Top heavy yes but frame is torsionally MUCH stronger than those little raptors, Ltz, banshee, etc. lighter and handle better but weak frames

@@jakeparks1 say I brought you a ds650 roller and a ski Doo 1000 SDI 2 stroke twin engine? What's a ball park estimate to put that engine in the ds650? Thanks in advance

@@julissaarellano6736 the 1000 sdi would be an awesome power plant for sure! but be a bit challenging in the ds 650 frame as it's a internal transmission unit not a belt drive. So to do that the frame would have to be stretched and a Polaris trans put in or a jackshaft setup. Swaps are way easier on a cvt platform like the Polaris ATVs. Definitely could be done but the amount of fabrication would be extensive to say the least. I wouldn't even know how to put a price on it to be honest. Time would be the other issue. Winter time would be best for building it.

@@julissaarellano6736 would be better off using a motorcycle engine for the ds650 frame it has clutch and chain drive already. Find a running wrecked crotch rocket to swap into it

Real numbers to replicate ours your gonna be around 5k or so unless you can find a donor snowmobile that has an engine you want to use on yours. Then its about 2k plus the price of snowmobile.

I wouldn’t mind paying that for a bad ass machine like that lol
