I gave my blessed miraculous medal to my mom to wear when she went on palliative care. I was holding her hand when she died and she was still wearing the miraculous medal I gave her and a blessed Rosary - and she died while I was in the middle of praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with EWTN. I started it at 3pm (when they pray/sing it on EWTN) and was holding her hand, singing and watching her breathe her final breaths. She died at 3:12pm and I didn't stop; I continued singing it with tears streaming down my face but with a profound sense of peace and gratitude that she died during the praying of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy! After it was over, I lowered mom's bed, climbed back in it with her, held her hand again and prayed the Rosary starting at 3:30pm with Mother Angelica and EWTN. It began 18 minutes after mom died so my intention was for her to bypass purgatory and go straight to heaven. It wasn't until 4pm, and I had done both the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary, that I informed the family of her passing. After she was formally pronounced dead by the Hospice nurse, I took the Miraculous Medal and Rosary off her and I put the Miraculous Medal back on my neck, where it still is today. One month, to the day, after mom's funeral, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C colon cancer, which I am now fighting. I wear my miraculous medal 24/7 and trust in God, whether He cures me or calls me home. RIP, mom. Wednesday 5 June, 2024. I miss and love you!
Please pray for my brother. I recently gave him a Miraculous Metal that used to be my Father’s who passed away 2 years ago. He was just diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, and given a 3-5 year window to live. He is only 64 years old. My wee anecdote- I wear and keep a medal in my purse and one day I accidentally put my miraculous medal and some loose change into a charity collection box (I meant to put the loose change in 😂) I was so sad to lose my purse medal but two days later I open my purse and a medal was in there!!! 😮 I know it’s not moving mountains but for me it really strengthened my faith!

I was born Catholic and kind of veered off into Baptist-like Christianity because of a friend of mine. I could not, however, give up Mary (went to St. Mary Grammar and High School in the 60s). I also had an Aunt who was a Felician Nun, so I've had medals and rosaries, crosses, etc. all my life. About a year ago, I disconnected from that friend because I disagreed with some of the doctrine her church was teaching (and another reason, more personal) and I am back to wearing my crucifixes, miraculous medals, etc. Can't take the Catholic out of the girl!

My husband, who was in RCIA at the time, was given a miraculous medal keychain. He put it on his keychain. Last December, he was t-boned and flipped his truck upside down. The truck was totaled. He walked away with a sore back. That was all. He never found the metal after the accident.
Yes, I have had a miracle. My best friend gave me a miraculous metal she bought in Paris at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. It wasn’t gold and it turned green on me. I did not like it that color. I was so sad and disappointed, I wanted another one. The next day it was back to its original color! I rarely take it off and I feel so safe with it on. I have a miraculous medal that I purchased this year at The Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri. As I was watching this video, I was debating whether to wear my Miraculous Medal to my dermatology appointment tomorrow morning. I had a very concerning melanoma looking mole on my forearm. After I read the comment section, I looked at my mole and it was gone. It totally disappeared! I’m still going to my appointment tomorrow to get all of my skin checked out anyways. I love miracles ❤
I had bought a small container of watches at an auction, & 1 of the watches actually worked, & is very old. I had noticed a tiny round 'charm' dangling from the right side of a chain below the bottom of this little watch. I used a magnifier, plus my camera light, & took a picture, then used 'Google Lens' because I didn't know what it was. My daughter had a miscarriage this morning. She is devastated. She and her husband have been married for 7 years and they have no children. She is a devout Christian, but not Catholic. I want to give her a medal but I don’t know if she would wear it. Praying for her.
A child is a is a gift, not a right. Sorry for her loss but it's God's will. Perhaps he doesn't will children for them. His will be done, not my own. Tell her that. My so called Catholic niece had vid because SHE wanted a child. She never asked.. does the child want her. Mist people don't. Most people r people are all about themselves.

I used to slide brown scapular patches under my dad's mattress, in 8th grade, because the Baltimaore catechism taught that you can't be saved unless you convert someone to Catholicism. I thought that brown patches would work. I had a number of miraculous medals and religious objects during my catholic days. But in spite of all that, I never once heard the gospel being taught nor mentioned in the Catholic church; I discovered the substitutionary atonement on my own, outside the church. My brother Dennis used to turn around the statue of St. Christopher on his car dashboard, so the back would be facing him. He said he wanted St. Chris to be watching the road ahead, instead of having his back to it.

I have two Miraculous Medals, all in 14k gold. One which was given to me by my Godmother when I was the age of 9 years old. And the other Miraculous Medal was my mother's, which she is no longer with me. But I wear my mom's Miraculous Medal at other day, and I wear mine on other days as well. I like changing them, because mine is in the oval shape. And my mother's is in the round shape medal. I also give donations to The Association Of The Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri. I enjoy reading their Bulletins they send me about the works they do for the poor and needy. I would like to comment on the lady who felt like she was processed after taking hers off. I bought a miraculous medal at the start of my Catholic conversion and wore it quite often, but the feel of something on my neck all the time was bugging me so I took it off. Let me tell you I have been fighting tooth and nail to complete my conversion . Something always gets in the way , no matter how much I communication is involved in the process. After watching this video I am wondering if taking it off and not wearing it anymore could be the reason why, some sort of spiritual warfare?!

Heather I’m soooooooo excited after I watched your video I immediately went on line and put the miraculous medal in my cart “ amazon” then I remembered that I have some very old medals from who knows where I can’t remember but in any case , the medal that I thought was the one wasn’t however I did find a 14k gold small round medal and sure enough it’s the one . Has all the markings like you said and the bottom says “ Italy” I’m so excited . Would it be ok to take my cross off and wear the miraculous medal instead ? Or wear both ty for all you do ! 🌻🌻🌻

So I'm pretty sure I have a "false" miraculous medal on my rosary (that I had blessed). It's a pretty good quality and sturdy rosary that I got from Amazon. Am I wrong in thinking a blessing would negate the "demonic freemason" symbolism? It has the star at the top but it doesn't have any mason logo.
You could always cut it out and replace it with a real one just to be sure and preserve the rest of the rosary. Sometimes these objects need to be exorcised with specific prayers to rid them of curses.

This might seem like a really silly question, but how do you keep your hair from getting all tangled up and wrapped around the chain? Every necklace I've ever had I've ended up with my hair wrapped around it, then I have to figure out some way to cut the hair without damaging the chain. It's super frustrating and and pretty much keeps me from wearing any sort of necklace.
Im a new Catholic and I really love Mary! Rosary is my favourite prayer :) But could you please explain more about these medals, how does it work... I mean, isnt it something like paganism to believe that an inanimate object can have such power? Im truly asking genuinely and Im willing to learn. Its simply difficult for me to uinderstand why isnt the crucifix enough, why this medal as well as the Benedict medal? Im not familiar with that one at all. Look up exactly what Mother Mary said during her Apparitions to St. Catherine Laboure. There is more to just the medal being worn it's knowing that Mother Mary had a plan to help us sinners receive more graces by wearing the medal. It's a great reminder of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgen Mary.

I am a Catholic, was a more practicing years ago, wore medals, crosses and just not seeing how an object can bring anyone changes. It is a piece of metal. I guess just not believing this. I think it is a feeling when people wear these, but not sure this actually is the object that is causing a miracle.

Those little one dollar miraculous medals only become tarnished when our lady is not happy with you. This is usually due to the fact that you are not saying the rosary on a consistent basis.
I'm pretty sure that you understand that the medal, itself, has no power and, that there's no 'magic' involved here. Still, I feel obligated to mention this as some of the comments seem to attribute miraculous things to the medal, itself. Also, I'm sure you realize that the Church teaches the opposite. I can just imagine some of our Protestant brothers and sisters stumbling upon this post and thinking, "there they go...those crazy Catholics worshiping statues and thinking trinkets have special powers". Again, I'm sure you realize that the medal does nothing, by itself, without the power of God, through the intercession of Mary. Just checking....
