I hope they do. I'm due for my s8+ upgrade abs the at trying to sell me the s9+ ultra but I won't get it without 5G. It's wifi only and I can't work outside on wifi.
@@LiveTUNA s8?? Holy crap. I had an s8+ in 2017... Then s9+ in 2018, Note 20 in 2020, then s21 in 2021, the Note 22 in 2022 and I had that for the longest until I got my Google Pixel 8 pro in 2023, but I'm going back to Samsung s24 soon.
I’m in my 60s. If you took that back to the 1990s they’d accuse you of having alien tech. A 15” monitor back then was 640x480, 30fps interlaced, and was the size and weight of a toilet. Oh, and it had no built-in processing power or storage other than a frame buffer. Take it back to the 1960s and it would be witchcraft. The tech advanced I’ve seen are insane.
I just got mine yesterday. 😊 Very happy with this Tablet. And yes, I also wished it had the 5G with this 1 Tb Tab S9 Ultra. Fortunately, I have unlimited hotspot data, does help having internet too the wi-fi only model.
got myself one too. but i wish it can be holdable by one hand, somewhat a glove at the back just like in baseball. or a casing with a holder on the edges
How do you even handle a 14 inch tablet? I have a 9.5 inch Tab S3 from 7 years ago and I'm afraid to carry it around even with a case and I've banged it on door frames plenty of times on accident. I couldn't imagine carrying around a literal laptop sized piece of glass that's even thinner
@@prabijshresthahe gets better grades because it helps him study and organize, and he gets a higher paying job from being a better student, it really makes it worth the investment lmao
@@prabijshresthawell it sounds like you know that guy, bcs from my point of view, he has a tablet that he can use in various ways, one of them being notes taking at his collage, but later on he can watch movie, draw, etc. I do own both laptop and ipad for scholl, both of them I use at home as well...
@@MichaelsPwnerin my opinion, what makes a tablet a tablet and a laptop a laptop is the software. If you have a giant screen, but it’s ARM based and runs Android/iOS, it’s a tablet, but if it runs windows then it’s a laptop with a tablet form factor.
Thats what i thought. I got the s8 ultra max spec when it came out, It is not for artists. No procreate for android. I learned the hard way and had to sell it to buy a used ipad pro 4. And yes, i tried all the procreate alternatives...they dont even come close.
I have s9 ultra is absolutely awesome, especially with the key board case. Use it in college all the time. It's very thin and light and easier to carry than any laptop in the market right now.
I've has my S8 Ultra since it's 2/22 launch.. One of the best things I ever got for my business. I use it in my studio, in the field... it handles everything and integrates fully w/anything at home without flinching and the pen is actually useable!...seriously love it
is it worth investing in if I'm a creative entrepreneur. I do a bit of everything, design, copywriting, editing (writing and video), and I also love researching/learning and taking notes on said research. I've got the phone and watch recently and am loving the integration but a tablet might be the one thing I'm missing. My laptop just doesn't cut it for certain tasks y'know? and phone is too small.
@@sharnimcheyzer585As someone who also owns the S8 Ultra. I would and got it close to the same time that person got it. I would say this is definely worth the investment. I have gotten my money's worth out of it because I use it for everything. If you don't want to pay the price of the s9 Ultra, the previous model the S8 Ultra is cheapers and runs just as great; there are minimumal differences between the two.
@@sharnimcheyzer585from a Samsung user it is really good for multitasking and can be anything for work or for Netflix it just checks all the buttons you won't regret it I promise
I just mistakenly ordered the S8. I will treat myself to this one because I decided I wanted to upgrade to something 14 inches. Thanks for showing it off and I am glad I just subscribed to your channel
@@admiraladmirablyI still don't see your point. It doesn't matter how fast apples processors are. You are hamstrung by restrictive closed source software. The current generation of tablets are on sale and will do more than the average person will even need. Now is a great time to get a tab s9,+,ultra etc. Equivalent priced computers are slower, have less ram etc.
Regarding the 5G comment at the end there - I've preordered the 1tb Tab S9 ultra WITH 5g capability, so can confirm it does have 5g capability, but I'm in the UK. Not sure if it's different elsewhere though. Can't wait to get my hands on this thing!
Hi, you don't need to ask for 5G as it comes with 5G or WiFi only options from the get go, as does every tablet - even iPad and iPad Pro. Not everyone wants / needs mobile internet with their tablet. I am typing this on a Tab S9 Ultra 1TB WiFi. I tether it to my S23 Ultra if I need mobile internet, but mostly use it at home or work where I can access secure WiFi anyway. Love the channel, keep up the good work. Cheers from 🇦🇺 😊
You just made me feel so old. I'm old enough to remember a time when you couldn't just "carry a monitor around." I'm 44, so not really that old... My first computer had a 15-inch (i think) monochrome monitor. It weighed about a much as a small car. Similar size, too. Lol
Had this for months and still love it. They really just killed it in every way with this tablet! It also feels like the perfect size after just a couple days with it.
@@NopityNope that’s hilarious to say, because that thing is literally cheaper than any of my laptops and tablets. Doesn’t change the fact that you overspend for what you get lmao, you look ridiculous holding essentially a laptop screen without a keyboard and a badly optimised OS for any serious tasks. So yeah, continue coping and fanboying if it helps, but stop projecting.
I have the Samsung Galaxy tab s8 ultra and that's the best device I can have. that's so efficient, I can use it as a laptop or a tablet . I use it as a tablet most of the time for my studies
I have a Tab S8 Ultra that I bought used for less than half the price of the Tab S9 Ultra. It's basically in new condition, and is extremely similar to the Tab S9 Ultra, with the same screen size. I love watching shows on it!
They always have been the only thing is that no developer support apps on tablets as they should and that has not changed I have samsung tab s8 plus and apps on it still lag behind the smartphone version
Whew that is a beautiful tablet! I think I would need an active version of this though. I know I can always get a case, but I think Samsung can toughen it up really well. Usability and DeX looks right on point.
Got my first Tab this spring! Got the s8 Ultra as a bundle when i bought the Book3 Ultra. It has changes every aspekt of my creative life. I'm so excited for you!
@@Petterhagen just asking but what do you use it for? like to me a tablet or ipad just doesnt feel like it is of any specific use a computer and phone cant do already
I've enjoyed the s8 ultra as a secondary monitor, and as a drawing tablet on my windows, the latency is rarely detectable on wifi 6 for photoshop, so I'm looking forward to this one!
I got the Tab S8 ultra 5g 512gb of ram, including the keyboard cover 2nd hand for 550.- I can confirm it's a awesome tablet, wouldn't want anything smaller!
I foldable tablet would just be a small tablet that can fold into a large tablet while a foldable phone is a phone that folds into a tiny tablet, I would just buy a tablet which size best suits your preference?
@@DanielHarrisCodesdude this guy is the standard of all the tech channels. Everyone who does tech channels actually watched him to learn and for inspiration. He's like the freaking Yoda of RU-vid tech channels. Look up a video called "How MKBHD ruined tech videos - from quality to copycats"
Basically. Apple pioneered the industry with the original ipad and made it so there wwre a huge amount of well optimised apps, and Samsung made tablets cheap so everyone could use them.
I have the tab 8 ultra... completely changed how I consume media. Take it to the gym and my cardio sessions are awesome now vs trying to watch on the phone....laying on the couch to watch, and when eating on a table away from the TV. Love it so much
You can probably already do this. Samsung supports dex and if you get a proper dock for it, i have one for my phone. You can hook it up to ethernet, keyboard and mouse and have a hdmi out. Basically letting you use a whole ass tv with the device if you wanted. Super easy. Just plug and play.
Since I bought my ipad pro I haven't used my mac book laptop for almost 2 years. The tablets are so light and great and convenient that I do everything on tablet.
@@KABOOM-4053yes I would have loved to have gotten that one back when they had it but the specs weren't that good for gaming and stuff like that so I never got it.
@@MsTiagosk8 hahaha! iPads don't work with my zBook X2 G4 as a second drawing screen. I have a Mac Mini for keyboard based processing and 3D modelling but I wouldn't buy an iPad even if you paid me to.
It's too big in size to be considered "practical" as a foldable and fit in a pocket. If it were, then it would be the first wide production tri or even quad foldable on the market..... But my god would it be thiC and expensive
I literally had my mind set on buying the iPad Pro 12.9" this week. I ended up pivoting last second and went with this bad boy instead. It hasn't even come in yet but I just feel like I made the right choice.
I picked up an S8 Ultra for a really good price, and the one downside to it is... I wish there was an equivalent to Apple's Magic Keyboard. Being able to treat it like a laptop (especially when you consider Samsung's DeX) on any surface is really nice. I used to use those cases with the goofy folding triangles in the past, but I was just never a fan of those. As a side note, I believe a couple companies came out with Magic Keyboard-like devices for the smaller Samsung Tab devices.
@@MisterKhanhHey man, just saw this. My overall impression after using this device for about 3 months is that it's been amazing. Coming from a basic 1080P laptop screen, the biggest jump and reason for purchasing this device was screen quality. As somebody who uses tablets mainly for recreational use, the media streaming has been phenomenal on the AMOLED 16:10 panel. The wider screen gives it more of a mini TV feel than it does tablet. I would go with Apple's software and UI for work related use and even gaming (better GPU chip and porting for games), however if you're just going for a better quality screen for viewing purposes I would go with the Samsung. I know this response is hella late, but I hope you make the right choice for you man
@@shinaikoukaSamsung does have it's own "magic keyboard" product but it's severely overpriced in my opinion at around 300-350$. I opted to just buy a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse for about 70$ instead
That looks beautiful.... I love Samsung products... if they had their own laptops and OS we'd all be switching from Apple. Message integration from phone to laptop is a big feature that's hard for me to part with.
