I really appreciated the first few minutes where you gave a quick synopsis of you getting used to the game. I think that was very informative, concise, and well presented. And the T-posing bad guy gave a good laugh too. Every video you put out just hooks me more and more.
Yeah, I’ve never seen anyone do that before. Pretty freaking awesome if you ask me. Too many times we would have had to watch for a whole hour for all that info. Don’t get me wrong, it can be entertaining but I love the option of quickly deciding if a game might be for me or not. And those few minutes did just that. Bravo!
My adult kids and I play Valheim a couple times a month to stay connected, and I have to agree this feels similar but faster and less grindy. I think Vein will be a likely candidate for my solo play though(my daughters don't want to fight zombies, so 7d2d and Vein won't make family night). Love your videos in general and your prospective on Enshrouded. Thanks!
Some friends and I played the demo and we loved it! We were able to get to the end of the demo in about four hours but in doing so we skipped a LOT of content since you only get six hours on the demo (I believe it was six hours IIRC) so we didn’t get into the building aspect past a rudimentary shack. We all played Valheim so when we played Enshrouded we found it as a huge step up and we’re all going to buy the full game when it is released. I am the builder of the group and from the short amount of time I played with the building dynamic I was in love! It’s got a lot of potential and I can’t wait to get into it further! Consequently, I also died from that booby trap. lol Thanks for the great content!
i really hope the devs turn this game into the type i been looking for, where you build up a town with workers and you can train your companions to defend your town etc, looks awesome massive potential
I've been looking forward to Enshrouded so much - Voxel based land destruction and building is something that I love, and they have found a good compromise with the Ark/Icarus/Valheim building method.
Great video! My wife (and I) love Valheim and have been looking for more games to play. This definitely looks like it'll fit the bill when it comes out.
Combat feels like Kingdoms of Amalur. It would be fun to have open character class paths like KoA. I'm also excited to try out the co-op multiplayer, to see how that works.
Yeah, we didn't really get to see any of that. Looked like he got a skill point when he took out that plant and cleared the area, but I don't think he used it. Personally I'm exited about the characters. He got that blacksmith guy right away, but I bet there are lot of characters like him we can collect and have around our base, that sems super cool, reminds a little bit of Skies of Arcadia. So much more fun to build big bases when you can populate them with people. Gets me really excited to play this.
Highly impressive. Downloading the demo now and adding it to my wishlist. I do hope they make the day cycles a bit more realistic but its solid so far.
Keep doing what you do I’ve been watching you for three hours now and bro you explain and do everything and it helps ssooooo much esp when I haven’t played the game and now I want the games !!!!
Thanks Tem! This game looks great. I like that it's voxel, too. And lots of things that go "boom". I also like how you were able to find decent loot early on, swords, and axes. The other game would've given you some crappy leather knuckle wraps. 🙃
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of things that are in this demo are slowed down when the game launches. Things like cooking, the day/night cycle, crafting etc. It's only 8 hours you get to try the demo. They want you to be able to try a bunch of different things in a short amount of time so that you can see what it's about. I played it a bit and that's the feeling I got.
Great job on incorporating feedback into your video editing. At first I was worried you were going to montage the whole game. 😂 great format/editing the video as a whole!
Yes, I love Valheim. Enshrouded looks like I'll really love it also, with a lot of the same balance of things - go get yourself into all kinds of trouble when you want, but you can also hang out at home and build awesome things to your heart's content? Assuming you've got the relevant resources, of course.
The building mechanics in this game is insane. During demo, I tried building my own house but I wasn't satisfied. So I took over an existing building and made it home.
I played around with the demo a bit last night and am very much enjoying it so far. You hit the nail on the head, because I got the exact same "faster paced Valheim" vibes from it.
Hey Tem just wanted to say that you got me hooked on that time travel game you Did A while back called Grand Empire Time Travel Survival Game That game is just amazing
The thing you said about you not know when it was almost daylight because there was no smooth transition between night and day I think they planned it. It's a way the devs can post launch go in and fix it easily and boost their games reviews. It's devious and smart!
I have been watching your Ark Ascended videos, which I have greatly enjoyed. I am looking forward to this games release and hopefully you will be making videos on it so I can enjoy those too. Cant wait to try this game out.
Lovely video as always mate. Looking surprisingly polished! I just got back into Valheim with my son, albeit it I find it superrr slow. This looks a little more fast paced and something I think I'd find more enjoyment with.
I started to play the game today , and i really like it. Im a Valheim player myself. And needed a new game :) Tnx for the video .. Greetings from Norway
Looking forward to more gameplay! This vid brought me to your channel and hope for more of this game if possible, looking into your other vids currently
I got a very "Fable meets Valheim" vibe from this game. Between the character models and animation style, plus of course there is the building...can see lots of hours lost in doing that.
Ensrouded has that element of destructible environments which made me love minecraft. Also why I love 7 days to die which feels alot like a minecraft cousin, at least to me.
The game looks fun to pickup it does raise my motivation to pickup survival crafting games again. I do wish the voxel-based part is more similar to 7 days rather than the limited terraforming Valheim had. Combat is a plus if it's reactionary like Grounded or souls games then I'm truly sold at least if we go by from your showcase. I do like reactionary combat more, it gets the blood pumping. It's pretty good to switch between relaxing base building, resource gathering and challenging fights that requires learning patterns.
I'm looking for new friends that would like to play this game with me! Please leave a comment with your username or just shoot me a message with your info! Thanks guys, looking forward to playing this DAY ONE! (:
Definitely going to be playing this, looks super cool. Going to wait until it has a proper release though, don't really do demos or early access or any of that anymore.
Have you considered trying ark ascended when it comes out soon? I’d love to see you give that survival game a shot. Could help boost your viewership too, the first ark was really popular for a while. I’ll watch anything you do either way lol, I love your content!
It's nice to see what the game is supposed to look like 😂 I was getting 30fps on my old dog. Quick tip. Bandages give you a health tick over time, might be worth checking to see what the total heal amount is before using loads of them. Also, you can lock on to enemies and switch targets. Can't remember what the buttons are though. Check your bindings. More Enshrouded vids when it comes to Early Access?
The building in this game reminds me a lot of the building in Conan Exiles. The game also looks like it could be fun, hopefully we get a longer demo or maybe a beta or something to play around with.
Quick question are you an Engineer because your way of Building is really mind blowing and I can't even imagine the amount of skill and thinking you do before building
Will there be PVP combat in this game? Making bases with a team/clan and protect it from enemy teams/clans? Attacking and raiding enemy bases? Or can you only fight AI shroud enemies?
I only wish the character customization was a little better, I fully believe they’ll fix how easy the mobs are but other then that this game will be huge
I got some real Fable meets Dark Souls vibes when it comes to the combat. Very interested to check this one out. Seems like my potato can run it too, which is a bonus. I really wanted to play Icarus, but the requirements are just too high, unfortunately. Nice little showcase Tem, thanks!
It looks fun and really responsive. I can see it being an early version in some parts but its obvious graphical things they will fix. The only concern I have is that it looks like you walk through any combat with a breeze. Maybe its still just the start, but was there any risk at all?
I feel like this videotitle should be something like "I just spent 100 MINUTES PLAYING ENSHROUDED AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED". That is the commentary style of those videos right? like a diary entry, really boiled down to basically over-narrate what you see. I dont like it, but those videos are super popular, maybe youll have success with it. good luck tem! youd definetly deserve some viral videos by now :)
? what ? not that im aware of. can you name one? ive been watching pretty much every video for the last year and neither any 7days series nor any other "new game- excursions" were narrated using this style of a continuous past tense "hey look what happened, then i did that, and then that happened..." @@missy-tk
Ngl I wish Baldurs gate 3 took this aspect of combat and such, kind of like their dark alliance series, but this looks good and may be something I get into after I get all my fill of bg3 lol
@@SamuelGreenRoad2Recovery My favorite mod is Undead Legacy by Subquake. Super cool concept of introducing mutant scorpions that are supposed to reduce the zombie population that end up become irradiated and grow to giant size! Better vehicle choices with way more options to wandering horde sizes and weapon choices. The crafting is more in-depth as are the quests. I've got almost 8,000 hours invested in the 7D2D game that only cost me $25 7 years ago, Lol 😜👍
To enjoy this I'd have to intentionally hamstring myself. No glider, no fast travel, no using building to bypass things. intentionally not stunlocking enemies or using certain weapons like the wands.... It's got way to many issues. I hope it's better on release.
Seems your doing well GNS, diversity is much needed later on in a creators channel. 7 days to die is such a good game with so many ways to play, but I think its healthy to salt n pepper other games in as you grow.
