Ahh yes, just another casual night of watching Ash destroy bases while talking about the unbalances of Clash at one in the morning. Way better than sleep tbh.
Builder base needs competition the most. So people can learn many strategies and can make game fun. Clan war or clan war league would be nice in builder base.
One of the biggest problems with BB is the massive upgrade times, alll the defences take 2 weeks to per upgrade at bh 9/10. As for player skill level, the ones stuck are often not maxed and thus always lose more defences or they simply don’t utilise the ability to switch their armies (especially the reinforcement camps). The way I would solve both these problems is 1) double the clock tower boost and 2) lock the clock tower boost behind a daily custom base challenge similar to the base of the north that you made except you can switch up your armies. They could also make it so the challenges are bh 6/7 at the start of the week and progress to bh 10 though-out the week to give people a range of practice.
The only reason builder base would be hard is that people are underleveled/rushed. I have no problem 3 starring, I maxed my cannon carts and baby dragons. I have the bob builder done and I’m only now unlocking pekkas. The only hard part is that my base is hard stuck 3000s. I just gain no trophies cuz my base is underleveled. And only maxed out bases I have trouble with because my machines aren’t max level. I don’t mind so much because farming full elixir at 2200-2500 trophies only takes about 30 minutes. And I can always just push back up to 3k and farm gold there. You will all rue the day I become a maxed out builder hall base player
Maybe you could introduce a random element at say 5.5k-6k where you no longer choose your own army. Both players are given the same army to attack, that would really sort out the truly skilled from the people who spam OP strats and understand the mechanics to be successful.
Nah that's like giving playing mirror clash royale mode and u both get graveyard but one has archer tower and the other has a cannoner My point here the lucky one is gonna win not the skillful one like one might get an easy base while the other gets a base that counters him
Another great video. But to your discussion, they will always favor the 99% over the 1%. And since I’m part of the 99%, I’m actually enjoying builder base for the first time since it launched. And the day they adjust the game for content creators is the day the game dies. Happens all the time in big game titles.
It may seem 'easy' and 'boring' to you but you've got to look at others also. You can't just go screaming and complaining nerf this nerf that. There are lots and majority probably who find this bb just right. It's all about enjoying the bb and have fun. Let just normal players have some fun.

he already said it, the problem is it only requires very small skill to achieve and utilise the braindead strategy called "pekka & dropship". It's easy because people who's not even that good in the game can literally decimated other players "like a pro" without even having great skill
I thought of a "solution": add +5% or 10% trophies for each different troop you used, so if you use only pekkas and dropships you get 200%, you win 55 trophies istead of 50. If you use minions barbs cannoncarts and pekkas, you get 65 trophies for 200%
make the a new tower level with a power spike that you can only get if you are maxed up to that point. that way the lower level players get easy bases and the high level players get hard ones
Well the problem here for low trophy player such as myself (5100) is that of the troop and hero lvl. On certain bases i only get 2 stars cause of the lvl of the hero. Even if i use the same startegy as top lvl players the part played by a max lvl hero and the destruction it causes in the base by taking the key defenses cannot be done by a 15/20 lvl hero. Like in the case of your second attack my battle copter would have died before taking the xbow so i would have to opt for other stategy and sometimes because of bombs and traps that fails, most of the time cause of time fail. As a F2P it takes a lot of time in upgrading the heros and troops and the main focus of coc is in main base (as it has legend league, cwl, wars, etc) making me use all the resources (books, hammer, raid medals, etc) on the main base.
The thing about it being easy also depends on progression. Yes people stuck in 5000 fail at stage one, but they have lvl 20 heroes and lvl 18 troops. It becomes easy when youre maxed, most people, i presume, are not maxed.
I think part of why there are a ton of 6 stars at the top is because people run the same base over and over again. If there were more base builders then there would be less 6 stars at the top
It sounds like the way to fix builder base is just to give more defenses or higher defense levels so the top players have more of a challenge while the lower level players are unchanged
@@sipiersx5948 I was meaning in greater detail, what he looks for in terms of defence placement before deciding on troops exactly. Like what he already does but in greater detail so casuals like me can try and emulate it and hopefully get past 5200 trophies lol
Thought about it a bit more. If the builder base is ALREADY hard for most people, then what’s the harm in making it any harder. It would more or less be the same for those that suck. And if they did care about the builder base. They wouldn’t suck for long. I think it’s mostly early builder base progression is the problem
maybe they don't need a nerf tho, i'm a BH8 at 4400 and most of my opponents are noob BH10s who just spam down pekkas, mostly two-starring or barely making it to the second stage
It just needs balance changes man. Bring Brawl Stars/CR balance team even for few months. BB will become soo much fun. It will be like a "daily puzzle" like wordle. also, needs a "little" ore in the star bonus, that'll make the mode serious
I like wayching your videos man but grinding bh is so boring, i'm bh5 and always have to attack people who are at least one bh above mine, sometimes i even have to attack some people with level 7,8,9 bh and it's just impossible to get even 1 star. It's so frustrating to have to attack people who have way stronger bases than mine, i think imma just stop playing this and focus on my village even tho higher bh seems fun to play. Maybe they should allow us to use ressources of the real village to upgrade stuff in the builder village ? I think it would a great way to upgrade the bh without having to farm stars against people with high level bases at lower trophies.

Can you give this idea to supercell: The idea is whenever you face higher BH levels the game gives you an extra trophy based on the percentage that you got. This trophy not counting as main trophy system and does not reduce the opponent trophy means if i 6 star bh10 as bh9 i get 50 and he also get 50 but game give me extra 10 or 20 because i was 1 bh level lower but he gets 0. The win win situation is when you get 30 and he get 50 now he is +20 and you are -5 for example. The system could be also based on opponent troops level, defense weight and .... This idea need to be polished. But as results now devs can make game harder and also balance average players gameplay. Also the problem is about not having proper rewards. In clan capital you can gain medals that is really useful for example buying 3 research potions make 7 days 10 days in laboratory. Wich is constant in every week. Also clan wars and clan war league is so much rewarding now with th16 update and ore loot system. But bh is nothing to offer. Just a 6th builder and done. And sometimes helping with clan games. This is why people rushing so much in it and in 2 out of 10 matches for me i always face bh10 playes with one troop max and level 1 base. A level 7 bh can 6 star but thay also 6 star you. Thats so annoying considering we cant defend at all no matter what layout be used. Can defend level 20 peka with level 7 or 8 base.
Thanks for leaking our dms 🤣, btw I built a few bases that are very strong against dropships (like your current base that you told everyone to copy LOL), that is why everyone stole them. This is also an issue. Half of the top players wouldn’t have the level to get a top 1000 if skill was required to get a good top. Maybe that is arrogant but that is true : you have people like SeaSickShrimp, daniel, Sscion, Ltnull or me on one side : the guys who can get a top 10 whenever they want (even a top 5 actually). And then you have players like Peter or LuckyCajun who are top players only because of stupid unskilled spam, inflation and base stealing. First it is unfair : you build bases, and people use them against you, so you are playing against yourself. Builder base is too easy, and that allows players with absolutely no skills to be high, it makes it unfair for the ones who play crazy strategies. The problem is the whole trophy system, base stealing, and also the fact that Supercell does nothing for us, we ask for dropships’ nerf for months now and still nothing for instance. 4:40 A large part of this comes down to hero and troop level. Top players invested in max level heroes and troops forever ago. I think the solution comes down to making the max level troops all viable so you get a variety of solutions, then make traps absolutely devastating, giving defense a chance.
I hate using Cannon Carts. Call me whatever you want but I find it the most annoying thing to do in any game I play and I’m tryna beat Fatalis rn. If they got rid of Cannon Carts I would be happy to play more Builder Hall. Will they do that ever? NO!
