This beautiful spaniel is Dotty and she was a bit of a challenge to groom because she was very shaky.
This is how I groomed her and did the best I could. With old and special needed dogs it’s important to take your time to ensure they’re comfortable throughout.

Little darling! Had a cocker live to 14 years old, could barely see his last few years but still wanted to play with his ball. Miss him lots!

what a well behaved spanial, wish mine was good like that. You might loose a finger if you try to brush her :( I am told the golden age, is 2 years old thats when they suddenly become more settled, waiting for 2 years it is then.

She did so well! And ahh that’s a shame, maybe try a different sort of brush or just brushing/stroking her with your hands so she gets used to the sensation and gently try different brushes 😊
