The OSTs labeled 'Contingency Contract' (shortened to CC) are a series of events mainly meant to challenge the player over the usual side story events. There are 12 CCs, with two new ones that are technically rebooted CCs or something like that. Operation Blade is the main theme of Contingency Contract 2 by the way. Also the reason why it sounds like a villain's theme is probably because the entire theme is directed on a specific enemy that appears in the event called the Red Avenger, who has a special ability to set their blade on fire, hence the chorus. Not sure if you have reacted to the other contingency contracts, but here are all of them in order: 1. Operation Pyrite 2. Operation Blade 3. Operation Cinder 4. Operation Lead Seal 5. Glad to see you're back to Arknights! As always, here are some more recommendations: 愚夜密函 - You mentioned Persona while listening to Operation Deepness. You'll like this if you like Persona. It's from the Arknights "Ambience Synthesia" concert, which is held every year, this one being from last year's showing. 狼之主 (Wlfmster) - Funky bassline, swingy rhythm, and a pretty insane drop. 锦绣山河 - The boss theme for an upcoming event in global servers. Definitely the most "OST" sounding out of the bunch. Traditional Chinese instuments with hints of metal. Special: Renegade and Arsonist - these are two themes for the same character, Arsonist being her theme for a bit later in the story. They both have REALLY good rap in them, and if you react to them, I'd highly recommend doing it in one video so you can compare the two.

When I say I acended when I heard his voice I'm not joking... one of the best rappers I've ever heard from an anime type game/show and I may check out his other stuff if he has anything :)
Next OST's I would like to recommend would be from Made In Abyss, it probably has the most phenomenal and consistent soundtrack in anime and the show itself is also an absolute masterpiece The 3 best in my opinion are: - Hanazeve Caradhina - Transcendence and Hanazeve - Pathway (on par with Requiem of silence in terms of emotion imo) If you like them, those would be the ones I recommend - Counterpoint of abyss - Belaf's lullaby - Capital of the unreturned - Tomorrow - The First Layer - VOH - Underground river (would also be top 5) They're almost all composed by Kevin Penkin, he spent over 3 years on the soundtrack It also won Crunchyroll best score awards of 2018, back when it wasn't totally a popularity contest Anyway, that's all I'll say for now tho, I'm talking too much

Oh man, you have no idea what's coming! Earlier CC songs were great, but the later you go, the better they get! And season 2 has been great so far, the song #1 of season 2 is soo, soo good!
I've got a feeling that would be the case. I need to make sure in the future I know what songs are newer and which are older! Have I reacted to any of the season2 songs yet (I sound stupid asking that 😂) if not ill get on that right away!!

@@bigsokwardsomething to know about Arknights is that everytime they release a new event/song, you can expect great quality. On the front of music, you can always expect them to deliver. 😂 No wonder we jokingly say that Hypergryph is a music company pretending to be a game company. (on a side note I've seen a comment recommanding you listen to Bluish Light because of the vocals (you totally should ❤), will point out that it's sung by Xueran Chen, who also sings the Operation Blade theme you just listened to)
