This Overwhelmingly Positive Game Is Crazy Addictive 

This game is so satisfying to watch I hope this becomes an ongoing series.

That knock at 8:11 in the vid really threw me for a loop DF. I swear something was knocking on my window or something until I realize it was the vid when i went back to check rewatch something.

I got jump scared so hard by 7:58. Scared the shit out of me because it seriously sounded like someone was banging on the window beside me despite it being almost 1 AM.

Love this game. You can put the compartments together to make a large base. You also should move your base up a cliff or something, cause the area you are at will eventually flood with water... Finally remember you can destroy most of the old stuff to gather materials for the higher tier versions. I find it funny that you can unlock things like glass walls and floors for example. Love your commentary and the humor you release for us fans!

Those shelter cubes will merge together if you place them next to one another. It's all modular. Just gesture the construction ghost near and it'll snap and show a little chain link icon. Also a good idea to just slap down a cube with a door around the world to give you a place to top off O2 since it only costs what you can find strewn around the local area.

I love the amount of chaos that DF is able to bring to what is an otherwise pretty simple and straightforward game. lol My favorite is the multiple completely unconnected living quarters.

This game looks awesome. It feels like a combination of Subnautica and Satisfactory, but with it's own twist.

What I imagine happened with this, is that Blitz found it, it was popular, and then he sent it to DF and it just took df a while to get around to it lol. That’s just how I explain them playing a lot of the same games, they just send each other stuff if it’s popular

Two tips: You can put multiple habitats together when they snap in, and it opens the inside walls to make one bigger base, and you can make a habitat with a door for a couple pieces of material you can find on the ground at each of the sites of interest to put storage chests for staging, and because it will resupply your oxygen so you have a staging area at each point. I've also had meteors hit my stuff and it hasn't messed anything up, but you never know if that will change in future updates. You also already found the aluminum biome.

I love how the placement of the player's arm on screen makes it look like he's really reaching and his arm is like right underneath his chin and not resting near his side

A helpful note, you should make your base higher up. The place you are at will later be under water and it will mess with your base.

I was wondering why there was so much iron in DF's game, thinking maybe it was all procedural and he just had an iron seed. Then I remembered I've just watched way too much of RCE and DF didn't build a stairway to heaven. He'll probably drill into the planet's core though.

I think the editing makes your videos what they are. Amazing.

This feels like a realistic version of Astroneer. Or a mix between Surviving Mars and Astroneer, and maybe Subnautica without the “everything being water with little bits of land” part to it.

Just a little heads up I would go to higher grounds and set up so when you get lake's unlocked you won't be flooded

There's a wall you can deconstruct in that ship. It has more chests behind it. You also might wanna move your base onto a hill. Once lakes start forming you'll see why I said that.

NEED MORE OF THIS GAME.

Two things: First off, the habitat cube is modular(hence why it does not come with a door) so if you put one right next to the other, they will merge into a bigger space inside. After awhile you will be able to build towers with them as well, there are even transparent walls to make. You can make this after you unlock the ladder recipe. Secondly, the little cube rooms do not need much material to build, and they are self-sufficient on power And oxygen. When you go exploring, build relay-stations along the way, using the standard habitat cube. Then you can slowly branch out until you cover the entire map. You also do not lose any material when deconstructing, so if your relaypoint is no longer useful, just deconstruct it into materials again.

DUDE, the things I would do to see u play satisfactory

Hey, DF. I know you read comments. You can make your buildings bigger by putting them next to each other. They connect and you don't need to build doors. Also, you can make storage chests.

DF you can connect the base by placing them next to each other and they will attach and expand the existing space. Also so far meteorites don't do damage to structures. Lastly you don't really need to take oxygen tanks with you just enough resources to make a hut so you can hop in and than continue that way you have more space for other things. Doesn't work inside of crash sites so if you're gonna delve into one of those than making a checkpoint with supplies would help. (Aka a box with storage.) However that's up to you either way I hope you have fun.

Editor, at 13:27 I really hope that's a reference to how slow the Soul Binder from Ender IO is.

Hey DF, I'm not sure if you've learned it since the gameplay in this video, but there's 2 gameplay mechanics you should be aware of: 1. Buildings can snap to each other, including multi-story buildings. This really helps with the cramped feeling. 2. And most importantly: you get back 100% of the resources it takes to make something when you deconstruct it. You can deconstruct a lot of your T1 machines, add just a couple more minerals, and have T2 machines that produce significantly more Oxygen/Pressure/Heat without going out and gathering all of the materials fresh each time.

Living compartments connect together when placed next to each other.

Like DF said, he's broken enough planets that he should easily be able to fix one (if he wants to).
