This is because most families are sending their daughters to secular woke educational institutions where all these unrealistic impractical baatil ideologies are promoted which results in most women chasing independence, career, discarding patriarchy, delaying marriage and ultimately being lonely and depressed with her cats. Muslims should focus on raising children in an Islamic environment where they are surrounded with other like minded muslims. Also teaching the children from very early about their roles and responsibilities and a norm for early marriage should be ensured by muslims to make sure their children do not get involved in zina once they hit puberty.

A northern lass ! I’m not surprised she has probs with the Asian lads up there ! They’re players and stupid and the women aren’t too far behind either - generally speaking of course . Now give some credit to her ! It’s hard for us women to adopt purely traditional roles when we’ve worked hard and have established careers . But some of us still try and find a better balance ( not perfect ) by reducing work hours and having wider family do the school run etc if necessary. Given the cost of living etc , there is nothing wrong with actually taking some of the financial burden off the man’s shoulder. Plus which , it’s nice to have less financial dependency on the man whilst we have our health and age on our side ! I wish people on here would stop assuming that attending a secular institution is creating a generation of secular Muslim women ! No ! Actually social media plays a far bigger role because people sit on this bs and Netflix - binge watch and become increasingly desensitised to morally questionable material . Rather than making sweeping statements about women with careers or women who work , we should be looking at the behaviour patterns in our communities and societal pressures / expectations which are placing greater responsibilities on women . Women do shoulder a lot of burden too ! Isn’t it commendable that she works rather than becomes state dependent ? AlhamdoLillah for the blessing of a halal income . Having said this , of course , a woman should be there for her children especially in the formative years and should always prioritise the children over a job or career . Equally , Muslim men should do their side of the bargain because they have a responsibility to teach their children about Islam , and therefore must partake in the tarbiyya of the kids . And , also , there is nothing wrong with the man cooking - it doesn’t make him any less of a man !
