Someone just asked me why Shen can't play for taunt at 00:54 so I'll explain a bit more in depth. You can see the way I'm moving I'm preparing for him to play for taunt but he doesn't. He could totally move towards me while killing the meeles and play for taunt afterwards. I'd respond by trying to bait the taunt at the edge of tower range or baiting him to taunt outside of tower range and hopefully be able to deny him creeps for however long this is going for. If he does taunt me just outside of tower range I can still drag the wave from taking agro from autoing him. If he taunts me at the edge of tower range if I time it right with the tower shots and my steps foward I won't necessarily take a tower shot at all and he'll lose creeps as well as I'll still be able to pull the wave. But people are not used to this strat yet so most people do not try to deny you from doing it. When people are more used to it in a lot of matchups there will be dances like I just described to try and deny you from doing it while you try to waste their time.

this sort of shit is common af in dota, but leagues minions are coded to be as stubborn as possible so you can only manipulate them in niche cases like this.
Alois basically made a guide about what you do on renektion and showed this trick but never credidted you in any way just said **fundamentals** espeically since you are compared to him still very small I dont get why he wouldnt atleast say where he got his insperation from

I accidently did a variation of this in the last couple of days on the botlane! I am a master Rengar adc otp. I pulled the minions so that they walked on the far right on the botlane - so you can pull the minions on the far left on toplane, meaning: on the outer circle of the map it's possible to do that wave-aggro-pulling, too.
Tip on red side! If they show up late to lane lv 1, you can drag enemy minions upwards and that makes the minions clump toward the topside of the tower (which lets you do the minion pull)
If your plan is to prevent enemy slow pushing and building a big wave to dive or to be able to be on the offense most of the time then this strat will work If you try to do this for no reason you will get nowhere
Wouldnt it be better to be patient and let those waves push into you naturally? Then you can hold the wave in front of your tower with much more space to all in.
