#eskay #overwatch #overwatch2 Thank you for watching! Reminder I stream every day at / eskay so if you enjoyed this content come hang out :D Channel Edited/Managed by @DerkDurski
Let’s be real. Are you truly an Overwatch player if you don’t let the game negatively affect your mental or physical health at some point or another? Lmao
Bruh I was going through a divorce that was absolutely destroying my mental health, and what did I decide to do? "Oh I'm gonna jump on Overwatch and play comp." 😂 Lmao talk about making my mental health crash down in more flames! 💀
@@gghostedd_ Looking back, it was definitely not the right idea for the state of mind I was in around that time. But in the end, I got through it all. 😃 But thank you ❤️
1 thing i noticed very early on was that the OW community is a lot like a family especially w the content creators, in some games you'll see collabs here & there but here its basically normal, its something iv rly fell in love with
Eskay's story reminds me of when I was playing with a friend, he was on healer, and I was on DPS, and our tank started being transphobic to me on Ilios, so my buddy went Lifeweaver and I went Mei and we just bullied the fuck out of him all game. Only time I've ever thrown a game on purpose
i would say nice, but you played mei. so actually it's more appropriate to say... ice. wait hold on i think i messed up the delivery of the joke, can i get a second chance
Regarding Healslutting discussion at 15:20- the concept of Healslutting actually predates Overwatch and was a thing in Team Fortress 2 going way back. The girl would pick Medic and the guy would pick Heavy/Soldier/Demoman. The concept was readily applied to Overwatch since most players would rather role play as a hot blonde swiss woman and not a disgraced german physician.
Half the questions are about sexual stuff or raging. But im too asexual and too chill for that. Though i did get into a VC argument with someone once and do get frustrated from terrible games at times. Got 34, but already barely. I have exactly 10 gold Weapons to my knowledge, and im probably below 100$ still, but checked it anyway, because i probably would if i didnt win half my BPs. Also i roast Friends all the time when they walk in alone after i tell them to not do so. Some more than others, depending on how notorious they do it.
It feels so weird to see young adults, but they're the same age as me. And it wasn't too long ago when we were 16 or so, playing a game when it came out. So crazy.
15:25 I totally ran into one of these duos today 😭 didn’t hear any of the talk thank god but our mercy would not leave our widow’s side and would die with her every time, healed none of us and I was pharah for christs sake 😭 we lost so hard bc of them and this has to be what was happening lol widow was also spamming the “let them eat cake” line the whole game so I knew something was up 😂
Eskay... Caffeine is a drug. Jussayin. Painfully hard to actually quit once you're dependent on it. No joke, I made an account called StarLord... and in a game just after ow2 started, I had a star-lord on the enemy team... and a PeterQuill on my team. I'm almost positive is was on Illios. I've never had an experience like that before or since. But it was pretty cool.
im ashamed to say that ive done coke before and while it was fun at parties and such, the most fun i had with it was playing widow with no game sound and music as loud as possible. dont do coke tho it can ruin ur life very quickly and u do not have control despite what u tell urself
couldnt find an ow pro who did but there was a legue pro who did (yaharong, cant find anything abt him going to jail tho, only that he was arrested), she mightve mixed him up with ow pro fr3e who went to jail for a year for rwording a minor
@@SwUwUn ohh yeahh maybe? he did a lotttt of things and a year ago he did armed robbery but im not sure if hes still in jail (hopefully hes found help, he clearly needed it)
omfg, i started the video, paused and went to the site to do it myself and i thought surely a OW streamer will have a higher number than me 5 minutes later: see, i only have 54! thats less than half! after the video: FUCK.
Love you Eskay, but it's not cool to ghost someone. I know a lot of people do and it's normalized. But honestly if you were just honest and told him what's up that would have probably been a lot better. For some people, ghosting/ignoring can really fuck with their mental. And if he doesn't respect your feelings and tries to contact you after you've told him that, then that's a good cause for a block. Anyways, no one is perfect. I just really don't agree with ghosting unless they did something really horrible. Edit: I rewatched and I guess you didn't specify if you told him or if you just stopped messaging/ghosted. My bad. Also wanted to mention that closure is a big thing for some people and ghosting doesn't give that closure which can cause people to start obsessing over getting some relief. Which is why I always suggest just being honest and telling someone you just don't wanna talk anymore. But it's still unclear how that situation went. The stalking is not okay at all. But I think it was probably a huge mental struggle for him depending on his attachment style.
I thought about this too. She didn't mention how she communicated so it's unfair to assume. Also she was young! Mistakes like that get made a lot in the early years of dating. But ya the whole watching the guys life spiral while ghosting him thing definitely gave me pause as people often don't want to take accountability for the impact they had on someone's downfall just cause it's more comfortable to disconnect. And then they use the person's spiral as justification for their actions which is unfortunate
@@ExtraEskay agreed Eskay. And I wasn't reading into it. Just noticed someone had the same thoughts as me probably stemming from similar personal experience. Its tough not to project your own trauma onto internet stories that don't really relate sometimes
