I agree with you completely. This is just taking advantage of their nice personalities, because you know if Alexa Bliss refuses to sign even one autograph, everyone on the internet will hear about it, as that guy will probably whine about it on social media. I think if you happen to cross paths with any celebrity, just count yourself lucky, and if you have the courage and aren't too shy, maybe asking for 1 autograph is ok. There is no need to wait at an airport, I can't believe people do that.
Wrestlers shouldn't sign things if they think it's just for resell (like a stack of flat pack boxes), as it devalues "true" collecter items like ones got from fan events.
Scalpers are the worst, they carry around all this stuff and expect these PEOPLE (who perform 3 to 4 times a week) to sign all this stuff for them to sell on ebay. WWE has meet and greats for this kind of stuff. They sign thousands of Autographs for Panini and Topps cards each year. Undertaker has talked about this before as well. Grown ass men having their child wlak up to him at an airport to get an autograph for them because they are to scared to ask for themselves. If you happen to see these great men and women respect that they are trying to get somewhere so they can get ready to put on the best performance they can for you when they get to whatever show they are headed to.
@@ShibbzzWrasslin it is absolutely wild! So I live opposite Xia Brookside (former NXT UK wrestler) and she said when she got back from Japan and doing Stardom she was legitimately bombarded by people at the airport asking her for autographs and pictures and so on. Now I’m a massive wrestling fan, like to the day I die really, but I also know that human beings don’t like being harassed for anything, the reason why I’ve not asked her for anything like that, I just simply have a convo whenever I see her and her fella walking the dogs, 😂 I’ve bumped into wrestlers that have done UK tours and so on, for example, Clash At The Castle, I was doing some work in Wales and inadvertently bumped into Drew McIntyre, and even he said he “respects the people that just want to have a 10-15 conversation with him about anything as opposed to a quick “can you sign this, can I get a picture please” then they fuck off”
Most major cities only have one airport. San Antonio was probably unfortunate, because there was a LOT of them for the Royal Rumble, and, unless they were able to use the private airport that the Spurs players use, San Antonio International is TINY, so if fans wanted to wait them out, they wouldn’t even need to find the appropriate gate, the pick up for cars or taxis consists of very few doors, and all exits out of a lobby that is VERY small for a international airport.
I reckon the wrestlers should make a rule that they won't sign anything besides a book when out and about. And if they want their merchandise to be signed, then they have to attend an official event to get it signed there. This would then force these people to buy tickets to these wrestling events and in return be rewarded for thier actual support. This would put a stop to these "airport ambushers" and they would be plastered all over the internet should they try to be a dick about respecting this edict between wrestlers and fans. Well that's my perspective anyways.
That's what these meet and greets they always have are for. yet people still Stalk them around and unfortunately i dont think it will ever stop until all the wrestlers just stop signing stuff
I work at glasgow airport in Scotland UK and the amount of wrestlers/celebrities that we see is crazy and it’s good to see them but we never want to startle them We see them get flocked by hundreds of people for signings and photos and you can see they are tiered or annoyed and I think people forget they are human and just want to go from A to B without having the attention they get and I understand people get excited and hyped up seeing them but some people try to push boundaries and it’s sad to watch
man I bet i really feel for these people and the people that Flock around them need to chill and learn that they are PEOPLE not just celebrities or entertainers they are PEOPLEEEE
I once was at a restaurant and the Legion of Doom were sitting in a different area of the restaurant. I didn't go and bother them while they were decompressing and eating their breakfast. You need to respect these wrestlers and give them space. And not crowd them to get 9 autographs of funko boxes.
I stopped asking for autographs if I see them out in public. If they’re nice enough to take a picture I’m happy with it. I bumped into Sasha and bayley at my local mall the afternoon before a house show in town shortly after Sasha’s call up and they brought bayley up to do a house show run against team bad. They were nice enough to take a picture with me
Mmmm here what i dont understand WWE can just hite security guards or just press charges against the fans for stalking. Yes they r famous and all but they r also people who whats space and privacy.
that is true and I like this take but I'm sure they understand that the fans are who pays them so they aren't gonna press charges for that and the whole security thing will bring more attention on them since they have Security around them at all times just my thoughts on that but i agree and disagree a little
Dude these guys are so scummy doing this to the wrestlers I feel so bad for the wrestlers because they always have to deal with these people who stalk them all for autographs just to make money
It is rude. However, my love for Alexia Bliss goes even hire. that was really sweet of her regardless that it was rude of him. People go to a Con for that. sheesh. I would be too uncomfortable to even ask for one. Oh and Ripley too for putting up with that, It was nice of her but again taking advantage of her time is rude. And yes it is weird and it is stalking.
I wish that energy was kept for Mercedes, because I remember her getting a lot of hate for speaking out about fans showing up at the airports. People said she was ungrateful. Now ya'll understand why it's wrong.
l just got done watching this video well that's something you gotta go threw when your famous it's part of the fame that's why you don't walk around with no security around
Let them be annoyed. These fans help keep them rich. Wrestling keeps them from doing a normal job that sucks. So, they can get over it is what i think.
@@Didhewin forced?!?! i do youtube because i love talking about wrestling i’ll give my own opinion whenever i want pipe down. “positive videos” i made a whole video shitting on wrestling theme songs lmao
@@ShibbzzWrasslin yea but not all fans can get second chance to meet their fvrt celebrities so they ask for photograph or autograph so its not big deal.
@@Didhewin Okay first of all I see you don't care about the wrestlers that put their body on the line every week that work their butt off, while you just sit in front of a TV or be one of these freaks that sell this stuff on the internet as profit as the wrestlers get no money from it so stfu
Yeah, because wrestlers sign up to be harassed whenever they : leave their hotel room/house, walk down the street, get a coffee, whatever the case is right? Wrong… I live opposite a former NXT UK wrestler and she says every time she goes somewhere that’s “wrestling hot” she gets bombarded with people wanting signatures and pictures etc.
yes fame comes with being a professional wrestler but "fans" that wait at the airport for 12 hours and stalk them to their hotel rooms are weird and this isnt the "fame" they wanted and these vultures need to respect that they are people as well...
Well you know simply put if you want to be a celebrity this is part of deal and they forget the fans are what pays their salaries for fake wrestling so it's simple to understand if u don't want this then stop being a celebrity and get a real damn job
