33 year old Dad of 3 here, who gets very little time to game these days, but I've been going for trophies since day 1. I'm at 208 platinums + 125 ultra rares - 43.53% = 188 Would like the ultra rare percentage to be higher, but I tend to just go for shorter games these days due to time, I avoid all the shovelware though. On PSN profiles under the same name as youtube if anyone wants to compare lists.
Ha ha it's always the case mate. I really enjoy going for tougher games, I have a few in my list. But for the most part it means I get to experience fewer games in general as they take up more time, and I maybe play 8-10 hours a week max so just can't commit.
This definitely takes me back. Your trophy list reviews were essentially what got me more involved in the community. I was really bummed when you stopped doing them, especially since it meant I missed out on the chance to get my own reviewed. Even if only temporary, it was nice seeing this again. EDIT: Just for fun, using your formula...598? Seems decent enough I guess.
I hadn’t even realised you’ve gained weight, thank you for bringing this too my attention I promise to use this new character arc to my advantage in the future
Love to see trophy list reviews back! 🎉 your trophy list reviews are what got me started caring about my own list and backlog back in August 2021. Great video and a banger list to start back up with. Way to go Deadman! 🥳
The chadinum leaderboard was awesome, and this new formula is pretty cool too. Would be nice to somehow factor in difficulty (and the subjective nature of trophy roadmaps would cause funny endless debates). No idea how to do that though
Nice to see Trophy review lists coming back! Did the formula on my own stats 41 platinums 4 ultra rares 53.07% rarity Ended up at a score of 21 points. Guess I need to try some harder games or some rarer games! I promise - no shovelware on this list! :D
Solid review mate!! & Deadman that's one hell of a trophy list with some big bangers on there brother! 🤘😎 Keep smashing them out like the chad we know you to be 😜
Honestly not surprised you stopped doing trophy list reviews for a while! In feel it would eventually get very repetitive. I’m surprised ‘Platinum Chasers’ has been doing it for years on his channel and not been burned out
Yeah I got super burnt out from them can’t lie. It’s the edit that is what causes the burnout, they are just boring to edit haha hence why I brought in platinum bear hahaha
@@PlatinumBro Workout a half hour a day and cut soda with sugar and you'll be fine. Try the 'zero' sodas like I did. I lost my belly in a very short time just switching to Pepsi Zero.
Plat Bro going back to his roots which is good to see. I always enjoy a nosey at someone else’s trophies. I can only assume that Deadman doesn’t sleep 😂 A very impressive list. PS. I like the collectible cards. May well look into that.
Bruh I feel you, over the past few years by body betrayed me 😂. It’s good to have these reviews back. Maybe one day I can be on the review. But I am a baby hunter, just started.
I have 83 plats, 198 UR trophies, average trophy rarity of 36.22%, so according to this I have 180 points. It seems like a surprisingly good points system, really punishes you for getting lots of shovelware.
Even if you do miss listing off some good ones, it would probably be best to have a more fluid scroll, so that viewers can see the different games on the list themselves, there are a few speed scrolls/outright cut skips that don’t allow this in this video. Thanks. But yeah, Judgment platinumed too and that’s part of the yakuza franchise.
I heard today that Sony is FINALLY doing the right thing and coming over to Steam deck. Not only will we be able to platinum games away from home (without the God awful streaming 🙄) and also, you'll simultaneously unlock the Steam achievements as well
How do I enter in the trophy list review? I tried checking the discord for any instructions so forgive me if I missed it. I do believe for the amount of platinums I have (75) I have one of the best lists in the world with a lot of 10/10s and think it would make a great review!
Nice its great seeing other lists. Some people have tons of ultra rares. Planning on getting some more myself. Id like to have more ultra rares than platinums. But i usually stay away from terribly hard games, they just get frustrating. 7/10 is usually the max I'll do. But most are 3-5. My score is 107 plats+ 68 ultra rares = 175. Subtract 40.3% and i get 104.5.
Am so gald the Reviews are back. Was nice watching them and find new games I didn't know about. Would like to be reviewed by you but till then i have to get 100plats 😅
Seeing Mirrors Edge: Catalyst reminds me. Servers are shutting down december 8th and there is 2 online trophies. Very easy, but if someone owns the game and wants to Plat it then should do those online ones asap :)
This is a really good list with pretty impressive platinums & series! My score is 121 Plats + 88 Ultra Rares - 45.63% = 113 Great video dude! That outro was amazing! 😂
I saw someone post their trophy list on a FB group the other day they had 1000 platinums, over 25k trophies in that 25k trophies they had 25 ultra rares and less than 100 rares, somehow they got offended because I called them out on crappy shovelware games.
@@PlatinumBro thanks mate! I recently went back on GTA V! I cleared the Online like 5 years ago but was burned out with the story since I mostly played the single player campaign on PS3. 10 years later I guess I can go back to this 100% and collectibles hunt! I'll get that completion rating up!
I have 574 platinums now, yea I give myself a Playstation Extra/Premium game to platinum, and I went with Peppa Pig 😂 to My Little pony to Paw Patrol 🤦 my brain hurts 😂
575@@PlatinumBro I went for PJ Masks 😂 I'm shocked it's a ultra rare Platinum. Also I challenge u to platinum My Little Pony 😂 dont worry it's a fun game, I ain't evil I won't send u Peppa pig way 😂 and see ur brain melt 😄
I love how you glanced over the Monster Hunter World platinum which took him 300 hours. That Is the average completion time for it. I’m over 400 hours in and I’m about done with World but I still have a way to go with Iceborne WHICH HAS ITS OWN FUCKING PLATINUM.
What I'm super impressed about is the ability to do whole series or at least almost all of it. It can get so tiresome doing the same kinda games again and again
Oof, my current score is 93 with the information available to me. Hopefully when I can properly update my PSN profiles account I'll have a better score.
Don't forget, camera adds ten pounds. Don't think I'll send up my list for review, got 109 platinums and plenty of them are Lego games (which you think the Platinums are trash) and Telltale games. No shovelware, but the best one I think is Rayman Legends on PS4.
And so the new timeline begins. RIP the non-canon reviewee scum lol. Just a note of encouragement for anyone tempted by Back 4 Blood. It's not a 9/10, I assume that rating was based on its state at launch. It's about a 5/10 nowadays especially after they added a new difficulty, they nerfed the one needed for the platinum
@@PlatinumBro There's been so many updates to the game that have not only reduced the difficulty of 'nightmare' they also changed things like the AI bots to the point they'll carry you on their own if you choose to go at it solo. With the games deck system of drawing cards giving perks you used to just draw one each level but now you can choose to start missions with your full deck right off the bat and that applies to the AIs decks which are full of team-wide buffs that will massively benefit you lol. They also added more checkpoints so if you do screw up you're not going back far. It's genuinely a hell of a lot easier than launch (but it's still really fun IMO) The DLC is a little bit harder only because you do need to play them on that 'no hope' difficulty if you want 100% but even then no hope is much easier than nightmare was on launch. The one hurdle that exists is since you have to unlock the cards to use in your deck you probably might want to stay away from higher difficulties to start with just to get some better cards that work well together. Difficulties do stack, but probably still worth doing a playthrough on each of them just so by the time you get to nightmare you'll have good cards to make whatever build you prefer playing instead of the starter cards.
That's where minusing the average rarity comes into play. For example If you have 300 plats, 10 ultra rares, and 90% average rarity, you would only have a score of 31.
