Alex, dem need u in the education ministry. You’re the history teacher. Don’t believe even history teachers have such in-depth knowledge on Jamaica’s history. Bless up Alex and bredren.

Geologist and archeologist have the ability to timeline what Alex has found .The history of the land of Jamaica has many twist and turns and so Alex is often merely speculating . Nevertheless his enthusiasm is to be applauded

Love this...the Beckford family, some of these items should be put in a museum and preserved for history, on the BBC a descendent of the Beckford plantation slaves ,researched the history of the family and his blood link through slavery ,he met the existing family who still enjoy the wealth gained from slavery , I hope someone one day will dig for artifacts and display them Jamaica has rich history that the world would appreciate..peace 🙏🏽

Great channel. So much is disclosure being unfolded in the world, Love how your discovering hidden facts, which proves even slavery has big missing links. I'm from London uk. both parents transcended, Jamaican never met my grandparents on either side nor seen any pictures. Was told by a family member that my grandfather from st thomas was part Austraiian, I cant find any info regarding Austrailia and Jamaica but obviously there is a link. Can you verify please? Blessed Love

Good wealth of information we need to update history for sure, they always holding things back that people should know, time has come. with the age of the internet things are leaking drip drip but it's not enough , keep up the good work. there is more to Jamaican history than slavery which is only thing they teach.

The technique you're referring to is Spanish Wall which is using a mortar made from limestone burnt to ash and mixed with red dirt and water...this is what holds the stones firmly in a wooden frame. It is impervious to insects, completely waterproof when dry, and leaves no carbon footprint.

Bro, its very possible this building may have collapsed during Earthquake of 1692 as historical records I've seen stated all the stone houses on the island collapsed and the inhabitants had to build huts to live in, then France Invaded in 1694 and got their ass whipped.

The two houses are not that old. The wood one might be 100 years old. It was a banana/plantain house cause bananas, plantain and coconut were all over that end of st thomas in the 1900's. The stone work in the ground are just stones from the ruins that they placed in the garden within the past 70 years or so.
