What about a video on skin prep for different foundation formulas? A lot of times a foundation other people like won’t work for me and then I’ll change my sunscreen and it will look beautiful but I don’t understand the science of why.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the cooler Fleurtatious alternative! And thank you for explaining the color theory of leaning a toward purple to compensate for olive undertones, it's made blush shopping a lot less frustrating.
um single shimmer eyshadow question (i don’t think you’ve answered this but maybe you have oops i’ll go look) VB mink vs UD lithium. they look so similar to me in swatches 😅
A foundation face swatch would be fun, but I'm not sure it would be as valuable as your eyeshadow, lip and blush color face swatches. Some important components about foundation (other than color) is how it it applies, does it oxidize, what coverage level it provides and how it wears over time. Not sure how swatches could reflect that unless you divided your face into sections and applied a different foundation to each section. Then, do checkins throughout the day, but you'd have to do it on a day when you hanging out at home, so you wouldn't be walking around town looking like a crazy person. 😂 Speaking of walking around looking like a crazy person, I would love to see you and Hannah do a video together showing how undertone completely changes the look of a product. For example, on the right side of your faces you both apply all the makeup in tones that Hannah looks good in. On the left side, you both would apply all the makeup colors that look good on you. You both would look crazy but it might be a fun afternoon while drinking wine and eating chocolate. 😊 I love you "This or That" comparisons because you cover all the different factors that make a product unique. 💜
You are the color theory queen, I would love to see a round up of all your favorite skin native products but for different undertones, warm, cool, muted, olive, etc. and i cant wait for a foundation and tint round up video!
These are my favourite kind of videos from you lovely so helpful when purchasing 😊 This is embarrassing 😂 but I have to tell, I had a dream you were one of my besties and I travelled to America for a visit and got lost 😂😂 It was soooo so real, I found you in the end lol funniest dream very random and woke up like where's Kackie??😂😂 ❤ Thank you for all your efforts as always 🙏 love from Australia 🦘🌏
Foundations yes! There are so many coming out. I would be interested in addressing the issue of what your skin needs vs finish. Since I also have (very) dry skin, the assumption is glowy formulas. But, I do not like a "glowy" or shiny foundations. Not only am I not a fan of the look of that finish for my aging skin.. but many brands appear "glowy" but are just as drying as others. It drives me crazy! Most reviews do not address the difference :)
Thank you! I asked for Shock Choc v. Stora Dolls and feel so much better not having that (admittedly adorable) quad now. I actually tried on the outer half of the lid with Hourglass Smoke on the inside last week, and it ruled. Also can I plz send you a little empty magnetized gold palette for your Sephora shadows? It’s stressing me out seeing you futz with that terrible plastic casing.
When I first got the Prada I liked it but felt hmmmm not sure about the hype....BUT....after using it more, it is definitely moving up in my list of top foundations....i.wore it yesterday and my skin looked great all day....even after the gym!! I really want to try the ysl quads but I want a slightly warmer version of the one you showed lol....cool tones look very muddy on me...
I use the Westman Atalier as a full coverage foundation similar to how Gucci herself wears it as well as shown on her instagram account , as we both have rosacea. It can be done. I use a Natasha Denona primer underneath it and it lasts all day.
Okay, so for the foundation video... I'm very curious about the Dior Forever Glow (I think that's the name) vs. the Armani Luminous silk. Luminous silk has been my go-to event foundation, but Alanna Davison wore the Dior on her wedding day instead of the armani, so Im intrigued about the differences.
Can you review the new shades of the Well People bronzer? The lightest shade looks pretty close to the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze, and I would love an alternative without the highlighter I don’t use 😅 love your this or that series!
i’m still truly upset that i never stood a chance to get the products i wanted from your collection, and it sucks even more that it won’t be restocked. 🥺🥺🥺
There are just way too many good foundations out there now! I have the Fenty and WA sticks and I agree that they are different…I reach for the Fenty one more for an everyday look because it feels absolutely weightless whereas the WA has a much “heavier” feel and dewy finish. That said, if I need some coverage under my eyes, nothing works quite like WA II which brightens and covers really really well. When I don’t want to pack a bunch of makeup, I pack the WA crew…the foundation stick, biscuit (eyes and cheeks) and the Parla Lit Up stick, which is what I expected the Chanel Dragee to be, but it just looked awful under my eyes…too warm and pink for me whereas the Parla just keeps everything nice and hydrated.
Oooh oooh! What does Hannah’s favorite lippie look like compared to the Candy Glaze and the Rabannelovebalm? I don’t remember the name of the shade, but I think it’s Gucci? The really muted brown gray one? Is that really similar or is it too dark?
I bought the Prada foundation as soon as it was available on the Prada website and it is just the best! I have never been a foundation person until this one! Also the this or that I was curious about, Prequel SPF vs. Kosas Dream Beam
Not Kackie, but they said no. They ate working on hex codes though, so if you sign up for Finding Ferdinand emails you'll get notice when the hex code is released. 😊
I just started wearing it again and a small huggie hoop has been my reentry and I also found a looooong chain necklace that has something meaningful to me hanging on it 💚
Earrings are a great place to start! Depending on your style and what will show with your hair or headcover- studs, small dangles, hoops, or huggies are all good choices.
Kackie- what’s the skin condition you have? Someone just told me skin dryness symptoms that sounded like yours but their dermatologist didn’t even mention anything other than eczema. So I wanted to tell her so she can ask her Dr. Please and thank you
