This is what happens when you educate your children from young, Quite normal. Most parents limit and hinder their children's development without even knowing it, but is how society has conditioned us
@alyssam8550
@alyssam8550 3 месяца назад
@@magiccheeksI mean zero disrespect, but this isn't true, and the reason to point out that it isn't true is that it can make parents feel bad that their baby isn't this advanced. I work with a lot of infants and toddlers, and while parenting does have some to do with the outcome, so much of it is just the individual timeline of the child. Franki's videos got popular BECAUSE she was very advanced for her age. I have never worked with an 11 month old who knows the alphabet, or any toddlers with the level of vocabulary she had as a toddler. Babies and toddlers are biologically wired to reach milestones at different times. It's important and great to educate babies! But no parent should go into parenthood expecting this from their baby. The truth is that the age infants reach milestones has very little to do with their outcomes as they grow up.

Mmhmm. People don't realize how important it is to talk to your baby even if they're cooling and making little baby noises it's important to act as if they are talking to you so that any noise that they make with their mouth is considered language. That's how you build language and learning skills with them at a really young age. But some kids are just built for the verbal learning and some kids are built for the physical learning easier. My 8-month-old is already cruising he's about a month or two ahead of schedule and that's fine where his brother and his sister were actually either on time or behind schedule but my daughter talked very early. All the kids are going to show different skills at different times. This kiddo here is very good at language though and it shows that her parents talk to her properly because she got so far at such a young age. They deserve high fives. There are too many parents that don't get their kids to attention they need and then they fall behind on certain things.

Try to pronounce them very clearly and maybe in the same intonation! And as I said, use an upbeat, excited sing-songy voice! Doesn’t have to be completely exaggerated, just you know, like you talk to little kids but with the correct words and grammar! And most importantly: Focus on creating a close loving bond to your child and a safe warm environment for them to grow up in so they can develop a secure attachment style! While I do agree with your comment, I do want to add that all babies develop on their own timeline. Just because another child this age may not be able to do these things doesn't mean their parents were any less loving, caring or spent less time teaching them. My oldest child never did baby talk when he was learning to say words and was speaking clearly and in sentences at a year old. Everyone would say he was an old soul trapped in a baby's body. My youngest child didn't speak his first word until right before his 7th birthday though. At age 9 he still is learning to speak words and has limited communication due to being Autistic. I didn't love him or care for him any less. I talked to him constantly and tried teaching him everything I could. He did things on his timeline though which is okay and it doesn't make me any less of a parent. I know you weren't implying this but for parents like me that have children that speak later than others, it can often feel like people just assume you weren't a good, loving, or caring parent.

This child is rather being forced to perform. She's being praised/rewarded/'loved' for her performance. It says nothing about how happy or how loved she really is, she's simply doing what's expected of her. We have to be mindful of the dynamic at play. I personally feel like babys/children shouldn't be loved on the basis/condition of how good their performance is. She's aware of the expectations of adults, but she might grow up UNAWARE of her own needs.

Explains why I’m a screw up. My parents thought it was acceptable to let me “cry it out” as a baby. They’ve both admitted it to me and suggested I do it with my own daughter but I don’t think people realize how damaging that is. That’s what causes abandonment issues and gives you a complex where you think every time you ask for help you’re a burden. Quite frankly, it’s neglect and ignoring your baby’s needs. Babies don’t cry for nothing, there’s always a reason. Sometimes they just need attention to reaffirm that they’re loved.

So the doctor was talking to me to call me down and he said to me you know they hear every word you say they hear it don’t say anything bad a lot! And I’m pretty sure if you’re nervous and upset. This creates a nervous baby because my daughter when she was born was you know one of those kids that screams a lot. At the time my husband was not being a true husband, and I was a nervous wreck with her too. I swear she must’ve felt my nervousness and fear because she she cried a lot was very uptight had a lot of colic forever, and I feel like it was because I was carrying her through what I was going through and somehow she got it. The third child was so calm and so sweet and so adorable. Well, they were all adorable, but she was the quiet one, and that must be because at that time I was calm and happy and secure, what I told her when she was about four was she was going to have to help me take care of your sister and she did. She would go and order food for us at the McDonald’s because my daughter, the older one was too timid and afraid, and the youngest one always was there for her older sister, now the older sister is the wild warm for wild women for Borneo! Let's face it. Children are not that advanced at that age. Gifted.
@meggriffin4802
@meggriffin4802 3 месяца назад
They are if you make all the effort to communicate with the at every opportunity like an adult and constantly push learning through play. My daughter was classed as advanced for her age but I simply spent every moment I could speaking to her reading and playing without a tv on without an iPad without tech in the way.
@emmaselander2160

@@meggriffin4802 It also depends a lot on genes though. A baby with lesser cognitive or social functions won't be able to do this as early no matter how much you practice.

Absolutely precious!! I understand your joy! My son (now 53) spoke at 4 months old and answered questions such as I would ask him, "how many toes do you have, "and he would say, "10! "As I changed his diaper. Lol. He wrote on the wall with a purple crayon (favorite color at 8 months old) "J, Joe (his father), Jet," to our amazement! He read at 11 months old, and read the New York Times fluently by the time he was 14 months old. These amazing babies give us some extra joy, but all children are awesome! ❤😊❤
