I have a lauten audio 320 v2 going into the Uad 1073 pre plugin then to the Uad CL1B plugin for light compression. Great sound. MIC PRE IS A GAMECHANGER FOR YOUR SOUND
If your voice isn’t deep you can’t get that 😂 & warm vocals literally come from using mic pre amps , tube/optical compressors and tape plugins . Industry artists use gear to record its not a secret. Stop thinking mixing does it

@@CanTGetRightTV209 gain stage and find a good level for you... find a sweet spot most of them come with compressors too...low end or high end, whatever sound you're looking for....put it on your print or record track do a practice run and see how it sounds...if you like it...
The waves 73 pre doesn’t really work properly but far as settings go it’ll depend on how you use the input on your interface and how hard you hit the pre because for the different mics I have or pre I switch it up
