This has been one of the most unique regions I have ever explored!
So many new elements and set pieces, I had never seen a wavy frosty ocean in this way!
Region mod is "The radiosphere" by "Atom" and "Avocado999"!

This is an absolutely horrifying mod. No creatures, no matter how much you expect at least a bat fly, maybe even a white lizard to surprise you- nothing. You don’t get the comfort of having a companion in this massive region, it’s horrifying. And honestly the part that’s supposed to represent the northern sea is just the cherry on top. The person who made this should be really proud, I genuinely feel like if rainworld got another dlc or an update, this should be part of it.

I completely agree with you, the entire time I was really uneasy going through the region because of the lack of creatures and amazing ambiance. I think a creature or 2 could still spice it up (and potentially make it a bit more playable for hunter) but I am not sure how much it would hurt the uneasy feeling...

@@lolight2I think the shelters being spread out is the main tense part of this region, and the platforming sections with death pits also help this region a lot. Maybe there could be a couple of coalespepides (I’m sorry I can’t spell) and a centipede spread really far out across the map, so it’s extremely rare to see them. Maybe for hunter though, there could be a chance for you to find lizard corpses in random rooms, adding to the tension but still not taking away the loneliness.

I think if they're ever going to add creatures to this mod, the best way to keep the uneasy ambiance would be to make them absolutely massive and indifferent to you, like something way the background in the rooms that are outside or some half-hidden spider creature sorting things from the ceiling

what terrifies me the most about this region is the fact that they could have had a pole plant ANYWHERE inbetween the dangling poles!! (also on another note this region could be a waterfront facility kind of region, or like the exterior where it is a region to a iterators region considering theres alot of iteratorish parts around)

YES, _YES,_ glad to see somebody else with my headcanon. Recursive transform arrays and the cans are clearly higher technology than the rest, and iterators are *colossal* beings that would've taken long enough to build for technology to improve long before the project was finished; so it makes sense that as you went higher up, you meet newer technology that was re-designed before that point on had even started building (and therefore, vice-versa).

Hello the developer here. The game freezing when you go "down" is caused by the new Regionkit update Wich breaks the room effect. Wich causes it to break. (Aka Im Not at fault :P) The room that is immune to rain is a mistake I'll fix that very soon. I forgot to change the danger type. Thanks for playing 👍. The day 2 Bugfix will come soon Oh also all the blocky slopes are caused by a drizzle bug. There is also nothing I can do about it (the pathc is now active)

Hey! It's all good, no worries! It's not the first time a region has frozen my game and it surely won't be the last, the difference between them is how the developers chose to handle it and seeing you quickly working in bugfixing is what stands out positively :D Haha I really thought I was safe in that room for a second, if I had found a shelter I would have survived but alas, I was surrounded by death ☠️

a funny thing i noticed in that region is where the spear and the vulture mask is as the slugcats close their eyes when they are near that area which makes me think its some sort of grave of sorts.

This region looks like some sort of community arrays but more different, those huge satellite dishes look like they were made by solar power for the community arrays and how the iterator structures got their electric power, the black wires everywhere, the satellites and even the whole place! It looks like some sort of maze full of wires, also i love your vids! Hope to see more :D

Raindworlds world and setting sets up for some insanely unique and cool regions. Favourite part about this one for me was the waves. Those looked so cool.

the region is really beautiful! the desolate atmosphere was done really well, and the big waves are something i'm pretty sure i have never seen in any other mod, which is really interesting. though, i also have a question, is the music that starts at 3:21 a part of the mod? i really want to know what it's called, it sounds amazing.

I like that the song "satellite" plays at 3:20, it feels out of place as the music plays at an emotional and climactic moment in the game but the name makes sense at least

@@anactualfork2359 it was originaly like this. the problem however was that all 17 playtesters complained its to hard to get food. so i decided to make "life pockets" wich are clearly warm and are also a very strong contrast

I feel like Vulturecat/Outsider, or some other sort of playing modded Scug would probably be easier to play with in this region. Feel like if you had to pick a non-modded slugcat I’d say Rivulet or Arti.

This region is so cool. But is there a lore reason for why there are no creatures? It just feels odd that there are no spawns, and it seems like that might make it a little boring, but at least the background atmosphere is well done. The waves on the ocean look incredible. It's a very visually interesting region, I just wish there was a bit more going on with the gameplay.

Author don't know, how works radio. Ionosphere-connection requires not many energy (and water -_-). He could made better story.

You're the guy that said exactly the same in steam. And sincerely, no. You red the pearl, you KNOW it has NOTHING to do with the ionosphere, its a DIRECT TRANSMISSION ARRAY. it transmits DIRECTLY. And even then ? The power requirements come from the ammount of data and speeds ? No matter how or what you use, processing multiple itterators worth of data is a huge fucking load. What youre referring to, the "ionosphere communication" is q completely different effect. It's extremely long radio waves bouncing off the upper layers of the atmosphere to "skip" distance. It is NOT good for data transfers, it takes a lot of power (ever seen and AM antenna?) And is infact no longer used.
