"I also despite the fog gimmick." MVZ2's Blindness in Dream World, Darkness falls in Old Hell, Minimal light in Palace of Earth Spirits: allow us to introduce ourselves
The only reason I liked Fog was because it fit into the eerie aspect that the zombies were supposed to have countering the goofy aspect of the plants. As a design choice, especially contributing into the Garden Warfare games. In game design towards gimmicks? It’s more of like those blindfolded speedruns of Mario 64, but it was a required section of the game. Reduction of vision, reduction of hearing, all the fun of the fair, it just makes the game tougher by taking away one of the primary human senses. It’s why FNAF scared me as a child since I didn’t exactly understand how I was supposed to see if the animatronics were trying to sneak in. (I could have just listened to sounds, but I was a stupid child, stupider than the average child)
Second most over here: only reason I can't say the same is I played PvZ1's DS version last year, and Chomper is an unironic B-tier plant by the virtue of Not Having A Projectile in the version that starts to keel over if there's too many projectiles. I have used Chomper more than any reasonable person would or should.
Sad to see this game will be removed because EA & Popcap is bullshit. I hope someone can make fangame based of this game. Btw Amazing Video Flag zombie.
I don’t hate the fog in PvZ1 but it’s not my favorite mechanic. The one in PvZ2C that adds shields for some reason sounds like something I’d like significantly less
I like the fog gimmick because that dopamine/adrenaline rush you get when your quick thinking/reaction speed comes into play, plus not being able to see makes it more intresting and challenging
Honestly I never really thought about fog that much until I started watching your stuff. Now I completely agree with your stance on that, it's very annoying.
I don’t mind fog at all. The most I’ll lose is a bunch of Puff-shrooms, and all the fog zombies have sound cues. It’s the player who can’t see, not the plants.
I think most mods don't try and tread on the toes of PvZ2 and act as alternatives as opposed to replacements. If they don't advertise as being better then PvZ 2 and superior they should be fine?
Bruh did they censor the death animations for the zombies they no longer lose their arm and their heads don't pop off they just awkwardly fall down thats so lame
You aren't wrong about the Pool, in the og the zombies take ages to spawn in there The Fog levels are actually my favourite, I like it because it combos somewhat well with the new zombies, as not being able to see (Mostly) where the biggest threats are just adds more to the Pool mechanic, which at that point already felt samey and boring
I'm wondering how the same company can make a great region exclusive version with everything done good and yet did nonsense in another of their games such as reusing levels, making impossible bosses, or the most bullshit mechanics such as gargantuars from tents or one shot zombie transport artillery
Hello im a really big fan of your pvz 2 china vid they're so cool but quick question how do I get the turbo button I couldn't find it Some say you have to buy it but I didn't find that option if you know please help me
Please DON'T Ever put subway surfers in your videos i will RUIN the vibe. I can't say repeater is boring pick in 3-6 this PVZ1 afterall there isn't A lot of plants that do something unique other plants can't do like the fog plants Cactus is 125 sun cost peashooter that negate ballons but you get blover in level after it, split pea is the same but for digger zombie, starfruit is the only unique of the bunch attacking other lanes for 125 sun in 5 different directions, Starfruit is cool i do perfer his PVZ2 design than his PVZ1 design it looked very bland in PVZ1.
well fog sucks no matter which PVZ innit? fairy tale forest , PVZ 1 (well this mini program too then obviously) and the PVP mode i hate the PVP mode fog.
