Thank you, that brightened my day up by seeing some lovely pictures, of a place I have never been too! Well done and thank you for sharing your morning with us all...
Gary, I love your work. My wife calls me a grammatical pendant and I’m sure that, as ever, she’s on the money. So please excuse my shameful failing here. I refer to your super about Ben. “who’s” means “who is”. The word you should have used is “whose”. Ymddiheuriadau, ffrind, a diolch yn fawr!
Gosh! The first and last time I saw the Cobb was in 1986. Haven‘t been back since unfortunately, from Oz. So thanks for sharing this beautiful place, Gary. I think I even saw a quick shot of the hotel we stayed at, up on the cliff. Just loved the BW image with loads of waves hitting the Cobb. That‘s how we saw it, in blustery weather.
I enjoyed the video as usual Gary. It was nice to see you out and about with Ben again. I have been there many many times and it's a great place to look around and photograph. Great image's as usual mate. Look forward to the next one.
Your last couple videos down on rhe south UK have been great, love the way you create your images with the light you have, your black and white conversions are so well done.
I've been visiting Lyme Regis since 1965, my best mate still lives there and it's just as special after all these years.... Thanks for uploading, enjoy..
I m back to Dorset this August and while staying in Weymouth I will definetely visit Lyme Regis again, one of my favourite places in the area. I will try long exposure here in black and white. Thanks for the good video. All the best from Barcelona
Nice one Gary - some epic shots - think my favs are the early ones when you had a bit of colour in the sky - good to see how you work a location from every angle. Good luck with reaching the 100K subs - getting very close..👌
Stunning video. I love the b&w towards the end. Your photography is really encouraging me to try this long exposure stuff (as I can afford a 10 stop filter for my Kase system).
Just starting to watch and that composition you say you struggle with the s curve ending in the middle, to me it works because it's leading straight to the land point in the background or and i know its strange to do but could be taken in portrait orientation. Now let's get back to the video 😂 Update and there's a portrait view lol
At the 7:30sh mark where you are trying to eliminate the aquarium - would a bit taller tripod have helped? I was not there so not a criticism just a query.
I really enjoyed vlogging from there a few weeks ago. (Would love your feedback if you had the time to pop by and watch it). Love the image where you merged a few together I never considered doing that to be honest. Great as always. Thanks
