The fact that you can add a VST as a "pedal" is fantastic. Opens up a rabbit hole you could fall through endlessly-- but you'd have a helluva good time on the way down.

I don't know why people have been sleeping on Blue Cat. Their feedback simulation plugin is amazing as well. I use it all the time. You don't even need to let it go into full blown feedback...it adds the richness that is typically lacking in Amp Sims. It creates beautiful singing sustain.

From what I can see this is the most outstanding, amazing, all-inclusive, super powerful amp/FX sim in the universe - and possibly beyond! Some more of your crazy sounds and how you achieved them would be great - you could do another half hour clip on that alone - easy!

On my first cup of coffee and sat down and you popped up here.. Wonderful.. Great sounding plug in man.. Those effects are killer too! We live in a time that is the best for us guitar dudes making rock sounds.. Couldn't be a bette rtime to play guitar IMHO.. Very cool brother.. The effects are amazing.. I'm off to work this morning.. The weather is epic.. Leaves will start changing soon and it's beautiful in these hills.. / woods.. Be safe my brother and have a great week sir! Tim

Wow! I like the self explanatory visual layout, and the pickup Sim is awesome...🤔so I could use it with garageband on my Mac...and I'm set. Different note, 🤣got my first old man glasses today, and I'm seeing the top on that DGT😮 blown away for a 2nd time.

it even works standalone, so you don't have to open your DAW if you don't want.

Lupins gotta love the capability of true blue honest to goodness sound and gets a little math lesson to boot while flying around the room on his very own dreamy blue but somewhat wobbly cloud I bet... Lupin says your sound always seems to come out of the blues bluest of blues for him mate...you have one fur sure true blue cat. 😺

I tried it, it does a lot, but at I found the inbuilt hi gain models lacking... sounded hollow and narrow when testing them in a mix and comparing them to most other modern amp sims. The good thing is the option to add vsts, but in that case I´d rather use Revalver 5 free, and then buy the vst - host module for 10,99 dollars (I got in sale for about 3 dollars a few years ago while it was still revalver 4)... that is a great solution.

How has this flown under my radar. I thought I had a good idea of what was out there! VST loader, dual amp functionality, I wish more developers would do this!!! So if you don't like the amps, load up ToneX or load up your own FX like Strymon stuff or Fab filter. The possibilities here are endless. Only question is MIDI control...

Yep, exactly. It also runs in stand alone mode so you don't even have to open your DAW.

It can indeed be fully controlled by MIDI (supports MIDI CC and Bank/Program change)!

Axiom is a worthy plugin to own and this ver 2 is heaps better. I have destructor late replies patchwork hot thna as well and re guitar. I have nothing but good things to say about them all. Just wish gbe update to verion 2 of axiom was free too all who already paid for version one. Not just those lucky enough to have paid for it in the year 2023.

IMO new axion beats Sgear. BC tock effects are incredible by themselves. there are overdrives that sound better than my analog stomps. etc. s gear feels good but dated. the only con to bc is that it sound amazind with my interface level in almost at zero but auto wha and filters need a very hot signal to work properly

Sounds decent, if it was a bit cheaper I might buy it. 200 clams when I can get the Neural stuff cheaper. It sounds decent mind ad is flexible.

Be aware that if you have V1 of Axiom and install the demo of V2 it will overwrite the V1 install. Rename the V1 install before installing the demo. A very good thing is V2 reads V1 presets no problem.

While you are talkign about Blue Cat, you need to look into their incredible Late Replies Delay VST. If there's a better delay out there, I'd like to see it.

Are you playing through an actual amp - or through the plugin out to your monitor setup? An overview of your amp/monitoring and recording setup would be helpful. An example of an optimal recording setup with and/or without an amp and why would be really great. Thanks

I think Leon goes only thru Axiom's amp simulation and effects, straight into studio monitors - no extra guitar gear involved here.

You actually choose one single pickup. If your guitar has several pickups, choose the one that is currently selected.

Can you load Axiom into Axiom into Axiom into...? It's a great product design, so many features! Not sure if the sounds are there for me...then again, just load the Plini into this and I get the platform I wish Neural would make. Will def. check it out!

Yes you can, but should you...? You may want to check out some of the "Pleeny" presets in Axiom btw.
