I still own my AirLabs 24X memory cards, which have a display showing which of the 24 memory cards you are currently using. I have no idea how people survived with only one or two regular memory cards back then.
As a kid with a small allowance I had no choice but to delete save files of games I expected not to play anymore. Easy to do if you didn't know any better :)
I knew you didn't NEED one for each game, but some games that I really really loved on the PS1 I just decided deserved their own memory cards. It made it easier too, used a label maker, slapped that one title on it. Figured out a way to store each jewel case with their memory card.
That's exactly what I did too with the label maker! I'm pretty sure that I quickly figured out that you didn't need one per game, but that was probably after I already had three or four of them haha!
So I never knew that in crash bandicoot ps1 you just needed to have oogla oogla to just walk over those boxes at the end of level 1 and I was always jumping them without oogla falling to my death. Thanks to you Ik now how to do it easier . 😅 you got a sub & like for that .
I'm always happy to teach people new Crash Bandicoot tricks! I also love that you call him Oogla Oogla 😅 I've never heard that before! Thanks for the like and sub!
Awesome product, already got mine! But I think it should be mentioned that the quality of the plastic shell is really cheap. It's slightly warped and has sharp edges that don't close in line very well, which I find kinda sad for the price - regardless of it's amazing and currently one of a kind features.
hi would that work if i have my pc still connected to my home wifi because i am just wondering because i want to get the GCN version of the Memcard pro
One video dude says 8mb at time? Or can you set bigger memory card sizes? I may just buy another card if it's just 8mb at time. Got the max 64mb one long time ago. also got a 128mb one but it doesn't work very good.
This isn't true, you can't save PS1 data to a PS2 memory card even when you're using a PS2. I actually just double checked it just to be absolutely certain!
@@RetroDodo I'm probably having a Mandela moment then. I'm sure I remember having PS1 saved data on my PS2 memory card somehow back then. Could it be that I can freely transfer over PS1 data via the on system memory card management? Maybe that's how they got on there?
I don't even think it's possible to transfer it via the PS2 browser either 😅 maybe if you have some kind of weird third party memory card it might have been possible somehow, but with official hardware I'm almost certain that it's not possible.
There's some good and bad advantages to this, the good is that you're saving a lot of space, the bad is there some games cannot actually be moved from one memory card to another I know I tried that you would have to repast some games in order to save it
