We got back from puerto pollensa last Friday. It was our second time visiting with our two kids. We had a wonderful time it is such a special part of the world and like the woman you spoke to in the blog stated it is a very relaxing place. We stayed at Marhotels Playa Mar and Spa which is a fantastic hotel and the staff are brilliant there.

I'm only here to see some sunshine 🌞 meanwhile in Faversham, currently 12, expected low tonight of 7! Oh, I do envy thee.

Was considering porta pollensa next year but we still love palma nova, the place keeps calling us back, we love it there, and can use bus or taxi to flit about when we feel like it. Must say all of majorca is fabulous ❤ still love the Greek islands mind you.❤

I spent 2 weeks in Porto Pollença with 3 teenagers in August and didn't want to come home! Stunning beaches/views/water, incredibly relaxing and stres free for me and busy enough for the teens. I didn't worry if they ventured out on their own and we also spent time together - a bus to Formentor was four euros - perfect for a day trip, and the waterpark in Alcudia wasn't difficult to get to either. Prices could be a bit steep but I remember explaining to the kids that sometimes you aren't just paying for a meal, you are (happily) paying for your whole experience - a table that's perched at the edge of some of the clearest Mediterranean sea, a cool sea breeze, a stunning Sunset, and a magical atmosphere. And sometimes it's even ok if the food is average! It's the Porto effect - adopt a slower pace, go with the flow and you'll become ensnared in the beauty and the Vibe. I should have mentioned this first but your work and your videos were directly responsible for our chosen holiday. The videos especially are such a gift. Thank you so much Alex. We'll be back and I will keep subscribing and sharing. 💚

You can go to Greece and get free sunbeds and umbrellas all over they just like you to buy a drink from the bar x

We were there on Saturday after the rain further down the beach. We could see the red flags but there was a green flag where we were. We went for a swim and within 10 hrs we were both so ill really ill. I honestly believe it was due to the water quality

I'm just back Alex. PP was fantastic as usual but I noticed a bit of a "whiff" on a few days. I didn't see any red flags on the other side of the resort so may be it was a local problem. Watching this I wish I back. Sorry I missed you. Best wishes, John

We enjoyed pp and stayed pollentia hotel before they had a swimming pool, I enjoyed that it wss quiet at night, but the seas lack of waves mesnt it was like swimming in a mill pond. Alcudia has amazing surf n seas but has been ruined by mass ugly noisy tourism, but if you ignore the main town the beach is amazing compared to pp

Just back from Cyprus Alex, Fig tree bay, Nissi beach, all over - I sunbed €2.50, umbrella €2.50 and that includes a code for free Wi-Fi, like I said months ago as a traveler to Mallorca for many years and totally love the place, I honestly think they are pricing themselves out the market 👍🥲🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We were in Puerto Pollensa in July, as they were bringing out the beach sunbeds and umbrellas. That was the only downside for us as it wasn’t fully opened while we were there, no water sports or pedalos either. Nevertheless we really enjoyed our stay, it’s a beautiful resort.

Staying in sa coma for 2 weeks go home tomorrow 😢 but we had a stay in our happy place pollenca for 3 day, we just love it but unfortunately the price of hotels is so expensive we can only mange a few days but we do not think anywhere in mallorca compares to pollenca, hopefully back next year..

Want to know something else that needs sorting out? The traffic from PN/M into Palma. Miles of not moving traffic all day long. Buses were messed up. Packed like sardines 😢

Half of the lifeguards are college students. They are probably hungover and just left the flags up from the last storm.

Your civic duty to remove the holiday ruining red flags.

Dont drink the water while swimming. Hi Alex..why do all the flags look the same colour. I think they should be different shapes to stop any confusion for people who are colour blind. 😂
