the trees dont give a ton but they also only take like 6 seconds to chop down and are pretty plentiful, free, and train your strength skill, also clearing all the woods around your base is pretty essential if you dont like getting snuck up on constantly

when i get cut or scratched i immediately go to the medical menu where it shows stats and cures..., ill use cleaning wipe, elastic if scratches or small cut and trauma bandage or compression bandage... Than i rush to a sink and wash up fast as possible. ill also use cannabis and take an antibiotic just in case. maybe a shot of whisky... Seems to always work for me doing it that way, even with massive deep wounds.... When i get sick, ill take antibiotics, and basically just eat, sleep and clean myself as needed, in front of a movie preferrably.. Wont leave where im at till i start to get better... ... Watch ur body temp too and i even take a shot or 2 of whisky but always cannabis, antibiotics in between food and sleep. I was sick and was certain i was going to die because it got so high up and took about 4 days or so till it started to get better... i think i even took a dewormer med and possibly animal antibiotics too.... i got so close to dying but then i just snapped out of it... theres not really anything marked fto cure the sickness. basically trial and error... i got over a few illnesses already and made it alive from some nasty infected wounds too..... ALSO, if you make shelves and storage crates in a walk in freezer, you can keep meat and other items frozen

The assisted living, building that is boarded up. Zombrin, "cure" is there. Ammo and gun cases. Haven't had to try the zombrin yet so don't know if it really works. Car lot strangely enough usually has a good supply of ammo and bunch of magazines are there. In my game I got a black lambo buuuttt I don't dare fix it or try to move it. Those running zombies will total it. lol

A couple of things… not only can you shoot zombies from the car, you can turn around and reach the trunk from inside so you can sort in safety. Also Kage, you should check under the items for the maintenance costs. That will tell you how many items it will pull from your UC every 60 mins. You are going to need a lot of scrap to cover those walls. Also, many will be too far away from the UC to be maintained which means they will decay.

When looting a house, make sure you dismantle the boarded up windows. They can provide some good loot.

I've found that if you're in the vehicle and have a Z run up on you, move to the other seat (Driver to Passenger, or vice-versa) and then get out. This puts the vehicle between you and the Z and gives you that extra few seconds to pull out your weapon of choice without getting immediately attacked.

Find and bring a generator for when the Power runs out.

You need to put up wooden windows and door on the first floor. Also close ur bedroom door when you go to sleep at night as a safty measure.. GameEdge had a zombie break his glass on the door and one spawned in his house at night.

Great vid!. I agree that the current building items are heavy on resources. The yellow highlight is the range of the UC. You just have to be inside that circle to build and use resources from the UC. Also, Loot will respawn, not sure on the timing. But new loot will show up. Cheers!!

It's the bodies, and the game also has a serious memory leak. I have to restart it about every hour or so because it gradually starts running horribly.

You forgot to destroy the rest of the zombies. Like whenever you unalive the zombies and loot them, you must also destroy or erase them. It must become part of your way, habit, ritual, routine, etc. Don't unalive them then leeeeeeave😦

Hey Kage, hope you read this, I've noticed when you break down cupboards and such that still have stuff in them, it will automatically add those to your inventory as well. (Keep an eye out on the middle top screen widget, it happened as well, when you took apart one of the kitchen cupboard the first round)

I am not sure if you’ve considered it but another possibility to what may be causing lag for you may also be the amount of loot in your base. I know I’m Dayz when you have a large amount of loot stored in containers it causes lag and this game may have that same issue.

Not dollies, the area of the UC needs to be bigger.

Not sure if you are aware but all cabinets and boxes respawn items! But not if you destroy them!

Perhaps add a toolbelt which can hold 2 power and 4 non-power tools...

The lag is could be from being cpu bound as the devs have spoke about how cpu taxing the zombies spawning is getting rid of the bodies is probably the best thing to do

Just some food for thought. We are the same age have you ever thought about doing a vintage lineup. I used to play yhis game back in the day called soul river i believe. You had to kill your brothers for Powers to get to certain parts of the game you had a spirit realm and physical realm. Anyway never got to finish the game. There are thousands of vintage games we for some reason or another didn't get to finish. Im going long sorry just a thought for is old heads. Iv been watching you for almost 10 years and remember your bagel days heck iv seen some videos before you got married. Congratulations on the move thanks for staying classy and always entertaining.

What would make it better is if you got a tool bag for a tool bar and a holster to add that to the tool bar also

You can dismantle the wood log and good wood scrap and planks. Way easier than driving around everywhere. It's crazy these beta testers don't even try and get deep into the game

you'd think the devs would bump the performance issues to the top. It's dumb that the core gameplay (ZOMBIES) causes lag.

I don't know why the developer leaves the corpse around and doesn't despawn them after say 30 seconds.

My benches didn't disappear but the TVs I moved did. I'm gonna try again.

''lagg'' is happening only from 6am to 7am,sunrise have some weird fps problems.You dont have to restart your game,its only in that time

They really need to make Z corpses despawn after a while or as you said let us destroy them right away.

Idk if it's because I started with high scavenging, but I have sooooooooo many bullets. I unload every mag I find. There is an m4 in the game and I really want it. So far I have only found 5he pistols, an smg and and m1 grand . Also please test moving a TV in a video.

So ive noticed if i destroy stuff before looting i get the loot anyway. Guess if not pucky you could just destroy and loot simultaneously. 😊

You CAN shoot from in the vehicle, just need to take the weapon out

1 more thing, I thought I was getting the contents of what I destroy. I checked. But then today, I searched something then destroyed it and noticed I got scrap but not the bandage that was in there.

Lag is often the result of too many spawned objects that the game has to remember.
