Yeah I’ve been messing around the past week with AI, it’s been a few years since I’ve played Arma 3 so just trying to remember it all again haha 😆

I’ve gone past a couple with no issue on another save I have going when I was learning the basic of the game mode, this is why it confused me at first but I try to engage them before or find another route if I can now. Thanks for the feedback, always appreciate it 🙂

@@theurbanhermit365 Yeah, it also depends on how close you get. Their range is VERY small, but once you're in it they catch you. I've driven around them a few times, but it's tricky going just far enough out of their range, but still staying close enough to the road. I'm enjoying your video so far. Keep it up.

I've not been too bad on another save I've got going, once you get a foot hold its not too bad for HR. Not really taken anything in the north yet but looks like a struggle with 3 battles going on.

It’s been a few years since I’ve played Arma 3. Re found a love for it haha. The only DLC I don’t have is the Contact dlc

Yeah I have seen this, it’s been so long since I’ve played arma 3. I also wanted to get the newer ww2 creator dlc pack but may wait for a sale first haha

With the Antistasi stuff it'll stay solo, I do have plans for some community missions in the future though. Join the discord to keep up to date with announcements etc

When you collect loot from bodies via a loot crate and then unload that in to your arsenal this will stock them. Once you have 25 of a weapon it’ll become infinite so you can then give them to your AI. There is a way of getting them to manually pick up rifles but it seems to be a bit buggy when I’ve used it. So do ammo truck mission/supply missions this will give you some good amount of munitions etc I’ll be doing some basic guides to go through things like this over the coming weeks as well 🙂

Personally never tried Benny warfare so I couldn’t say but Antistasi has been a whole load of fun, there’s also another one similar called KP Liberation. I would give them both a go and see what you think 🙂

You can save the game via the map at HQ this’ll then store those items and add them to the arsenal count 🙂 Saves you having to exit and reenter 🫡

Most likely one of the mods you’re using, I would add a mod then test to see if it resolves it. Add more till you find which mod is the issue 🙂

@@theurbanhermit365 Many thanks for your response. There is no hurry. I use Antistasi with various mods. Then I saw that some were using Antistasi Ultimate. Now I don't know which is better. But if you have time, you are welcome to make a video about Antistasi Ultimate with your mods.

Ultimate is standalone. You only need it, CBA_A3, and any mods for factions, map, and any QoL mods you want (as long as they don't break things, e.g. ai mods usually break stuff)

Ctrl + space bar. This switches between your squad and the High Command squads 🙂

you host a server to start a game, this can be done online or on local. I'm currently making a video for this, should be ready in the next couple of days. Search Antistasi ultimate on steam workshop, it'll be the first one you see, it'll need a separate mod for it also but its listed when downloading the ultimate mod 🙂

I can’t tell you why you can’t save, if you’ve done what I’ve done then you shouldn’t be having all these issues, I would say you’re missing something. Verify the files of the game, see if that helps

@@theurbanhermit365 I already did all that. Downloaded, installed and playing Ultimate. Started a local server. Do you have answers to my issues? The "SAVE" function is greyed-out. Petros doesn't give me missions. The Flag gives me no options. The Garage has no cars.

@@RamblinRick_ dude, I just said I don’t know why it’s not saving.. go to the map and save the game, hence why I gave you some solutions. if it doesn’t work I don’t know, the fact you’re missing things from the mod tells me you’re missing an item from the mod.. so that’s why I said check the files by verifying them. I didn’t design the mod just use it. Also why I said I’m making a video to explain how to install and run the mod as some people are having issues.

Yeah with waypoints only time I have issues with them is if there are civilian vehicles crossing bridges when the AI are. Ai and small spaces don’t go well 😅🤣

The current series I am doing is vanilla, so I’m only using Ultimate and the CBA_A3 which is required. I know ACE works with it but other than that I’ve yet to test other mods. I think there is a current bug with rearming. My advice is to go to the AI loadouts and give them 300 rounds each, then if needed use the red box at base to reset everyone, this is a good way of rearming/healing at base. You can also manually ask your ai to pick up individual weapons when you’re looting but it’s a bit long, best thing to do is stack up 25 of a weapon which will then unlock it for the AI to spawn in with. For yourself there is a load/save tab at the bottom when you’re in the arsenal, this will save the current load out so you can just load it when needing to re arm etc.

@@theurbanhermit365 Thanks for the Tips. I have tried to save the Load out and Even if I load the saved Load out. I then Exit the Box, I still do not have, nothing Equip. But it still shows my Player with the stuff what I selected. But As soon, I exit. Boom, nothing has been Equip. Or in my Inventory.

@stevel105 I would say that would be one of the extra mods you have that’s causing this then, I’ve not come across this bug with the ultimate and cba_a3 add on. Best thing to do is load one mod at a time on top of the 2 needed as stated above. Then test, do this with each mod and when it happens you’ll know it’s that last mod loaded that is causing it. That would be my go to to troubleshoot the issue

Apex - The Old Man DLC 🙂 Found this on the steam page - How to play Arma 3 Apex: Old Man? If you already own Arma 3 and the Arma 3 Apex expansion, you just need to download the latest Arma 3 update (1.98) on Steam. Afterwards, launch the game, go to SINGLEPLAYER in the main menu, click on SCENARIOS, and select Old Man.

Yeah why I like Antistasi, sometimes I look over my shoulder and see the medic dragging another AI member for aid. Makes it a bit more immersive haha

I’m on the tanoa map. I did notice on a different map I started with shotguns and a bolt action. So maybe different maps/factions will start with different weapons ? Not 100% sure but that’s my best guess haha

Should be in the in game settings for the server. Off the top of my head I’m not 100% sure what section it’s under.

There is a couple of WW2 mods you can use with Antistasi. Head to their main website. It gives you a whole list of compatible mods with Antistasi 🙂

Only mod I’m currently using is Antistasi ultimate. The AI can mess around a bit, put them in combat mode - select all units, then number 7 and then 2 if I’m remembering correctly. They’ll react a lot better then 🙂

Antistasi Ultimate you’ll need CBA_A3 to be able to run it correctly but should state this when you download on steam 🙂

There are plenty of milsim groups that still play Arma 3 I’m sure there are some that are dedicated to certain mods, maybe even this one. It’s not something I’ve looked in to but there’s plenty of people that play Arma3 still 🙂

@@theurbanhermit365oh wow that is amazing. I mean last time I played antistasi ultimate was last year, and the only thing AI did was throw tons of grenades only. I should try this tonight

The AI can be a bit janky still. The main bridge over to the island I'm currently taking over can have crap pathing sometimes, sometimes it takes a while for the AI to pick you up but no more than 3-4 minutes I've waited before, other than that they seem to fight well. Would highly recommend jumping back in if its been a while to check it out again.@@dmknght8946

@@theurbanhermit365 oh i play Altis map mainly and AI always has problem on small brides. Btw do u use ace combat medic mod? It could be the reason that i (ussed it) was rescused by AI

@dmknght8946 I use the base ultimate mod and it requires CBA_A3 to use. Other than that I’m not running any other mods 🙂

Only mod I run is the Antistasi ultimate 🙂

It's integrated custom ai inside antistasi, however it only works with vanilla medical. Many people choose to use ACE which overrides it, AI cannot help you when using ACE

Haha, I didn’t even know there was a cheat menu tbf 🤣 It’s easy enough when you’ve played arma before, I dropped Arma 3 for a while but found this mod and fell in love with the game all over again 🙂
