I'm a 115 pound anorexic and I really hated food. I just never felt hungry I'd only eat a PBJ slice of pizza or two or plain pasta at night only, legit 23 hours without food daily.. I been binge watching your videos and out of nowhere I started having cravings, I ate 3 times yesterday!! Like right now I feel soo dam hungry and that's not normal for me. I think you may have gotten me to want food. I'm a vegetarian (cheese is my weakness) so close to vegan. But I look at all that meat and I start to salivate. Thanks for your content man, you're attitude comes off super humble and respectful.. Idk how you do it! My wife and I watched 3 hours of your videos last night lol. Absolute beast!

I am so confused with these videos. You go to a place, you eat a lot and beat every record, you get a t-shirt and you meet and greet a number of locals….every time! But it’s AWESOME. You my man Beard are what RU-vid was made for. Don’t stop being you!

Of the dozen or so challenges of watched Beard do so far, this is by far the easiest. I see the food come out and think, this is just a light snack for him - especially because there is no time limit.

I like how he never wasted any food, always picks up a tiny crumb. He respects food.

Grant and I am an amateur chef, but also an author of many types of books from kids' Bedtime stories (age 2 to 8 yrs of age) , science fiction aimed at promoting anti-bullying, other articles and short horror/thriller books (only 15 minutes long!). Why have I mentioned this? I understand that you have a couple of uni degrees, both dealing with English Literature. There was little direction offered during the late 50s, when I was at boarding school in Yorkshire, so my more obvious directions took me more to acting and music, at which I enjoyed both professional and semi-professional status, including now, 68 years in theatre. I have recently learned of you about two or three months ago… I forget which but I have been fascinated not only with your eating process and successes, but also your use of English language during your masticating marathons. I really enjoy your manner of presentation. I wish you growing successes, regardless of your increasing age, which doubtless, might make it more difficult for you to complete the challenges… I sincerely hope not for a number of years. And by the way I keep looking for places that you use for a challenge that I visited during my 23 years of living in Canada, before moving here to Moscow, Russia.

Those onions rings sounded perfect. They sounded like the quintessential onion rings. They had crunch while also being flaky and the onion within didn't look stringy and looked like it just snapped right away. That's an amazing chef.

I am leaving this message on a recent video. Wanted to reach you with my gratitude. Love watching your videos. I have an unintentional eating disorder. So watching you scarf down food while I also have what I would consider a giant plate of flood really helps and motivates me to keep taking bites. I've gained 40Ibs watching you, and thats really really good considering before watching you i was 110Ibs 5'8 Male. Not great. Just wasn't hungry ever. One bite would fill me up. So you really helped me with having what I would feel is a friend or mate with me helping me motivate me to keep pushing. You've really done more than you could think to help me love my body. I always feel like these places pad out their big platter challenges with a ton of fries because they know how filling potatoes are. It's the same premise as "unlimited" breadsticks - they know bread is filling, so they're not losing money because most people are not going to eat THAT many.

I'm an American from the south and I could eat black pudding at each meal. Fell in love with that food the 6 hours I was stuck in Ireland. Also under his beard is all gullet.

All I'm going say about this video...I loved the crunch of those onion rings! Made me wish I could have a couple of them.

I honestly believe the other guy probably took almost 4 hours. The genuine way he said “Jesus Wept” was honestly pure shock. That chef never thought he’d ever see anyone put away the platter that fast.

I’ve heard from a competitive eater that it’s best to eat the potatoes first so that there’s a nice bed for everything to sit on and mash down a bit. Gives more room for the lighter things like salad on top.

I'm vegan, and I'm not eating for about 6 more hours because if intermittent fasting, but you're videos are great fun to watch. My appetite only increases when I have recently had sugar, I've had some glass bottles of real sugar dr. pepper recently as a comfort food while recovering from covid, and it's crazy how much sugar increases your overall appetite, even into the next day or two. When you don't eat sugar all the time you notice how it changes you, it makes you want to eat more food. When you eat sugar regularly you probably have no idea what it's doing to you.
