the end using this mod.

Love how the seed selection/rng sets work on this! Biggest thing I'm wanting as a new player is the option to play out seeds if an opponent forfeits or if the opponent wins, would make it much more enjoyable for me! Does this support more than 2 players in a match as well? Would love to see 5+ players in a match so it's not all or nothing for first 👌
