I just spam jugg, wk and troll lately. Yeah they're not as good as AM and void but they can recover way easier and join fights much earlier so it feels less bad when your team is sprinting it down

What do yo mean, basically half the offlaner pool buys it, 25% magic resistance and gutting the spell damage of anything you hit is huge. Freaking Viper offlane is good now because Shiva + Mage Slayer makes him unkillable.

What's your bracket? In my bracket (2k) I feel like I never want to join early fights because my team is always looking for really bad ones, chasing way too far, not playing around vision etc. I've gained about 400 MMR spamming bf jugg and troll, rad wk, and just splitting the map and threatening towers while I farm for 25 mins, get massive nw and take over the game while both teams clown around. Ofc the weakness of this is if my team is stupid as hell and tries to force 4v5s way too hard, instead of playing more defensive enemy just gets massive and we lose

@@Flamebreakerful I'm at 1800 and have had some nice comebacks in exactly the same way. I am having the most consistent success with Drow at Pos 1. When I see the pattern, I make it a point to show up to 1 or 2 fights and throw out a silence and an arrow barrage. It gives me just enough NW to increase farm and then takeover the game. Jugg has been solid for me, too. I mostly play Pos 3, though, so it sucks watching the Pos 1 get lost in the team fight cycle.

If the enemy is death balling, then you have two lanes that should be pushing into them to force a reaction. The safest lane should be pushed by the carry while the other is pushed by the mobile 2 or 3.

@@TheMrCurious For sure. That's what I do and then get flamed for not fighting with the team, lol. It's wild how people don't recognize patterns. We lost every fight mid for the last 5 minutes... Maybe we should do something else? I have had a few nice comebacks as Abaddon when I just kept pushing the opposite lanes, hit my manta timing and started destroying.

as a carry the reason a carry player farms longer that they are supposed to is either they just braindead or because people dont know their roles your support just pulls mindlessly and sits behind you afraid to get hit so you burn through healing and have to recover in the jungle this is so bad if your playing with a non jungle carry like pre mom void, a mid like puck or ember would farm post 10minute because they got destroyed or is just treating it as a carry so we get pressured even more, an offlane takes the triangle ancient space almost all the time for some freaking reason, offlane is called offlane because the hero opposing the carry has the skills/stats to kill your timings and is supposed to be advantageous. See its your team's job to set you for success early so you can contribute mid game or lead late game its not gonna work if your team makes it impossible and plays catchup by farming instead of getting map control we have to hit our timings to be a carry if we have to play catch up then what are we supposed to do

veil is a good item to rush now, it makes it even better that upgrades into shiva, it's insane

Helm of iron +4 HP/sec Regeneration +5 Armor Yes, the Veil seems nerfed but it simply changed the hero role. I role-play off, and I take it out with each hero, because you are basically an aura carrier and there is nothing that has a faster impact than Veils in TF if your team composition has a lot of magic damage. Veils + 2 Bracers + botas + Daga and you dominated early game. Except HC, I take veil with any role if my team doesn't take the item That's how good it is at least in 4k games

Dota2ProTracker. Follow it for optimal item builds but cross reference with Dotabuff because it is exclusively used for high mmr games. Builds are tailored for the high bracket where you can rely on your teammates and aren't optimal when you need to scale as support as games go ultra-late often.

its a no brainer on drow. as BSJ mentioned, heroes like medusa and sniper (and drow) who can get shutdown and killed fast when disabled love the item!

its, he just gave the popular examples any ranged carry would love that juicy MS boost for proper positioning

@@takashiro843 Yeah, the only issue is that my drow is consistently banned every single game... :D So I needed to switch to medusa, which work as well, but it feels like every single game has at least one agi core who likes to make disperser as well... :D

Pudge with shivas, bloodstone, aghs and ethereal shroud is bonkers. He can just go in and rot and he will be the last to go down.

That's like 13k worth of items, any hero is strong with that much money. You can rush Shivas and be unkillable for a lot less gold.

I think it's better these days to skip the corrosion on mid ember. Instead, go bottle - phase boots - blight stone - wand - mage slayer - bkb/maelstrom/radiance/shivas etc
