The horror stories of getting a box with a corrupted sd card (or in some cases, no sd card) are the only reason I recommend sticking to 3A games branded Pandora Box. Otherwise, the extra games and superior performance of the Saga EX2 make this the obvious choice. Excellent review, I was searching for someone on RU-vid who had the 10,000 games 2021 model.
Oh yeah? It must be a pretty common thing then. It's pretty appealing to look on AliExpress and see all the options and see them all as viable, but really the quality of the seller makes a big difference if you need any sort of support.
I'll never forget the old commercials for Dead or Alive where the one guy is trying to give reasons why he likes the game, and at the end, his friend is just like, "She kicks high." As far as shoot em ups, I was surprised by just how much time I killed with the 3DS version of Twinbee.
@@TechDweeb Yeah, it was one of the earlier things they put out to show off their 3D since it made the air and ground more distinct or something. Most of the time I just turned it off and played regularly though, lol.

Yeah that's a big misstep. Most TVs and some monitors have the ability to select the aspect ratio, so it would only be an issue if it really bothers you and your device didn't let you do that. It seems like such a simple obvious thing, I'm surprised there are still devices that don't let you do this. Like, if you're going to go through the trouble of making a decent well-performing emulation box that emulates all these systems and comes with thousands of games, would it really be hard to put an aspect ratio setting? Or a simple nearest neighbor image scaling? Sheesh

And keep in mind that there is a game "store" on this version that lets you download new games (all free of course). Again, I can't test it for you, but I've heard the store has everything you could ever want so I assume you'd be able to get your favourites.
Mine works fine with HDMI. Not sure what to suggest if it's not showing anything on the display, other than swapping cables and trying other displays. If you can't get it working the device itself might be faulty (in which case contact the manufacturer, they can replace the board inside).
I have a problem with my Pandora Arcade it doesn't seem to read the SD card and I have to keep connecting and disconnecting the card back and forth to get the device to recognize the the data because it shows zero games listed and I have over 8000 games saved on it. My question is what do I do to fix this issue get another Pandora box? I was planning on getting micro SD card adapter so I can back up my data on this thing.
Yeah it sounds like an issue with the card reader on the box. You could try reaching out to the company to get a replacement, but if you buy a replacement box you should be able to swap it out with the one inside and be able to use your joysticks no problem.
As far as I know the only way to add your own games is to use the in-app 'store' to download them (which seems quite easy), or to jailbreak it (which is quite complex). You can't just copy your roms over like most devices, which is a shame :/

I get that it's not going to be everybody's cup of tea. It's like a character on a TV show that you hate. Sometimes after listening to them for a while you start to like the character, but sometimes you don't and you never will. Everybody's got different tastes and that's totally cool, not here to win any popularity contests (if I was I would show my face because I'm handsome AF). I'm having so much fun making these videos and developing the character, that is all I need. That and a fridge full of diet root beer in my mom's basement of course. 😜
