I paid my student loan off at the end of my 3rd year as a nurse cause I did travel my 3rd year for 9months-but....maybe next time a 'click to enter to win' 5 minutes with u guys as a career coach? just a thought-thanks for ur content🥳
I’m graduating as an FNP in October and I’m so stressed right now considering what exactly to do with my new degree 😂 love these kinds of videos of nurses trying different things
Awesome informative interview--forward this to my fellow travel nurses! Love Vivian! Use it all the time, currently I'm an independent contractor, but I'll probably go back with travel company late this year---taxes as an independent/temporary worker with a hospital is Baaaad lol--miss the stipends. Thanks again!
Thank you! I agree. I don't ever come across nurses who leave the bedside and think as outside the box as Rachel did when she used a freelancing website to her advantage.
I absolutely LOVE all of your videos. They have been sooo incredibly helpful. I am currently an LVN living in SoCal. I am applying to several LVN to RN programs. Because of your videos my husband and I will be moving to Northern CA after I finish school. Living in CA is expensive but living in SoCal with 7 kids is HARD!!! I have looked into both Kaiser and UC Davis cohorts. I have tried looking on both UC Davis and Kaiser websites to try and look into retirement plans. Would you say that Kaiser pays more upfront but UC Davis has a better retirement plan if you plan on staying for the long haul??? Thank you again for all of your hard work. I finally feel like me and my family are going to be able to live a decent life after we move to Northern CA. This channel is a blessing ❤😊
The pay difference is so large with Kaiser that money invested now with current income will far outweigh money earned through the pension at UC Davis. And the pension at Kaiser is also one of the better pensions around-especially when you consider the fact that the more you earn, the higher your pension payout will be.
She didn’t say her hourly pay for all the jobs. That was a huge question. Wishing nurses were more transparent about pay it would help everyone receive fair pay and not be low balled. She only mentioned her 1st job pay which was $27, I’m sure it went up over the years
