This New Pokémon is Impossible to Catch 

Honestly, Niantic should realize that Pokémon Go is their biggest success and has the most potential out of all of their projects. They need to refocus their efforts on what this community wants and how to make the game more accessible while still making the experience rewarding for everyone. They should really consider solely developing for Pokémon Go and stop trying to recreate the magic of this game with a different IP, it will just never be as good imo

The fun part is they are losing money by not letting us do as many remote raids as possible

As I remember Niantic said that the bigger spawn radius was too much too handle for new players, why don’t they put the bigger radius for lvl 31 and higher and keep the small radius for lvl 30 and lower!? That way advanced players won’t get too “destabilize“ lol

Thanks for this video. I am glad you are saying exactly how you feel and I can see so many people not enjoying this game like before. The radius expansion spawns was so awesome it made it so much better for a player that dont have time to walk around looking for pokemons “especially when its not in an area with alot of pokestops”. Suddenly I saw pokemon spawn in areas which I never even thought of going to in 6years. Long story short…..If Niantic want to make more profit then they should listen to the community and stop with limitations and huge markups. Spending so much money on remote raid passes now feels like they are robbing us but before at the much lower price we would spend the same or even more because it felt like value for money. Instantly increasing sales as the community felt it was there money worth. Thanks for your videos and keep up the amazing work.

You are no different from the people that unfortunately got let go from Niantic , not only is Niantic screwing over the playerbase but the people who actively work to promote their game to new players and people who make content for active players. Yeah man, you, JTGilly and JTValor always seem so positive. When, in reality, I’m sure everyone was pissed as soon as Niantic FORCED an update to remove the larger radius. But as mad as I and everyone else are about it, you guys remain positive. You guys literally keep me playing the game.

The game LITERALLY JUST NOW forced me to install the latest update. Goodbye to spawns across the street, hello to more disappointment towards Niantic… Turtonator is cool though.

For the spawn radius, I'm pretty sure they realized it wasn't working with the autocatchers and pulled back. They will probably release it back with the new autocatcher to make all the other catchers useless so everyone buy the new one.

Thanks for this update! I usually can’t do too many raids but today, I headed out and walked around the city and completed a Turtonator raid. Luckily I got a shiny on my first raid, I hope you’ve got yours by now 😁😁

I love how they increased the spawns around you but I wish they would make this shiny hunt a little easier by making it spawn in the wild with a 5% spawn chance that would make it a lil easier

I've quit shiny hunting because they are so hard to find and I'm just focusing on getting dex entries it's just easier to just get what I need in the dex instead of shiny hunting and it's worked out quite nicely I'm occasionally finding random shinys in the wild sometimes they're even shinys I didn't have and I'm also finding shinys that have had a community day but so far not actively shiny hunting has been good to me hopefully you get shiny Turtonator and I hope everyone else who wants it can get it

It's funny watching this late, because this is happening right now with the Lunar New Year event and Drampa. Except the win 3 raids task is diluted with 2 other Pokemon! Also my theory with the increased radius spawn is that they were loading the Palkia effects into the game by testing the spawn radius, but didn't intend to make it live.

Also gotta remember to if you only have 5 poke stops in your town you might not even get those event tasks

I wouldn’t necessarily say that turtonator is paywalled. Most people are capable of soloing tier 1 raids, that is how I’ve been getting my checks. If you have gyms in your area, go out there and do those raids if you have some premium passes to use.

I think the people with money to burn will enable Niantic to continue their greedy ways and people without the availability to throw away 5 Remote Raid Passes a day will continue to be disregarded and neglected.. 😢

Hey! I caught a shadow Hundo mewtwo during the event and just caught a shadow hundo articuno! I am so happy that I got so lucky during these raids, I aint on any social media platforms so here is pretty much the only place I can share this

They could save the game by reversing the remote cost raise and limit to how many you can do. It was fun being able to access pokemon that you cant get here in rural areas

the win three raids research honestly caused me some problems, i was doing raids for other research quests and once i got the research quest of win 3 raids i had used up all but 2 of my raid passes, i used my last 2 at 4pm so i had to wait until there were raids i could do solo which i ended up having to wait until 2pm the next day, it truly isn't the best research quest requirement for the encounter

Some interesting points raised here. It’s becoming more obvious (if it wasn’t already) that Niantic are profit first. Niantic is a business and this game is their product that they sell. As a business owner I’m always trying to reach new customers along with retaining our good existing ones. By not listening to the community (customer) Niantic are trying to push a product tailored to themselves (for their profit) without supplying what the customer wants and needs you ultimately end up loosing customers. In my opinion this will only go downhill for them. I hope for the sake of the game and all the people who play that this doesn’t happen and that they sort themselves out as a company.

Bro now that I think about it, that’s y the re released some of the most wanted Pokémon and exclusive Pokémon back to the game like shadow mewtwo and other shadow legendaries and shiny mew in the shop

Honestly, had the most fun with the game when they were giving out remote raid passes during COVID. Its a lot of fun to raid with friends and other players but it's just not feasible to do it regularly in person. I'm a casual player so the 200 per remote raid pass makes it horrible value to buy just for a chance at a good mon. I'd honestly rather have the extra bag space.

The "glitch" was so good. I was shocked to see it, but my god it was nice to have more spawns available on my house. I hope it's something they revert back. If they want people to go out more they should make it better too

I come back for the occasional pokemon go youtube video on this channel. And while it gives me some motivation to get back into pokemon go, it has become a running theme of the sentence " its definitely a frustrating time yo be a pokemon go player right now" being used.

For giggles I did get a shiny Sudowoodo when that update went live, and I had fun playing as there were Staraptors and Explouds spawning outside the radius, and then it was reverted. No longer did I see any rare spawns outside of a daily incense, but now I kinda want to wait until Go Fest to play. It’s not the same anymore. I hope Niantic at least do something positive to counteract this negative change.

I have a photo that proves that Necrozma will be in Pokemon go but I don't know how to upload it, but in one of the cups that pokemon go had I looked at eligible pokemon and scrolled down to see a giant blob covering where an eligible pokemon would be with the title Necrozma underneath

Every time the game releases something that is remotely hard to do every RU-vidr hates on it, raids aren’t meant to be something u can do 20 a day of, the game would run out of Pokémon to release if everyone could get every shiny the first time it releases to raids, then when a Pokémon is in raids for the second time everyone would complain about how they already have the shiny and don’t wanna do raids. There really isn’t much more content for Pokemon go to release stop hating on them for trying to slow down the game by making it harder.

In my opinion Niantic is turning down the path that rockstar games talk with GTA five to milk the cash cow

I think the glitch was niantic field testing their new auto catcher, that would allow their auto catcher to catch up to 80m, but not other auto catchers. Cornering the market on auto catchers I walked with my gotcha evolve, during the glitch and noticed it could only catch up to 40 m.

Long time viewer, first time commenter. I managed to grind 90, yes 90 Turtonator encounters (mostly from the field research) and a whopping 0 were shiny. I felt so deflated, especially seeing others that I raided with getting the shiny - but I was happy for them. That said, the rates were terribly low and I do hope for another chance to get it in the future, albeit not through having to do so many raids!

Cant be about maximizing profits if there is a hard limit on remote passes. They will probably revert the expanded spawn radius.

What continues to baffle me is that Niantic’s “customers” WANT TO give Niantic money & are telling them EXACTLY what they want to give them money for, but Niantic insists on trying to tell their “customers” what they want to get money from them for.. like that’s not how it works, you either give your customers a product they want to spend their money on or they will go somewhere else, & they are.

As a seasonal player I'll pop in and out every summer, it's really depressing, I come back to the game expecting it to be like when I first picked it up in 2019 and I'm finally trying to be a full time player, but I constantly hear about the bad way Niantic is taking the game and everything with raid passes, I don't even have raiders in my area anymore, it makes me sad, I didn't experience the golden time during the pandemic, during 21-22 I was fully offline, so I don't know what it was like having the passes and then the price jack up, but i can see the remnants, it makes me wanna put down the game, I don't wanna support this because of my ignorance, just because never got to see the affects of the changes, but the spawn increase did hurt, I loved it, I could actually have a lure on my pokestop!! And it was really cool to see so many pokemon i even got a shiny snubbull off it!!! but, now it's gone and every pokemon that's outside my white ring flees when tapped and I have a glitch where pokemon will still be visible until the fog covers them

They just don't want us to get this Shiny very easily - I think they tweaked the spawn mechanics again, maybe they don't spawn out as far but they seem to stick around more the further you move away from them

Remember when Niantic told us all to go online and find trainers from around the world for gifts then did absolutely F***ING NOTHING WITH IT??? I have almost 100 lucky friends from around the globe and now I can barely raid with them.

I honestly think Niantic was making more money with the remote raids being 100 pokecoins for one and 300 for 3 than they are now because more people were spending money on the cheaper raid passes. I was one of those people because I started playing Pokémon go seriously late last year and was spending a lot on remote raids I did over 60 Giratina raids within a few days and spent so much on remote raid passes. But now I don’t because they are so expensive. To make the remote raids more viable to get they should make the time a Pokémon spends defending a gym more. Right now it’s 50 pokecoins if it stays in for 8 hours. If it stays for like a day and a half it should be 100.

Honestly, Niantic should just put all their resources into PoGo. I'm no CEO, but i don't think they'll ever reach the level of success with any other project.

I think that by doing these things like allowing only one remote raid pass per day, decreasing pokemon encounters they are just making only there loss since this is leading to more players leaving this game.

Niantic wants people to only play casually. They are making it very hard to find shinies or perfects unless you grind BT91 levels.

Just like PokeAk said Niantic takes forever to fix bugs that hurts the game but when it's a bug actually benefits the players they fix it faster than you can snap your fingers

Even worse, it's hard to even find the stupid turtle raid. I checked Campfire a while ago and there were 2 turtle raids in my city. Tons of worthless 1 and 3 star shadow raids that nobody does... and no turtles.

God, Niantic constantly dropping massive failures of updates all year long, saying they see community feedback but don't care about it because it goes against their "mission," and then dropping more than 200 of their employees is such a massive red flag. I feel for the Niantic employees that are really just victims of these insane higher ups that just care about nothing but their mission and how much money it can make them

Has anybody else also lost pokecoins from the store even tho you haven’t bought anything? I recently bought 2600 poke coins and saved about 600 of them… Then when I woke up the day after, all the coins that I had bought was gone and I haven’t bought anything with them.🤦‍♂️😭

As I sit here and watch this video, I had a look in my local area for turt raids… 0, however there is 7 shadow articuno, 3 mega sableye, 1 heatran, 3 flareon, 2marowak… the spawning rates are just bad. I’ve had 2 opportunities for turt, no other times have I seen it spawn.

They FOR SURE forgot to turn on the fire and dark grunts boost. Or it's like a 10% boost. I've done about 12 grunts today across my city and not a single one dark or fire grunt lol

I’m hoping you might be able to pass this on to Niantic .I’ll say it again, Niantic is going against all successful business models by not listening to their consumers. It feels like they started a company and said “ Here is what we do and there will be no changes to that model no matter what happens in the world and no matter what customers want.” A sure way for a business to fail is to shut their eyes and ears to evolution and adaptation. What are we all saying ? 1) Make the game more accessible to everyone by brining back the better remote raid features. You can still have some special in person features like increased shiny rates in person , in person only special or costume Pokémon. Rural,disabled players spend money too. We are important. And there are many players without local friends or teams who actually found community through remote play during covid. Friends were made and that made the game fun for many single players. Niantic was making more $ and more people were playing during covid lockdowns. 2) stop putting all the fun stuff behind pay walls. People will spend more money if the price for each experience is lower. I would be more likely to spend $1.00 ten times for 10 experiences rather than pay $10 for 4 experiences. For me, I probably would not spend that $10 with Pokémon Go at all. To keep the game going you have to make it less stressful financially. I’ll play longer and be more devoted if I don’t have to rationalize spending too much on my hobby. Younger players are more likely to start playing using free features. On that note : 3) Your players are aging. In my little group of friends we are all between the ages of 30 to 60s . Players in their 30s and up have more money than youngsters. AND We have jobs and families and responsibilities. Playing remotely is the only way many people can enjoy the game. I’m playing in my car when I’m picking up the kids from band practice. My friend (online only ) plays on his lunch break. Another friend plays while waiting for the bus .Older people don’t always have time for (or want to ) set up a Pokémon meeting with a group of people. It’s impossible. If you want us to teach our kids to love the game, you have to let us play on our own schedule.

Got a Shiny Heatran on the first raid,caught on the first ball. Caught a Shiny Turtonator on 2nd Raid and Another Shiny Turtonator on 4th raid,so this Event has been great

I believe that the badges on the pokestops are for the xxs and xxl pokemon contest...

the markings on the nearby screen is because you need those for the collection challenge

no, you dont get any Turtonator from the research. at least hes easy to solo
