Fun fact: the only reason this mod can exist as it does is because 343i actually tried implementing ADS during some point in development and that functionality still remains useable in the mod tools. There's also remnants of a mantling system they had prototyped at some point (though it's unusable), and the predator missile set piece in Halo 4's campaign is actually just reusing a cut ability that was originally intended for multiplayer as a sort of kill streak. They literally just wanted to make CoD but got cold feet or ran out of time to do so.
You are correct. Tho the way I did it isn't exactly the same as was used in the Halo 4 Alphas it used some of the sane systems. I tried to implement mantling into this mod. However, it's in too much of a broken state to use, so I cut it.

@@crypticbaitGameplay wise it had a moment or two. Story wise it opened a can of worms that Halo never recovered from. The Forerunners "programmed" human DNA to invent Master Chief for the sole purpose of QTE killing the "Didact" 2 million years in the future. The whole events of Reach, CE-3 were preplanned moment by moment in DNA by the not-human anymore Forerunners. 343 has had to soft reboot the story every single game since bc it was such a mess.

🍻Boxer chads stand up. Been hooked since CE. Makes more sense being able to use both sticks to aim melee in frantic close quarters and having nades be the function that suffers from a thumb reposition. Though after years of playing I just rotate my index finger from the bumper area to B so I can aim the whole time for the nades too.

switching between COD and battlefield back then was hard! one game pressing the analog stick was crouch and in one it was to knife! so to this day i STILL panic crouch even tho i always use the analog stick to crouch ever since BF4 lol

I used fishstick on halo 4, sorry sue me, but I learned how to play console on cod and can rarely ever teach myself to rewire my brain to understand different controls, don't even get me started on what I'm having to even concept for keyboard lol...
I mean, the assault rifle shreds through jackals, elites, grunts, crawlers, and even knights. As long as you are playing on heroic or lower. The pistol is insanely powerful too. Just don’t pick up the promethean weapons unless it’s a precision one.
