Well then he must have done a good job with the instruments because they always sounded incredible. I was a Foghat fan in the Seventies and went to quite a few of their shows in the Southern California area. One of my favorite venues was the San Bernardino Swing Auditorium. It should have been named The San Bernardino Hearing Loss Auditorium. But I loved it. I have to say there were always a lot of really totally drunk people at these concerts.

I'm with you on this, I used to be a great fan of No Life Shaq, but he began playing only Hip-Hop, and Rap.... In the beginning when he first started out, he was broadening his horizon, but then he got STUCK!!! It's unfortunate because I really enjoyed his outlook on different music genres, and his great personality. I remember dancing to this song in a nightclub in Sarasota, Florida on July 3/4th. The following morning got up and went to Tampa Bay Stadium for the 1976 Bi-Centennial 4th of July concert with Loggins and Messina, Fleetwood Mac, and the Eagles. Now that was a great day! This song has continued to be one of my favorites. Oh yeah, my divorce became final that day as well. As I said a great day.

This is the ending song to the movie “Dazed and Confused”. Driving in a convertible at dawn, (after an all-nighter) through the Texas Hill Country. Heaven. You can’t get any better than that. This was Matthew McConaughey’s first movie. From the edgy avant-garde director Richard Linklater- both of them from Austin. That’s where I live. It came out in ‘91. Ya gotta watch this. It’s considered a classic! Music throughout. Oh and yeah, it’s about what you think it is.

Saw Foghat with Blue Oyster Cult...great concert!! Love me some Foghat. We were yelling "Slow Ride" from the beginning (we were pretty trashed lol) ...pretty soon we heard everyone around yelling "Slow Ride"....That is when the singer Dave Peverett said (in an English accent ) "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I F'ing hear ya"...then tore into Slow Ride. They have some great blues tunes...but some other good rockers are "I Just wanna make love to you" and "Fool for the City". A great beautiful ballad id "Third time Lucky".

I like that you’re doing some of the older stuff. This is the kind of music that grew up listening to. Foghat, AC/DC,Skynyrd,Blackfoot, the outlaws’Black Sabbath and many more it was a awesome time for music

Unfortunately the only original member left is the drummer. Lonesome Dave has been gone for 20 years. With out him and the slide guitar player and bass player it's just not the same. Great memories
