Great deck, lately it has been working wonders for the consistency and flexibility it has. Recently I switched my NR knight deck for it. As for Priscilla in Hubert's card, yes, she's there I think because of the quest in TW3 lol
@@platinumpatrol2964 Spoiler Alert: He commits a series of murders, Kills Artists in the Name of the Sacred Flame with formaldehyde. If you dont Play correctly though you wont find Out its him, because the Game wants you to believe Pastodi is the Culprit.
@@nnzmrgnbgnNow that I think about it, were any hints at the true culprit besides what Pastodi says if you choose the right dialogue choice? Or did Hubert do everything without leaving a single hint? I can't recall. Also, any idea why Hubert, of all people, who's also a vampire, would be interested in the Eternal Fire and the decadence of Novigrad?
@@thehunter5896 No there are no clues. You have to let Pastodi Talk. Why Hubert would be an eternal fire fanatic i dont know, i think it has to do with the amount of corruption and decadence in Novigrad.
Hi, is it possibly to play a “Lara Dorren” deck? I have been using her with “Arachas Swarm” and “Tatterwing” recently and had a blast. Wonder what your take would be on her.
I think that's the only way to play her. Frost doesn't go wide enough to consistently get enough value and other decks don't work well with adding the Frost. I've tried to play non-Tatterwing Arachas swarm with her in the past and it didn't work out.
You don't have to, but the threshold of 4/5 damage on Radovid: Judgement can be pretty important so I like to make sure it's 5. Since you want him to come out at the end of Round 3 most of the time as well it's improving your finisher. It also depends on the matchup. Against NG and Pirates I don't expect to be able to get the order off if I don't leader it. In other matchups it's a lot safer to play Radovid and hope the order goes off.
Hey there, I'm new here. I was wondering if you could recommend a decklist that is fairly strong but also not overly complicated to play, I mostly want to relax and not think too much and have some nice games before bed. Not looking for anything completely brain dead but I guess also not looking for NR list 😂 I was thinking symbiosis or frost but other recommendations are welcome, cheers.
You can do that if you want. There's not as many orders in other decks with the Arbalaster and Archer, but there might be enough for Onager to be good.
It's a shame that the other NR decks aren't nearly as good. The buffs to Alumni did help but that's such a one-dimensional deck in really suffers against the amount of control around and I'm still annoyed by the reversion to the Griffin Witcher adept. I'd still like to see Blue Stripes come back since that's such a classic NR deck. Commando to 5 power is something I'd like to try.
@@platinumpatrol2964 oh yeah I enjoyed the buff and I actually thought they were bringing back NR mages, cause mages is such a unique deck in gwent and the entire witcher universe! Magic and witchers is what witcher is about would make sense to make them more playable. But you are 100 correct the control eat them alive! Oh man don't even remember when I Las saw a blue stripe deck! Or even played against Vernon blue stripe?
@@DennisJeppesen Mages have the issue a few decks have where they need certain cards to live otherwise the deck just doesn't work. When those type of cards are too strong the decks are oppressive, and it feels like you can't do anything against them. When they're too weak it feels bad to play them since the setup doesn't feel like it works. It's really hard to balance decks/cards like that. The nerf to Donmir so that you can't AA him really hurts Mages too. Honestly, I think the bigger issue for Mages (and heavy engine decks in general) is the amount of control it's now standard to play in decks. Unless engine decks have tempo plays or set up multiple engines a turn (like this one or all the GN decks) I've found it's hard to get them to work nowadays.
@@platinumpatrol2964 I wish you were wrong but sadly not. What could be done for the mages was give the ban ard student 6 power so they have a much more fair chance of staying alive. If it isn't for Leticia I can't get keep them alive to more than max 3 in patience. It takes awhile for that patience to pay off and until then you just have some small 4 power units looking afraid on the board. I will never get in board with the horrible nerf to defenders! They have and should always just be 9 so they fit in a GN deck now we are just gonna see much less defenders and less GN decks and we are already missing so many good old decks. I get SK defender because sukrus and the self heal but just nerf that single one then. Like you said yourself too many Control engines if you can't drop multiple cards or massive point drops you don't stand a chance. It's just not gwent anymore we couldn't control BC and we never should have gotten the option.
But the damage is done and I don't see any way gwent can crawl out of this deep pit its in. We have lost so many players! I have checked everywhere It looks like I am the last guy in Denmark playing gwent and we used to have a community with over a hundred members. When people saw the horrible votes and that it isn't a democracy in BC but controlled by a few streamers the leader of the group in Denmark just shut it down and now it takes me 15-20 minutes to find a match 😕 but I've been here since the beginning so I hope we will get back on track! It doesn't take much. people like you are doing a big difference!
