Cameras have been able to see in the dark using large spectrum cameras for years. They used to have them on phones too. Right up until they realized that clothes weren't as opaque in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums and that people were abusing it.
You wouldn't be able to see much even if you removed the uv filter, and most cameras barely pick up infrared. The reason they stopped being made was because of size
@@sathyaki You got to see the Xperia's phone... I own a XZ2 Premium and literally is the first phone to see in the dark. When i pit the camera to a dark room it looks better than my eyes
