They are going agaist the very islamic laws they claim to believe. In Islam, both women and men MUST be educated (the first university was made by muslim women in morroco) and respected, there is freedom of speach, there are so many other things (Look at the islamic golden age to get an idea). Its not the Sharia, its the people who use as an excuse for their own rule. Its like me looking at Hondorus or Venezvela and saying that westernization only leads to corruption, gang violence and crime while ignoring all other countries.
