Kuala Lumpur has one of the three predominantly Cantonese speaking Chinese communities in the world along with Hong Kong and Guangzhou. This is despite the fact that it is a majority Muslim country. Thats the reason KL is such a dynamic place.
Also Vancouver and San Francisco, along with Kuala Lumpur. These three cities received the largest Hong Kong people migration during the handover to China in 1997.
I am from Sarawak. I stayed a few years in Kuala Lumpur when I was studying there. I miss KL after I returned, mainly because of the food there. I miss bakuteh, wantan noodles, Penang Kuih tiaw, chicken clay pot rice, Ipoh hor fun soup, assam laksa, ying Yong noodles, Yong tofu…… The list just goes on, and not forgetting the Indian and Malay food. In Sarawak, we also have lots of good food. Here,I’ll recommend foochow food and hakka food. You see, my dad is a foochow and my mum is a hakka. So, I have the best of both food world. The foochow version of the Cantonese wantan noodles here is called kampua mee. It tastes totally different. I love both wantan mee and kampua mee.
@@leealex24 I am working in Sarawak now. Thanks for your hospitality. Whenever I have a chance,I’ll stay in KL….. mainly for the food. Chinese food, Indian food and Malay food. They all have their unique flavour.
Dear Justin & Alina, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video titled "THIS place in MALAYSIA looks like JAPAN. It left us SPEECHLESS". The vibrant nightlife and food in the beautiful district of Bukit Bintang certainly left me stunned as well. Your video captured the magic of the place and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I appreciate the effort you put into creating content for your channel and thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your video is a great way to showcase the beauty and charm of Malaysia and I'm sure it will inspire others to visit this stunning place. I wish you both all the best for your future travels and look forward to watching more of your adventures. Keep up the great work! Warm regards, Rich
Bukit Bintang in English means Star Hill, that's also why you see a very swanky, luxurious shopping mall called StarHill where ESlite is located at as well. Haha, you are welcome to buy a property in Bukit Bintang. :)
I waited and watch it on 4k TV, drone shots night shots of KL and bukit was majestic. Worth waiting for the video . Now I will visit Lot 10 , going to visit KL after 2019 seems like lot have evolved. Merdeka 118 hopefully opens soon
2 weeks ago I was in bukit bintang too and I went to pavilion and in every corner there’s groups of Singaporean. We are everywhere in KL during the June holidays for kids.

Seems like you guys are really enjoying Malaysia. You guys don’t seem as happy in the Philippines. Do you guys plan to leave the Philippines once your lease is up?

@@Dasa22222 data dri mana hey u malaysii? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 kok pke istilah rasis pribumi an?? Emang lo masih hidup di zaman kolonial penjajahan? Emang kamu sendiri paling pribumi yg punya lahan orang asli dri zaman bahula?
As an American soldier, there is no dispute about Sabah. It does not exist. Even the US and it's administration accepts Sabah as Malaysia. No dispute there.
@@josephmanzuni8593 Yes.That's very true. Even if you ask Sabahan the majority would choose to be in Malaysia. Only few politician populists use the issue to their own political interest.
There's no dispute, it's very clear in the historical agreements that Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaya belongs to Malaysia. That is all. Philippines better just focus on your existing territories.
