The only issue with this blaster is the nasty and loose prime but there's already aftermarket fixes for it. Pretty much the budget standard for pro blasters now. That short dart exclusive mag release needs to be the new standard for blasters that are compatible with both ammo types
The Dictator is so good out of the box. It is so accurate and hits above advertised speeds. I’m working to get my X LongShot as accurate. I am really impressed with Dart Zones out of the box performance though. Edit: I bought two Dictators when Target had them 70% off. Two for $30. If I would’ve bought them before the LongShot, I don’t know if I would’ve bought the LongShot haha
I haven't tried with mine, but others say standard long (Nerf) and Short (talon, katana, Dart Zone, X-shot) magazines fit. So you can just buy whatever is locally available
