He’s only 60 subs away from monetization (at 1000 subs) - production quality is great, and how does he have a legit sponsor already? Will be watching. My latest hairbrained microcontroller project is retrofitting a cheap 8-channel DMX light controller for use as an 8-channel SmartHome dimmer using ESPHome and the faders in the DMX box.
I don't mean to hate what you have done is magic but after watching, the timelapse music got a bit boring. I think you also had a few to many timelapses. I also thought that the top down camera was a bit to far away.
@@RistoInnovates my thoughts exactly. the soldering is very boring, we are here for the story. Show what you are doing, maybe a close up or two, but I don't think all the soldering should take up more than 5 minutes throught the video, thats a stretch.
i really enjoyed watching this, i do have 1 thing which might help though, maybe try to zoom in slightly more, so we can see more, and as someone else said, the phone thingy. still a great video though!
Cool project! I just wanted to say a couple of things. In min 17:00 you can kind of read the text messages on you phone, maybe it doesn't matter but I think you should be more careful, and zoom in more because it is very far away, I noticed that you recorded it in 4k, also for future reference, if you can't re-record some parts you could use digital zoom to see the details more and upload it in 1080p instead which is totally fine. And when doing a timelapse, you always restart the music from the beginning, for example, in min 24:50 you restarted the song 4 times in less than 2 minutes, I think you should either continue from where you left off or use different songs each time because it gets very repetitive. I think you could easily halve the length of the video without compromising on information and making it more entertaining by speeding through some segments, especially all the soldering. Also it would be nice to see a little demo of it working at the end. Hope you continue the good work 👍
Wow! Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. I am definitely taking notes, and I will try to outdo myself and up my game for the next video. I was trying out a different format for this video, but you are right - the video could be much better if it was half the length. Thank you
this is great work man, really. i just recently made a 10 pot basic midi controller using the seeedstudio xiao samd21 board and the tttapa control surface library - super compact and easy to use, might come in handy for another project of yours :)
Want a video idea that would reach a ton of people? A modular multichannel USB audio interface... or even non modular 4-8 channel. There isnt a single good DIY anywhere!
Nice, I wanted to do this for a while, might still make my own in the future with some bigger tempo sliders as well. gotta love the fine controll you get out of them. some leds could be cool too
Go for it! You should build it. I am all for DIY solutions. In my version, I was trying to save on space and tried to go as minimalistic as possible without sacrificing any features.
