Whoever came up with the idea of blending a destination trailer with a 5th wheel is a genius. I'm loving the layout, the color scheme, the two lofts - one can be a work space/storage and the other for sleeping (for adults non-married relatives who share a residence - a larger mattress is appreciated). Can't wait until their available at dealerships.
Under 90k is crazy. This is a full home for a family that isnt super needy. Would love to buy one of these. Would live in this with a kid or two and my two dogs
I really wish that they just added a drop-down patio off of the slider door, like you see on the back of toy haulers. It would just be nice to have it attached to the RV and mobile. And it can certainly be done, as I've seen it on other models, although not super common yet but that would definitely give them an edge and make them stand out even more! Also, the patio would protect those glass doors when going down the road and you're only giving up a couple of inches of room on the inside to make it happen, which wouldn't be a problem on a spacious RV such as this one especially with there being a slide out on the opposite wall across from it. IDK, just an idea..
I like this idea BUT! Some sites have width issues where you wouldnt be able to lower the patio, if due to a tree or a smaller space or due to where hookups are and the angle youre going into the space it may lower onto your neighbours rig. That may be a problem since it has only the one entry and limit where you can stay. But I’m sure we will see that in the future
I always think a half size dishwasher is useful, a skinny under the counter one. The main reason is it gets dishes off the counter which is even more important for a small space. Dishwashers are generally more energy and water efficient than hand washing as well.
I absolutely love the laundry in the bathroom! It's hard to find something that checks all the boxes for full time living for a family of 5. I do wish there was more storage in the kitchen and master bedroom. I could do without the vanity and switch out for more storage space.
Best 5th Wheel I've ever seen. Finally an RV that has broken through the old school design and created a beautiful, updated and unique space. Everything is perfect with the exception of that small master bath, why even have it? Instead put in a large closet. Then it would be perfect. I wonder if there is still time to make that option available?
I really like the half bath, but a closet would be more convenient if you are going to be using this most of the time… There really isn’t enough space for clothes realistically…
I was thinking if I bought this I would have to reno to turn that half bath into a closet... otherwise it's pretty perfect. I dislike the stove but that's personal preference.
I fully agree they could turn this in to a full time floor plan and its dang near perfect. Ditch the 1/2 bath for a closet, turn that 2nd bed next to the bathroom in to an area to use as an office or gaming set up and install an exhaust fan in the main bathroom. Thats about as perfect as you can get for that price.
My husband had sent me a video on this 5th wheel RV/ Destination trailer from another RU-vidr. We are looking at replacing our Montana 5th wheel with a destination trailer with 1-2 Lofts but have not found one that checks off all the boxes. This one is close!!!! I love it but would love to see a few changes. I would love recliners in one section of the sofa and would like a storage ottoman instead of the coffee table. The kitchen is perfect for me. Now since we are getting older I would like regular stairs going up to the second loft and master bedroom area. They could be industrial looking but not spiral like this one shows. I also agree with the bedroom not having enough clothes storage. I would love to see them put a hanging closet along the entire wall that the present one is and get rid of the fireplace or put hidden storage behind TV/fireplace. I would consider this RV if changes were made and price was right!! Thanks for all the video content you provide!!!! I have been following your channel for a few years and love it. Great job at explaining all details. Please update us if you find out price and if changes will be made to this prototype!!! Thanks!
Like a loft condo!! OMG!! 👍🏻 Fantastic with the patio doors. Feels so open. The aesthetics are beautiful. Has a real condo feel. Love the layout and the flow from space to space. Fantastic decor. The colours, kitchen counter, ceiling beams, just gorgeous. TV in every space. Three awesome sleeping areas. Like really awesome sleeping areas! Really nice touches in every space throughout! Just beautiful. Does it have storage for clothes and stuff? Yes, but limited compared to the Brinkley I watched you show us on another video. The storage in that Brinkley and the closet space was amazing. The bathroom is great in this one, and has a side by side washer and dryer, so I can see how you wouldn't necessarily need tons of clothing. Few jackets, dressy stuff, everything else can be folded and put in the wicker baskets. I like this one best. Better than the Brinkley. It just has that high end cozy loft condo feel, and with the wooden deck and awning, a terrific outdoor space. Love this one. ❤
About the bedroom and wardrobe storage.. It's not a problem.. just live humble . Its definitely workable. Amazing job, giving the walk through! This is the way!
We’ve been looking for a full time RV. And this one would be perfect IF the bathroom had a tub instead of just a shower and that 1/2 bath was a walk in closet with drawers on one side and a full size mirror on the other.
There’s plenty of storage for clothes in the bedroom….under bed and by the window seating, plus the bathroom drawers…..and there’s room to put a dishwasher by the coffee nook….this would be perfect for me…..
We want a dishwasher! We want a dishwasher! We want a dishwasher! We want a dishwasher! 😂😂😂😂😂 Seriously, LOVE this one, I'd like to install some retractable privacy for the mid-bunk. Not curtains hehe Those are fairly small updates I could DIY, though. Everything else about this RV is divine and I'm in love.
This RV is really nice! The floor plan is very unique….looks like an upscale apartment. But definitely not an RV for folks with disabilities, or Physical limitations with walking. I know for sure I’d trip over that step up from the bedroom. And those stairs are probably not the easiest or safest to climb or descend from. Now if you’re young and spunky, and all your body parts work, then this is the RV for you! Overall it’s very nice!😊
Can people on disability afford this camper?!!! Or can they operate it?! I really doubt! If someone, who is on disability, can afford it, then they will have a custom built one, tailored to their needs!
@@Julia-Julia Nobody said anything about Disability, please read carefully before commenting. And many people from all walks of life can have physical limitations. Life does not discriminate, it happens to all of us.
Hey Myles, this New Englander has increasingly become a fan of yours the last few years, and watching your informative videos AND your wide array of RVS/styles (e.g. fifth wheels to tiny homes to motorized, etc.) of units is why. Having said that, of the MANY superb RV models your channel has displayed, I think this "Roost43" model takes the cake, IMO. The only things I'd touch up would be a more cushier sleeper sofa vs. what they have in there now. Replace the kitchen's fake wall tile with something lighter and REAL tile. BIG build-out the front deck w/ some wall-to-wall bench seating for many guests. And the only other thing I'd do is to convert the upper storage (w/ swingarm) into the pet's sleep/carry area. Other than that though, this is the best model I've seen when talking about practicality, VERY cost-effective, classy looking, etc. Grand slam home run on this one, dude!
Myles, you need to start checking the headboards especially those with the lighting. The new modern thing is the headboards have outlets. That maybe why they put a sign up because they are hidden at the top of the headboards.
I LOVE this! The loft with the staircase makes it look like a luxe studio. The lighting the color palette is perfection! Great price to be able to change locations to wherever and whenever you want as well. LOVE IT! One thing I'd change is the bed going up to the main, I'd add an office space there, a den vs the bed for those that work on the go too.
I would definitely convert that middle loft into a clothing storage/wardrobe area. Clothes that do not require hanging would go there in bins or some other organizer. The vanity in the master bedroom would be a work desk/office. There is so much potential in this RV, and it's beautiful too. Checks all the boxes for me!
The thing I hate the most, is all of the extra beds/bedding. If I wish to live in this, I'm not hosting slumber parties every weekend. If you're trying to sell to the tiny house community, build for a single or couple. At most, I would have a sleeper sofa for guest.
Too many beds for me as well. In place of one of those extra bedrooms I'd rather have a Jacuzzi tub. 2 toilet set up is nice if i was to live in it, I want to know more about the insulation and ability to boondock. Also many campgrounds have a 40' max length allowance. While this camper is not for me, I'm sure it's ideal for some.
But we won't BUY ANY of them if the quality does not improve. Frams that break, walls that crack, roofs that leak, slides that don;t slide and builders that don't care.
This is a keeper here! I really love the interior colors. The beams make a huge difference, and I love the sectional style sofa. Really love that wood bar counter! I know you've been saying it, Myles, but Im really not a fan of bowl sinks? Other than that, I really like the bathroom. Especially the washer and dryer. One thing I wish they did was put a real pantry in the kitchen instead of a slideout one. Bunk room is cool. That master bedroom is so awesome looking but-- even though they put in that awesome desk area they gyped on closet space. Would like To see a proper closet in there. Thanks for the walk-thru. I want one of these! ❤
I am so grateful for you talking about ceiling height in your videos because I’m almost 6’4 and I never know if I’m going to fit. But thanks to you I know what will work for me. I wish these companies would make door height as tall as possible for tall people like us. It’s ridiculous to have to duck to get thru the 2 bathroom doors when there’s obviously enough ceiling height to go up a few more inches. I too wish it had a dishwasher. I like this RV so much I’ve already put a deposit on it. I can’t wait to finalize the sale when it comes in to my local dealership. I’ll try and modify the door height when I get it and I have a countertop dishwasher that I’ll try and make work. Thanks again for your amazing video, it helped me decide to buy it.
This is the best one I think I have seen in the last few years at least. Sink could be bit bigger ( we like to cook) It looks like it was built for comfort and that is huge! Thanks for sharing!
Shelf in kitchen looks awesome , but storage cupboards would be more practical, how about a fold down deck like in a toy hualer for in front of the slidders , the drawers seemed a bit flimsy and wonder if someway that Livingroom could be sunken and have a step down so that the loft could have a bit more ... yes , definitely a hard ballence to get right ... And could make just a tiny bit more aerodynamic in front so it could be a more towable rather than just a Destination RV
Unpopular opinion it seems but I love the small second loft. For full time living with littles we can gate it off and make it a safe sleeping option and then the bigger loft is just a play space.
I think most of who dont like the 2nd small bed/loft also dont have kids. Of course that space makes sense for anyone with some little ones running around.
If my husbands job was able to be remote we would downsize and live in an rv like this! Us and our daughter would love it. Really functional and well designed!
I LOVE this!! Perfect blend of destination trailer and RV! That seat in the shower is way too high for my height, 5’1”. I’d definitely need more wardrobe storage space!
If you used the second loft for a closet, it would be a great clothing solution. Add an electronic circular hanging wrack for easy use without needing to climb into it.
It has almost everything! It's almost perfect! If I can order one with a dishwasher put in then I'm buying one. Yes wardrobe space in the bedroom is limited, but I'd rather have the desk in there. I can store my clothes under the bed.
I'm so excited about this one! The biggest challenge for our family of four is seating. We like to hang together and watch movies, but we want a long couch and/or sectional vs. movie theater style individual seats. Having a sectional like this allows for snuggling up TOGETHER and this actually feels like a real living room! Absolutely blown away by this one. And I was surprised to see the price so low for all this. Just stunning, thanks Myles for showcasing this!!
Ooooh, and I just saw the lack of clothes storage in the primary bedroom. If we want to make it our full-time residence (which we do!) we'd definitely need more clothes storage there.
They should've put a sofa bed right there. Other than that, I'm ALMOST ashamed to admit that this RV looks like it's bigger than my previous apartment. 😢😢😭
I am looking for a home. This is beautiful! The only drawback I see is not a lot of wardrobe space or cabinet space in the kitchen. But I intend to have a storage building. I wanted a 5th wheel but thought a destination trailer was the only answer. Now I see what I want!
WOW! I love everything about it. I love the long table /kitchen cabinet. The lofts are amazing. I love the vanity in the bedroom. We would use it as a desk.
Hi Myles, What a beautiful RV. I would do away with the half bath, rather have a closet instead. Othet, then that. The RV is gorgeous. I would live in it full time. Thank you for sharing the video 😊
Love the dining/island combo. Not enough bedroom storage for something this size. The fireplace in the room is a bit overkill. Would prefer more drawers. Same with the bed in the hall.
Thank you for this detailed tour!!!! You have no idea how many questions I have and you answered them, thank you! That bathroom is going to be hot with only one vent, they need to add another one and a dishwasher! This is going to appeal to full timers, so they need to put a dishwasher in. This is from someone who is thinking of seriously buying one.
Im in an fairly large camper now as my home...but THIS...THIS IS AMAZING!!! I could absolutely upgrade to this and be very happy!!! 1 question tho...what about a W/D or hookups for them???
Wow! This sure has some character to it! I would definitely get some sunflower and bumble bee and bear decor to go with that bumble bee lighting in the kitchen! :) Is this just a concept model, or is it going into production? It is really nice! Thanks taking the time to properly show us the functionality of this RV. I hardly know what to call it! Oh, and are you sure that dresser top space in the bedroom is just for vanity purposes? Could you use it as a workstation or desk top, or is it too low to fit a regular desk chair? 👸👩💻
It’s beautiful. I love the color scheme and the layout for the most part. Two things, mainly for the bedroom, not enough room to get around the bed. Making that will be a work out. No outlets directly next to the bed and no place for a CPAP machine, if needed. My favorite feature is the living room, finally someone got it right. I do like the kitchen area, eat in area versus a “dining nook”.
Nice RV. Like the layout. Bedroom vanity kind of the thing from the past. For more practicality purposes as your dad questioned where’s the storage for clothes?, I would suggest using the vanity space for clothes storage.
Fix the wardrobe space issue and provide a dishwasher option and this would be PERFECTION. The vanity is the perfect workspace. Laundry set up is the best in the industry in my opinion. I love the living room and the storage in the sofa is a great idea! Well done.
I love the way some RVs are evolving into cutting edge living solutions, the Right way to live! I do still love my 94 Prevost space bus. But I would live in that fifth wheel! Very nice!
When I think RVing I think being gone traveling for a long time so for me storage space inside is king. This is a beautiful RV but for me I would rather have more practical storage even if it meant less beautiful features.
very classy! i love the way the square windows look, doesn't look so Rv like. This is my favorite color flooring! I'm so spoiled no by that loft I saw with the foot drop down and a table. I hope these go on clearance for under $40k haha.
The rv is freaking amazing, it’s definitely has plenty of space storage especially for a couple. Now if u had a whole family absolutely not enough storage
I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely love living in this as a tiny home. I will be checking out where in my area that it might be available. I would hope pricing is favorable for me as a senior. My only other thoughts are one could take the lower sleeping area in hall and convert to hang more clothes if needed and cover with curtain or sliding panels. Thanks again Debbie
❤LOVING this new layout. My only concerns are the storage overall with full-time living. Kitchen and bedrooms.. Thank you for thinking outside the box designers and engineers 🎉
RV meets tiny home.. yeah I've been saying this to somebody I know for a long time that this should happen.... Destination trailers finally got real smart
I love the residential interior with "wood" counter & trim harmonizing with the black appliances, chairs & stairs. It's my favorite interior... but more bedroom storage is needed if full time. I also wish one sofa would pull out for a single bed. Also I'm uncomfortable with the roof being slanted toward the slide-outs if it rains. Wondering if that will cause damage or problems with the slide-out toppers.
Overall, I say wow! That doesn’t mean that some things don’t bug me, though. Your Dad is right - the master bedroom storage is pitiful! The vanity is a really nice touch - I truly love it - but getting the basics, like storage, right first should be the priority. The living room is really awesome…. I love the “clubby” ambiance. The kitchen, again, doesn’t have enough storage, BUT, that island is darn near perfection! If there had been space for a dishwasher, it would have gone from 97% to 100%! That countertop makes it feel like you are sitting at a proper table! The two lofts are inspired! When our kids were young, this would have been the perfect layout as we had a girl and then two boys. Having them separated -as in this layout - would have been sooooo nice! 😂 I’m still trying to decide how I feel about the main bathroom. I would have preferred that it be the half bath and laundry room and used the shower space to have it in the ensuite. I understand why it was planned this way, but as empty-nester soon-to-be full timers, we want a full ensuite bathroom. While it doesn’t suit our needs now, that doesn’t stop me from appreciating the thoughtfulness of a lot of the touches, however, I just wish they had the basics sorted first. The visuals of this rig, though, are a solid 100%.
Stunning rig!! That said, the shower should be fully waterproofed. The insert is too short for the space and lowering the showerhead will not stop the over sprayer or splashes.
Love this more than any I've seen that would fit my famjam. I saw this one in another post and it was said the sofa is a prototype they had to use to have it ready in time for the show. And that it's a pullout bed. But I guess we don't know for sure until u see the final product
Superb! But yeah my first thought in the bedroom was it could use more drawer or cabinet storage. I would’ve much preferred storage cabinets above the bed rather than those silly windows. I actually do not think windows are good in that exact location, period, regardless of whether they took the place of storage or not. But it’s especially a bad design choice since they could’ve opted for more storage space instead - plus, little bedside shelves for like water, a book, reading glasses, tissues, etc. could’ve been put there.
Dam, I do believe you just found my home . In the bedroom yo eliminate the two side windows for more storage would be great. You can still keep the middle section for a vanity. I was taken back by the master bath without a shower, but that is a easy adjustment. I LOVE THIS RV. Now i just need some land to park it on.❤❤❤❤
Love this trailer!! I agree with the bench in the shower being way too high. I don’t mind the in floor heating but who comes up with the placement 😂. I can just imagine coming into the kitchen and stepping on that grate with bare feet. Moving it to in front of the sink area more would have been so much better.
It's beautiful and inner functional for long time living for sure! Realistically, I'm curious on the possibility of an entry adjustment. 5th wheels are designed to be more easily and often moved than a destination trailer. Not everyone can find a way to have a deck readily available where they choose to make camp. Some type of collapsible or underbuilt step option could fully knock this out of the park if it wants to compete with the 5th wheel travel compatability.
LOVE LOVE LOVE😍🔥 Best 5th ever! I love it. Even with an outdoor shower! Can I customize interiors? I love couch.. would be nice to make it into a bed somehow.
Love it though I would appreciate versatility in design. Like the kitchen and living room could be combined in that space and then a master bedroom could be where the living room is now. Looking out those sliding glass windows seeing nature while sitting on the couch is a must. How about indoor assessable storage under the floor. Versatile ceing height in the living room/main floor bedroom for shorter people that would like more space in the loft to use an office, yoga room or whatever else. I think that offering versatile options in this model would be key.
I'd remove the tv and fire in the bedroom to put wardrobes across the whole space. I'd also get rid of the spare bunk bed to use that for storage, outside table and chairs, towels, toys etc could be stacked there instead of the bed. Apart from that it's gorgeous.
Wonderful RV overall. The biggest issue for us would be there are no shelves next to the master bed so no place for hubby to put a CPAP machine next to the bed. I also wonder how hard it would be to haul something like that.
