Classic WoW has many great zones. But Mulgore is possibly my favourite. Join me in WoW Classic Season of Discovery live on Twitch: Twitch: / vulgrinwow Music: Music by / @fantasylofi → ffm.bio/bitsan...
Thanks for sharing your love for the zone. It really is my favorite zone in Classic/Cata. Same for Taurens ! Just seeing someone talk about Mulgore makes me happy. Dun Morogh comes close too. The only zone that could take Mulgore are the grizzly hills because I'm a mountain addict lol.
All good picks! Dun Morogh is also a great zone, I love the atmosphere and music, but I dislike the actual levelling experience because of how it sends you both East and West from the centre pretty much at the same time!
I'm with you, leveling a new Tauren through Mulgore is something I've done at least 20 times over the two decades I've been playing WOW .. and YES, the respect that Blizzard gave the Native American cultures shows through .. the music is is simply the icing on the cake, Mulgore has been my WoW home since 2004 and I'll never like leveling any other race in any other zone remotely as much as Taurens in Mulgore.
My first ever character back in 2005 was a Tauren Warrior, since then Tauren & Mulgore have been my favourite even though I always play Undead. The music in Mulgore is fantastic.
@@vulgrin9573 I abandoned Retail at some point but as soon as Classic came out I knew I had to play a Tauren again. Recently having a lot of fun with SoD. I’m playing a Tauren Shaman but I stared as a Tauren Druid back then.
I love Mulgore! It's my favourite starter zone by far -- so much that if I make an Orc or Troll character, I'll do the "Barrens Run" at level 1 just to have the opportunity to level in Mulgore instead of Durotar. (Turtle WoW made that a bit easier, putting in the Zeppelin between Ogrimmar and Thunder Bluff, but still). Love the Tauren, and love this zone! I haven't played WoW for a while. Might just have to fire up Turtle WoW and start a new Hordie just because of this vid!
Nothing better than a relaxing adventure through Mulgore! Did Turtle add any cool additions to that zone or have they kept the starting areas unchanged?
@@vulgrin9573 Durotar has changed quite a bit with some new quests, and a new Goblin town, Sparkwater Port, that has quests for all levels. Mulgore has a plateau area for about level 12, between Mulgore and Stonetalon Mountains, where you can earn a trinket. I haven't seen any new quests yet around Bloodhoof village. Tirsfal Glades has a whole new sub-zone for about the same level range as the Barrens/Silverpine, called the Tirsfal Uplands, which is pretty fun. Idk about the ally zones.
Its a great zone, though honestly I think all of TBC looks gorgeous. Even HFC is memorable to me because you really do feel like you've gone into hell haha.
I used the lo-fi versions of the Mulgore and Thunderbluff themes, but I debated using the actual in-game music and I'll take this on board for the next video. Thanks for the feedback!
I think that much like my Shimmering Flats vid, your appreciation for Mulgore comes down to how much you enjoy that openness and "emptiness". I get where you're coming from though!
