It would have more weight if hunhow didn't quit after octavia's anthem...the great threat to the system-spanning orokin empire was beaten for good by some sick tunes xD
I did a little bit of research about the names that we could choose for stalker and jade’s child, and Sirius means “The brightest star” while Orion means “The light of paradise”. Both clearly inspired by Jade… i think I’m gonna cry…
Sirius doesn't mean the brightest star, Sirius means "Burning" or "Scorching". Sirius IS the brightest star, however. Specifically it's the brightest star we can see in the night sky, in the Canis Major constellation.
it's based on a greek myth. orion was a hunter who turned into a constellation, and sirius was his hound, which corresponds to one of the brightest stars in the night sky
@@tidaloctoling715 thats what i thought too, figured since the choices glow green and red respectively. thought sirius was jade's choice so i picked that one
Maybe a splash of the Mandalorian and Joel from The Last of Us too. Stalker has joined the "just became single dad after a horrible tragedy or event" club.
@@sonofastudstudios4552 I don't drop the blades. I drop the main blueprints. The blade and hilt drop from the Sentient enemies Summulyst, Aerolyst, Ortholyst and Conculyst.
I did not expect this quest to be like this. It was really powerful for how short it was. Like first off, f*ck Ballas for turning a happy couple (soon-to-be-family-of-three) into warframes. Turning a pregnant woman into a warframe... I didn't think it was even possible to hate Ballas more. But now I do. Secondly, cool to see Stalker swallow his pride to try and save Jade. Not that it saved her. Because let's face it, there is no precedent to this. The baby pretty much consumed Jade. As warframes don't really eat to survive, there was no way for the child to grow without siphoning from Jade directly. Lastly, also cool to see the humanity in the Corpus. Captain Xeto was hell-bent on stealing this "important thing" the 'Tenno-killer' was protecting. However, the moment she heard the baby, she put the guns down immediately. First time I saw this Xeto, but I'm interested to see more of her. With her and Vala, the Sisters of Parvos are turning out to be more interesting characters. Great playthrough and reactions. I feel the same, bro. Felt too short. And I mean that in a good way. I want more.
Problem is Xeto might be in bad terms with Vala and Parvos as she let them go. IDK if Vala and Parvos think Stalker ran away stealthily, but I do not expect them to still be "indifferent" (ha) about Xeto, coz atleast they'll think she failed...
Remember Ballas went full on nuclear when Umbra found out Ballas was turning traitor. Ballas literally points out during his Komi game with Umbra each piece represents a loved one, acquaintance, and family member. "Each one plucked from your wretched bloodline" Ballas was incredibly pissed off and petty about how his scheme was almost completely undone by a single high ranking Dax and so set out to screw over everyone Umbra has known or interacted with turning them into Warframes or just killing them in horrific ways. Ie forcing Umbra to kill his son and make him relive the memory again and again and again.
Little fun detail. Stalker can still appear if he hunts you, but this time he will have jade light on his face and have a different voice, the one we hear from where he was human.
I was wondering about that. Hunhow said he left so I anticipated that we wouldn’t have our old song and dance with him anymore. Glad to see he got an upgrade and is still willing to hunt us for killing bosses.
What’s more shocking is that it was a high ranking member of the corpus that stopped them from killing the baby as most corpus in power are…..less then morally right.
@@scottbrooks3403i’m guessing from their view, because they were witnessing a completely new and one of a kind life in the whole universe; to tarnish and interfere with it’s growth would be far too corrupting in an existential scale even for them?
tbf, when I got to handle yougframe, I've tried to do as many crazy movement as possible. Babies learn fast so this one should be the most skilled acrobat of the system
@@A_Game_ZoneI need some scene of Sorren making Excal Umbra the Godfather of his kid, with Excal Umbra giving the kid a gift that is one of those Umbral Scarves as a blanket. Extra points if he plays his Shawzin for them while babysitting to calm them down.
Honestly they were always mirrors when you look at them as soon as sacrifice came out I immediately saw umbra a another version of stalker a sentient Excalibur frame that went against those who wanted to control it and caused it suffering
Orion is a prominent set of stars visible during winter in the northern celestial hemisphere. It is named for a hunter in Greek mythology. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. Its name is derived from the Greek word Σείριος (Latin script: Seirios), meaning lit. 'glowing' or 'scorching'.
The reach the surface cutscene is like the movie "children of men" where everyone stop shooting guns when they heard a baby cry for the first time in years
I was shocked by this quest, but I recalled at the last tennocon there were some jokes made about whether or not warframes could get pregnant... So its kinda funny to me that DE went with it. Friggin unreal quest
Yeah the implications are huge, a warframe that may not have issues with the insanity that grips others of their kind. Will they have abilities? How will they grow? Do they mature at the same rate as humans? Will we see them again?
No Sirius/Orion is our cousin. Let me explain Hunhow is space grandfather since he is father of lotus aka space mom, he adopted stalker/shadow, making him our space uncle, and since Sirius/Orion is his son, it makes him our cousin
Warframe is wonderful at making us constantly more interesting questions, drawing us into the stories, 10 long years and they just keep pulling me back in, stay awesome DE
Im sure Jade got pregnant before she became a warframe, and it was her pregnancy that caused the golden lords to punish Sorren and Jade by making them warframes. Jades survivil after the slaughter meant the baby kept growing and Sorren (The stalker) looked after her because the baby made her weak. The decay loss of the main warframe during childbirth must just be what happens during a warframe pregnancy. And i guess warframe pregnancy terms are hundreds of years long
It's more that pregnant women can be turned into warframes...many people remembered the devstream but didn't understood the quest, I'm against fetish too like them but this quest didn't had it...
9:21 Vala Glaria is the Sister of Parvos who you fought against in the Call of The Tempestarii quest. She probably just really hates all Warframes after Sevagoth and Tempestarii killed her sisters
The best part for me was when the Corpus soldiers began stepping out of the Stalker's way. It really shows that though Parvos is definetly an asshole, his people are... Well... Still people. Even those from the high command, like captain Xeto. She has also shown quite high competence for a BBEG. Hell, I didn't expect *anything* from this quest, and it turned out to be one of the best short quests in the game! P.s. Also, Hunhow has just resigned and nobody gives a sh*t? At some point the guy was the main source of Sentients' threat in Sol, and now he's a retired grandpa!
Hunhow didn’t resign. He just lonely now. He said he will still remain the terrible and cruel Hunhow. He hasn’t given up yet. But Stalker isn’t his sidekick anymore.
When the mature game deals with mature/adult themes. Finally a comment section that isnt filled with edgy wierdoes. DE's pandering to the degenerates seems to have backfired on this quest since they find it wierd or funny or cringe.
Or, you can farm prime parts, sell them for plat, then buy the Stalker pack from the marketplace. Hate is a seriously good scythe, Dread is a very high crit bow, but the throwing daggers are garbage, like all throwing daggers.
The drop rates for Stalker's weapons were changed with this update. All of his weapons except the Dread have an 11% drop rate, the Dread drop rate was lowered
This quest was to me the most bizarre one, it feels out of place and in it at the same time, it's a new level of weird alongside the rest of the weird the game already gave me. Btw I called the child Sirius, I've always loved the italian version of the name which is "Sirio" and when I saw it I thought "hell yeah, my boi Sirio"
This was an amazing quest about parenthood. A mother, willing to give her life for her child, and a father putting the life of his child above his own.
A few months ago we were saying it was crazy to go back to 1999 and now warframes can have babies, whats next? A whole new planet spawns out of tin air? Actually forget that, that can fit into the lore very well somehow
Unpopular opinion, but I don't like how Jade keeps her pregnant belly when you use her. I don't have anything against mother's, but I don't think the Devs thought things through when you include the Helminth part of the game.
@@DaRealLloydy Spoiler Alert if you haven't unlocked the Helminth yet, but you can feed the warframes(not the primes) to it which allows you to get one of their abilities, and switch out an ability of your warframe main. So if you include Jade with her pregnant belly it feels pretty F'd up to give Helminth a 2 for 1 meal special.
Heads up, Stalker only has a 5% chance to drop Hate Blueprint. He has a 38% chance to drop his bow, Dread, but it seems much much higher, as everyone calls him Dread Dispenser
Assassin Drop Table Changes Increased (Shadow) Stalker’s drop rate for Despair, Scimitar Engines Blueprint, Hate, War, and Broken War to 11.73% each. Dread’s drop chance has been reduced on both Stalker (64.8%) and Shadow Stalker (41.33%) to compensate. Note: The Drop Chance of rolling a reward from this Drop Table is unchanged (i.e. 50%).
Yo, I absolutely got chills during the final fight out of stalker’s lair, you could just feel his desperation, dread, hate, and despair. For just that short period of time we were in the stalker’s head, like DE allowed us to transfer ourselves like our operator does to our warframes. Well played DE, well played.
I say personally it was a pretty great Quest ( also obvious Warframe pregnancy jokes) Good Luck running Ascension as well as doing operation Belly of the Beast ( operations are basically limited time only events although the only one that's reoccurring is plague star which happens on Plains of Eidolon, every year since 2017) anyways fun fact: if you are another player Play Jade here comes the video he would immediately leave is blueprints for one of his weapons
Neat thing; Stalker’s passive grants a huge boost to his weapons when not being targeted by enemies. Hitting his invis (3) and using his bow deals a ton of damage. Made the Juggernaut a breeze for me.
The quest honestly left me speechless. I was excited for more Stalker lore but I was completely unprepared for the heart break. Between this and the Final Shape for Destiny, i've been an emotional MESS 😭
Based on my research, if you name her Orion, she'll be vengeance like her father. If you choose (I forgot), she'll become compassionate like her predecessor
its still absolutely insane how DE said they were going to be wrapping up storylines in preparation of the next big arc of Warframe. Then they dropped this quest which instantly propelled Stalker into main character territory like what the fuck man.
By the way, you can get the skin of the ship, which is Stalker's ship, by 75 plat in the market. And Jade is farmable by the Operation Belly of the Beast, which is gonna take a while if you play on normal path; Steel Path can reduce the time farming for the parts for Jade and her Weapons. Edit: In Operation Belly of the beast, you farm Motes which can be use to trade Ordis in the Mercury Relay. You can get the skin for Hate, the one you use during the story.
With the operation done, ascension is now a permanent node in Uranus while Ordis moved to the Drifter's camp (where you can still exchange the currency).
This quest is a bit too goofy and has several plot holes, I give it a 3/10, though a handful of extra lines in the conversations could push it up to 5-6.
With not discrediting what you said, but how does it feel plot holes? As I can't see any, I haven't been playin super long, so it may have gone over my head :)
I think...(Spoilers!) At the very end, when the Corpus stop attacking as Stalker walks away with his and Jade's baby crying, I cried too. Even the Corpus have at least some humanity. They shelved their profit worship for just long enough to not be total hate-sinks. Even they're not big enough jerks to try to keep killing a now single father whose wife just died despite his and the Tenno's best efforts. Also, in the Operation, having the Stalker join you as an ally hits so hard, both literally and emotionally. Granum's forces' pants-darkening is both allowed and encouraged. Also...Warframes can get pregnant and reproduce despite everything that goes into making an initial Warframe. That has...implications.
The hate drops from the stalker, and it is amazing, specially in its incarnon form The way to get is simple: Kill a boss, any boss, and you'll be targeted by the stalker, then, do any fast mission, capture is what i use, until the stalker appears. Kill him and hope he drops the weapon... On another note, his bow is also insanely good
Now it all makes sense why stalker hated warframes so much. In his twisted mind they took away everything that he cared for. He was driven by bitter hatred for so long and suddenly this happens. She returned and he was about to lose her again i can not begin to understand how desperate he was to go to our ship and beg us for help and when he thought he lost everything again a miracle happened again their child it was alive. I believe in that moment that's what made stalker remember everything which triggered that transformation of his. He was no longer stalker the tenno hunter, he became Sorren the husband of jade the protector of his family.
Orion the hunter or Sirius his loyal hound the good man who became stars or the pet so loyal he followed him and became the brightest star in the sky I swear to god if we get a father son duo boss fight at some point imma lose my goddamn mind
