I think 2 things. 1. Luka’s complaining annoys people, which makes people not want to root for him. They downplay his accomplishments just because they don’t really like the way he carries himself on the court. 2. Like you said, Luka makes things look so easy, which makes people not be as impressed. Because he plays slow and methodically a lot of the time, people don’t get as excited or understand how difficult what he’s doing actually is.
