You would think that Nintendo would hire these guys to create Pokémon games that we can love like this, I mean they made mystery dungeon which was not like the main stream games and yet fans loved it. if we can get games with more story like this made with a small budget from fans imagine what we can get if the fans that made this were given the same budget as any of the main stream games. It just shows to see how much effort a community can do what a company has been trying to for years

A fangame that features Kyogre as a primary character, let alone the main antagonist, is an instant classic. Also I happened to have a similar story with Legendary Pokemon taking human form, and Kyogre is ALSO the titular character of that one. Though my designs are much less obviously Pokemon-coded to make it less obvious since they're meant to blend with other people.

Plot of this game sounds like anime story but with the part of pokemon lore. It's not the new but it's fresh for the pokemon fan game community. Pokemon Reminiscence is great :3

Honestly for the plot twist at the end when kyoger asked about your name was gonna end up you’re being groundon I mean like most water type Pokémon hate him which was clarified and looking at the character it does look like the human form of groundon

Imagine getting 57 minutes of just this man's voice and his little art avatar for him to pop in for 10 seconds at the end lookin like a handsome son of a gun.

It’s unbelievable how easy a sequel would be make. Not game play wise but story wise it really writes itself. Ho-ho the legendary beasts and groundon. It would make so much sense.

There is a "prequel" of this game called "pokemon mystery dungeon: A Phione's Tale" which is basically a story of how Phione got their bow and gives more lore to this world. Really cute game and suggest you either play/watch someone play it.

Oh my god, the SHEER EFFORT that was put into this! Not only the art, but the story was crafted lovingly too. Amazing work! Also, I will acknowledge the two assets on Moira and Artica, however, as an enby, I raise Lucius and the sheer gender envy he envokes in me.

From start to finish this game really hooks u in, the whole concept of prana and legendary Pokemon being deities was interesting and the story itself was written well. ...but man can we all just agree on how pretty much every character got immaculate drip, Especially kyogre .. and articuno

This is tied for best fan made games I've played next to Brick Bronze which Nintenro shut down close to it's finish Story is this: Your parents give you a Brick shaped Bronze necklace, and you start your journey Shortly before you try to enter the next town, your parents are kidnapped by Team Eclipse so now your journey is to get them back along the way. You meet legendaries along the way, your rival gets a crush who comes along and things go on It's when you get to the floating city that you discover that not only is the team Eclipse leader the professor who gave you your pokemon and that he is planning to blow up the gravity core making the city float, your necklace is linked to Hoopa, and can summon legendaries in dire need as it summons Palkia and Dialga You're taken back in time to stop team Eclipse and succeed, but fracture the timeline. In the original time-line, your best friend/rival is kidnapped but you tried to save him despite failing and they succeed in making the city crash toward the ground In the new time-line you never came to save him but stopped the bomb, resulting in him joining team Eclipse after seeing all the things they will use to take over the world and he tries to convince you to join even so far as to attempt to do it by force You beat him and after that Nintendo copyrighted the game and it was fully deleted

This felt like a movie, I must applaud the story writer/s of this game and also the custom models and textures! It was immensely beautiful and unique in the best way. If this game somehow released as an indie licensed by Nintendo and Game freak, it would of undoubtably been such a successful hit. It just shows how the creators are true fans of the Pokemon Universe. I can only wish that Game Freak and Nintendo aspire to make games as flushed out and well written as this with modern graphics and models. Such unique ideas, characters, and plots that all mixed in so well to this master piece fan game. And I have to give credit to you sir Cosmic as well for doing such an amazing job at narrating this story and bringing it to life. Brilliant!

This whole time I thought the MC was going to turn out to be Groudon but great game.

So my biggest question with this game is what are the Legendary Pokemon on the level of or above Kyogre doing, like Groudon wouldn’t be part of the cycle, and would he just turn all the ocean to land once he wakes up again because there is no longer a Kyogre to counteract him and make ocean, and what would Raquaza do, or the creation trio, or is Mew part of the cycle, or are artificial Pokemon like Mewtwo or Porygon a part of the cycle, there is so many still unanswered questions that I have

20:13 I don't know about the other stuff but Snover berries are a real thing in the Pokemon universe. They are round white berries that grow on Snover's bodies. They can be plucked off for others to eat much like the banana-like fruit on Tropius' chin. According to the DP episode centered around Snover, they taste pretty good. Snover Berries are also happen to be the drop you get from defeating wild Snovers in Scarlet & Violet.

Those developers had no right to cook so hard on those designes, it's one of the most beautifull sprite arts I've ever seen on a Pokemon fan game.

Spanish Pokemon fangame creators weirdly always seem to pop the fuck off. I highly recommend Pokemon Xenoverse if you haven't already played it, it's another really high-quality fangame with a lot of love put into it. Rejuvenation and Reborn are also a fantastic duology with stories even crazier and maybe even better than the one here (though that's a high bar to clear!) Recommendations aside, goddamn this game is amazing. I was so invested the whole way through, you summarized it really well and made me want to go play myself even after knowing the entire plot and then some.

The Snover Berries, Surskit Syrup, and Budew Dew are also references to the game’s creator’s earlier (very short) Mystery Dungeon romhack called A Phione’s Tale where you play as Phione getting bossed around by the newly appointed Lugia. This game references it a bit and explains how Phione got her bow.

Lucius is a lot less of an unpleasant quest, then the MC is a bad host and unkind neighbour.
