99% of them were born into it. It is the required religion of their country, and they know nothing else. In recent times some who went to Lebanon were able to hear Christianity and get saved. More recently many have immigrated to western countries (8 Mill in US since Obama) and they are able to access the internet freely and look into Christianity but most wont for fear of shirk (while not realizing theyre committing it by following an idol;false god).

Just look up the statistics about how every non-Muslim minority community has been decimated in recent decades. After coexisting for centuries. I don't know what changed but something did. surah 9 verse 29 speaks about killing those who dont pay the jizya, jizya is tax non-mulsims pay Since, they would be living there as citizens of a Muslim state, the protection of their life, property and honor will be the responsibility of the Islamic government and no hindrance will be placed in the observance of their religious duties, And the jizya was less then the zakat the muslims had to pay, So when you think about its a fair deal cuz the non-muslim can live knowing that they are safe sicen the muslim army is protecting them and theycan practise their religion aswell as it cheaper then what the muslims have to pay .

Nineveh was the capital of the Assyrian Empire, infamous for their atrocities.

This is important. It is very good you brought it up. "Christian" means to be someone like Jesus. Jesus blessed people, didn't curse them. Jesus humilliated Himself to save us, and taught us to do the same, He never taught that anyone was superior to others. He was a Jew, so He never went after the people of Israel. On the contrary, He healed them and made good things to them. He was tortured and killed on a cross for our sins, and He certainly forgave those who did that to Him. He never waged war.
